Village Tavern Pembroke Pines
I was there for Sunday brunch. My order was the simple waffle, which I ordered without the whip cream. The dish took long to arrive, was cold and had whipped cream. I sent it back. It arrived quickly but still had whipped cream. I wasn’t going to send it back a third time
The service was excellent.
The menu choices were varied and extensive.
Our table had three different appetizers and three different entrees and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meal.
We made a reservation & were seated BEFORE our designated time - short wait for a Saturday lunch! The table next to us had a very VERY LOUD lady...jarring at times. Server could’ve checked on us more frequently (water?) but overall AWESOME!
Always enjoy the Village Tavern. The food is excellent and the service is exceptional. Whether you’re going for lunch, brunch or dinner, anytime is a great time.
Food and service at Village Tavern never disappoint!
This restaurant is consistently good and a favorite for lunch with friends. They're very accommodating on minor order adjustments. Also very comfortable to eat at the bar.
Our server. Izzy was really good, made great suggestions , our mussels appy was exceptional, the spinach flat bread really good,
The grouper my step son had, also made to perfection. The pasta dish with chicken also great. I could go on and on, we will definitely come back, I have gone to the Boynton restaurant but I think we enjoyed this one just a little bit better. My family are searching for a Village Tavern in Charlotte, NC, because they enjoyed so much
First time there and I enjoyed it. Food was good, drinks were good and restaurant was clean
Love coming here anytime, but my fab is Sunday brunch
We often go to Village Tavern. The reason? Good food and service and a menu with variety. A new item is avocado toast with poached eggs and goat cheese. It was delicious. I have to give a ‘shoutout’ to the manager Michael. He always makes sure things are going well.
This was our first visit to Village Tavern and except for the Mac and Cheese which seemed to be overbaked, the rest of the food was fantastic. The Chilean Sea Bass was delicious and the Prime Rib was perfectly served. Our server was excellent and attentive. A definite recommend and will certainly visit again.
This is our go to place. The Village Tavern is all around solid every time.
The service and the atmosphere was very good. I ordered the grouper Hemingway. The grouper was swimming in pasta and not that much fish. I would suggest a little bigger piece of fish and less pasta
Excellent food and service
Server was great; front desk was accommodating. Food is consistently good
I hate to be taken advantage of, if you want to charge me for something extra let me know when I ordered, not when I get the bill.
And I should know better than to order TACOS in a place that does not know what tacos should taste like.
We were meeting some friends for dinner. We all love coming here (from Miami).
First time for diner been for sunday brunch a few time the diner was just ok fries cold sandwich had no taste the salad was small will not go back at that time will go for Sunday brunch again!!!
Debbie is amazing I wouldnt go to any other waitress shes great!!!!!!
Got a sliced steak. Dried out. Didn’t finish it. Didn’t take it home. Disappointing, as I’ve been there quite a few times. Waste of money.
Service started out super slow but ended being ok. Springrolls were good, tuna sashimi was good, burger was good. my tuna salad didnt taste too fresh. Fish tacos had little fish. I saw a customer send back their dish and a different customer cx her app which the waiter admitted to forgetting to put the order in. Same thing happened to us with dessert on our last visit. We frequent this restaurant but have experienced a decline in service and quality.
Love Village Tavern, with one caveat: great crab cakes, which I always order, but they don’t seem to be able to send then out hot—no matter what I say when I place the order. This has been going on for years! I send them back—sometimes they come back hot the second time; sometimes they come back the same way they came out originally. Can’t figure out why! Waitstaff is well-trained and professional; management seems involved; food is delicious; crab cakes are consistently luke warm. But, I’ll keep trying because they are the best crab cakes around!
Cody was our server and was very nice. He took great care of us and we got all the right items. We were celebrating a birthday and he even put a candle in the dessert!
2 out of 3 dishes were prepared incorrectly and had to be sent back. Drinks were okay. Our server seemed as though he was in a rush. Constantly asking to clear our table as we were eating.
My wife & I have dined there since it opened, always great service, but this time was poor. Took way to long for the main course, so we got take out. There was hardly anyone there so that should have been allot quicker. I will always recommend & return, great menu. Thxs.
New Years Eve Dinner
Had reservations for 7:30; was seated at 8:05, which was disappointing; noise level was extremely busy and loud. Food was excellent; had to ask for bread since it was not offered.
We had a dinner reservation for 7:15 and were not seated until 8 pm! That is just not acceptable. Furthermore, the table they chose for us after our long wait was right next to the kitchen line - very loud and less than appealing. My daughter ordered the wheat free noodles as she is allergic and they missed the order delaying her meal for 10-15 minutes. They gave us all of ours and we just sat there waiting on her meal to arrive. On the plus side, our waitress was fantastic - her enthusiasm and attention made us feel good and the food was delicious.
Consistency’s the key and Village Tavern gets it right every time. Always one of our favorites!
The service was extremely slow. Food arrived cold. Waited with reservations. Waited 20 min before manager maitre D came over. Waitress was preoccupied Horrible srrvice. We boxed
food amd took home. On New Years Eve.
Delicious. Service was great, food was excellent! Everyone at the table loved their food! I enjoyed mine, but I do prefer my food really hot. It was warm and no complaints from everyone else. But the food was fresh and tasted it was made for me! Great way to ring in the new year!
I scored the service as only good because my waitress was inattentive to our needs. First, she took too long to come to our table at the the outset. Second, we had to wait 10 minutes for water refill and she never come back to our table after the food was served to see if we were satisfied.
Otherwise, our food was outstanding.
Perfect for dinner with friends. Good selections, helpful staff, no pressure to hurry up and eat.
Good food, ok service, overall s nice evening
Fantastic stop for lunch en route to Miami International Airport. Great food and service.
They ran out of a regular/menu appetizer.
Great food. Personnel is well covered including managers who are constantly going around the floor. We (my family and I) had a fantastic dinner. We will definitely come back more often.
I really enjoy the Village Tavern Recently had a birthday party there so I chose to have special dinner there. I requested a quiet area. We were by the front door behind the check-in and unfortunately, there was a party of 4 that were loud and vulgar...too much drinking. Would've enjoyed the evening more had it not been for the noise level. People waiting to be seated were standing next to us as we ate. Not exactly a quiet area.
We love dining at the Village Tavern. The food is always delicious and the menu is huge. The drinks are always amazing too. We ate outside in the patio on a beautiful day. We always come back.
Always great food and good service. Great wine selection and proper cocktails. I definitely suggest reservations because everyone loves this place.
