We were greeted and seated immediately. Our server was wonderful. She was able to recommend several menu items. I had the Baked French Toast (Brunch Menu) and it is fabulous. Went on our 49th anniversary, the wait staff was outstanding-very attenuative to our needs and reinforced the significance of this special occasion. Food, as usual was great, including the warm French bread. We were placed in a sperate room with three other anniversary couples. Nice touch. Received a complimentary glass of sparkling wine at the conclusion of the meal.

We really enjoyed this restaurant. There were lots of large parties and it was very loud, but the food was delicious and the service, from Fredy, was extraordinary. We had the avocado dip appetizer, which is very limey. Don’t think guacamole. It was bright, light, and creamy with a good selection of dippers. The glazed pork chop was perfect. It was accompanied by mashed potatoes and grilled asparagus. It was elevated comfort food. The grilled salmon salad combined a perfectly grilled salmon filet, topping a salad that had avocado, spinach, romaine and grape tomatoes. Eating light gave me a chance to split a dessert. We had the brownie and ice cream. Yum!

First thing the waitress did when she came to the table...coughed on my girlfriend! The prices during happy hour were great, and the mixed drinks were tasty. The shrimp and grits were normally $30, but half price at the bar...the shrimp and grits were not very good, even $15 was too much for them. Sauce was good, but the shrimps were few and far between, and small. Shrimps were not very good quality, I can get better shrimp at Kroger. Will come back for drinks, but not sure if we'll eat there again.

Every meal at Casa Italiana is always a treat. Last night we had the classic fettuccini alfredo with chicken, and it was incredible. The caesar salad dressing is so good, and was just the right ratio of dressing to salad. Our service was approachable and easy going. We also enjoyed 2 cocktails of the day. So good! Overall, it’s a delicious, easy going, enjoyable experience from the food to the service to the caring ownership. Our Richmond favorite!

Food was amazing, oysters, fish dip and grain salad, and scallops - it was a lot but a perfect meal - and it was split between two. Our server was knowledgable and helpful. Our first drink was not great, it as a new lavender drink but the margaritas after were great. I will say it is pricey - 2 people, 4 rounds of drinks and the food mentioned - but we knew it wasnt going to be cheap going it :)

We dined with friends at Buckheads on a Wednesday evening and had a terrific experience. We started with an appetizer of escargot, which was wonderful with the garlic butter in which it was served (excellent dipping sauce for bread too!). I chose the prime ribeye and my wife chose the halibut fish of the day, and we shared dishes for a do-it-yourself surf and turf. What a tasty combination! Then dinner ended with pecan pie a la mode. The food was absolutely stellar and I'd vote for Buckheads as the #1 steakhouse in RVA. While Buckheads has an extensive wine list, we appreciated the fact that we could bring some of our own special bottles for a small corking fee. I would recommend Buckheads to anyone looking for a superior steakhouse experience with an added bonus of being a 100% local establishment. We will be back!

We had the special of ravioli with shrimp and vodka sauce. It was excellent, as was the bread and the avocado salad. Service was outstanding, with an attentive but not overbearing waitstaff. The restaurant was staffed well, and was full, so they are obviously doing something quite well. Definitely a place to return to.

We visited for a special occasion - the same night for several groups - mostly proms and graduation parties. The staff went out of their way to find a quiet spot for us - substantially reducing the ambient noise. The food selection was good - we both had seafood. Salmon is not my usual, but they were out of the filet. So I may have to explore more salmon. Cooked to (in my inexperienced view) perfection - the wife was pleased with her scallops. I had Key Lime Pie for dessert - my wife tried the Creme Brulee, and both were excellent. Good value for an upscale place as well. We'll be back - likely for a not-so-special occasion!

We celebrated our daughter’s college graduation and were so pleased with the service, food and ambiance of the restaurant. We ordered the Brussel sprouts for an appetizer and they were delicious. I had the Mahi dish which hit on all cylinders. My husband and father- in-law had the filet Oscar and said that it was perfectly cooked and so tender. My mother-in-law ordered the pork chop special in which I she ate every bite. My son ordered the Tri-tip steak which he said was delicious. He especially liked the mashed potatoes. My daughter had the smoked salmon salad and throughly enjoyed it. Our waiter Ray was professional and personable. We would highly recommend 622 North for a special occasion.

Sitting on the sidewalk under the awning is our favorite. We typically enjoy 3 meze plates and a little wine. I think this is the best way to enjoy Stella's. We go for a late lunch or for dinner. Even when we could not get a reservation three years ago here in Virginia Beach our daughter in South Carolina got us a reservation in Columbia where we enjoyed our usual celebratory meal. I chose Striper’s based on the availability & decent rating. I felt like this would be a nice spot for Mother’s Day next to the water. I had the Citris Salmon and my husband had the Shrimp Creole. I would have given 5 stars if it wasn’t for the cold mashed potatoes & broccoli with my dish. The salmon was piping hot which led me to believe the sides were placed on my plate first waiting on the salmon. My husband loved the shrimp creole so other than that the overall experience was good.

This was easily the best meal I have had in my entire life. I booked this trip to come down from NYC and visit friends in RVA based around the first available reservation I could get. The meal was exceptional. We tried just about every appetizer, we’re sharing our entrees among the four of us because of how good they were, and took a whirlwind tour of the cocktail menu, before sharing as many of the deserts as we could handle. The staff was gracious and accommodating, could not have asked for more, especially tolerating the wide swath of food we ordered. We were there for three hours and I can’t imagine there is a better way to have spent that time.
