    Our server did an excellent job. She came back several times to make sure everything was good. Our appetizer of Firecracker Shrimp was very good-not too spicy, but with a little kick of spice’. However, my entree was a bit disappointing. I ordered the blackened grouper with a spinach/tomato sauté over yellow rice. I had gotten it there before and really enjoyed it. This time it came with this heavy, over salted sauce that spoiled the dish for me. There was only one small grape tomato cut in half and very little spinach. The peach cobbler that my husband and I split was very good. Overall, very good, but not five star.

    Service was good. Fried Green Tomatoes and Hush Puppies were good. The crab in the shrimp and cram casserole did not look or taste like blue crab. Green beans were limp.

    Food was excellent. Service was spot on and we enjoyed ourselves very much. Desarae our waitress was very attentive and outgoing, with always a smile. Thank you for your hospitality.

    This restaurant used to be much better! The service was good but the food not as good as before. Pine bark stew was good but the bread that comes with it was hard as a rock. The crabcake entree was a disappointment with the crabcakes being mushy and not seasoned. The yellow rice was super crunchy and the broccoli 🥦 had brown stems. For a meal that was over $100, it was not the best.

    Located on River Street - we made a reservation and were seated immediately upon arrival. It was early and there were plenty of open tables. There was musty smell upon entering the restaurant which I attributed to being located in a historic building, but it wasn’t pleasant and made me think of mold. We shared a shrimp cocktail. It was good - but small - 4 medium shrimp seasoned well and served with flavorful cocktail sauce. She crab soup was very rich, very thick, and very flavorful. One spoonful was enough. The Caesar salad was large, but nothing special. It was slightly bitter. Shrimp and crab Au Gratin was WONDERFUL served with yellow rice and garlic broccoli. The Au Gratin was worth the trip. The yellow rice was great too, but the broccoli came out covered in diced garlic. It was an exceptional amount and had to be a careless mistake, as I can’t imagine anyone wanting that much on their food. The shrimp and lobster linguine with tomato scampi was very disappointing. Neither my husband nor myself liked it. The sauce tasted like black licorice - perhaps from a licorice basil?. It was unlike any scampi I’ve ever experienced. First, the sauce was thick and creamy - more like the consistency of Alfredo, but not the flavor of either Alfredo or Scampi. It had lots of shrimp and lobster chunks. The shrimp was fine, but the lobster tasted bad. The Lobster was fishy and bitter - unlike any lobster I’ve had in the past. Made me wonder if it was really lobster. We barely ate any of it and for $28 it was a waste. Our waitress was efficient and friendly, but provided no guidance or suggestions. Overall, our meal was okay. A little too expensive for the quality of food. Not in a hurry to return.

    Best described as fast food seafood. Water was in plastic cups. Waiter was excessively chatty and just trying too hard. Starters came out quickly. I had the shrimp and crab bisque which was tasty, but not hot. My husband had the “jumbo” shrimp cocktail. He liked it, but the shrimp was not jumbo. Waited forever for the entrees. I had the shrimp and crab au gratin. It was good, but nothing special. Husband had peel and eat shrimp. And another wait for the check. With so many good restaurants in Savannah, pass on this one.
