   Front of the House - Wonderful and welcoming. Ambassador Patti is always spot on Wait Staff - Stephanie - attentive; menu knowledge is helpful. Meal - Mahi Mahi with broccoli - wonderful. Light meal for the workday. Seasoning was spot on.

   The heat was blowing out hard at our table. It was very uncomfortable. What we had was great but decided not to stay for dinner. Just too uncomfortable. We did ask to have it turned down.

   Front of the House - Fantastic upgrade to have a “Wonderful Lunch.” Ambassador Patti is spectacular. One solid Atlas Restaurant Group Team member. In my opinion she is one key holder of the glue that bonds people together. Wait Staff - Monica - helpful with menu recommendations. Attentive to Customer requirements. Meal - Steak salad - wonderful lunch go to meal. Seasoned and well prepared. Recommendation - refrigerate the salad bowls and enhance the salad bar refrigeration system. Cold plates and salad, in my opinion, chilled bowl and salad items will enhance the dining experience. Shout out to Butch - new position. Interactive. Appears helpful to the Wait Staff and he moves about the restaurant. Very similar to Ambassador Patti.

   Wait Staff - Monica - menu knowledge. Recommends from experience solid lunch items as well as new menu items. Attention to the customer. Front of the House - TVI Ambassador Patti is smashing. Helpful; happy; and makes you feel at home. From custom birthday cards to holiday cakes, Patti is a one of a kind person. Meal - steak salad medium rare. Solid go to lunch. Recommendation - consider refrigerating the salad and/or dish. This process may make for crispier lettuce and the touch of a cold dish suggesting freshness. TVI Word of the Month - Nurture.

    Unfortunately, my BF and I were disappointed in the food. We ordered oysters (they were good), the tuna tacos (decent), fried green tomatoes (ok) and the autumn salad (nothing impressive). A lot of it lacked good flavor. The portions were decent. The service was good. The room we were seated in was boiling hot when we arrived and freezing cold mid way through our dinner. All in all, not the best experience.

    Great ambiance and decor. The service was friendly and efficient. Good traditional American food prepared well. I was very pleased. My only complaint was that there were a fair number of very small children in the restaurant on Saturday morning and they were making a lot of noise, screaming and whining, which really kind of disrupted the experience. When you go to a restaurant you’re not really just paying for the food but for the experience. Screaming infants and toddlers that are not disciplined by their parents is not conducive to a proper dining experience. The restaurant needs to discourage families from bringing their young children into the establishment. Apart from that, it is a superb restaurant and one of the last few remaining traditional dining establishments in the area.

    The overall experience was very good. Saturday evening is popular for group dining so the noise level was higher than desired. Service is consistently great which is why it is frequently a first choice.

    Second time in two weeks where food came out at best warm. 2 dishes the first time (Braised short ribs) and 1 this time ( chicken parm). Since the food was brought out quickly, My guess is the food is reheated and the waitstaff isn’t waiting long enough for the food to warm up.

    I ordered Cream of Crab soup with some Sherry on the side, waitress brought Sherry Vinegar instead thinking that would do!! Ordered 2 baguettes, we got 2 small pieces of bread, 1 was black/burned on the top both were very dry. Butter was highly salted. As it was a business lunch, I did not say anything to the waitress. Very dissappointing meal all round.

    Some other reviews complain about price. Hello, inflation anyone? Yes. It’s not a cheap meal but I’d rather the price go up and the quality stay high than the price stay the same and they lower the quality. It’s a great place. Classic and classy, great property. Excellent servers. Great food. It’s a black, cloth napkin place. It’s a special night out. It’s not diner.

    A $19 burger?? It’s two 4-oz patties so you can’t even order it to your doneness. “Sorry we only do medium well.” And it wasn’t even that good. The fries are, fwiw. $36 for a piece of salmon? $50+ for a steak? Wow. The majority of items have crab, which is great if you like it, otherwise you’re a lot more limited. A whole menu and, take away the crab, nothing sang to me or my date. I got the turkey burger, which was huge but again, nothing to boast about, and not nearly worth $18. The room we were in had a frigid draft, and noise pumping so loud we could barely talk. The server was as attentive as he could be, but he was really over-worked and, as he said himself, just trying to get through the shift. I hadn’t been there in a few years, and thought it was pretty meh the last time I was. I figured we’d try it again, and it really was still very meh. Obviously, a lot of people love it, because the parking lot is humongous and always packed. But I have no reason to ever go back again.
