   Food took forever to come out. Forever. Then it was not hot. Our server told us that the kitchen was short staffed but did not offer anything to make it right. Very disappointing.

   The filet mignon was fantastic and the chicken was equally good. The server was very attentive. It was more expensive than we anticipated, however the restaurant was great.

   Our server, Tom Slav was excellent and the manager, Mike, was proactive and very nice. Treated us like regulars rather than tourists.

   Delicious rib eye steak and had good variety of options on children's menu too. Took a while to get food on a busy Saturday night, although the food was still hot when it came to the table.

    The hostess gladly gave us a different table when we requested it as the table for two they originally gave us was tiny. Our server, Tom, was wonderful - very knowledgeable, made great suggestions, very attentive and personable. We had several appetizers rather than an entree, plus a bottle of wine. The French onion soup was lukewarm even though the bowl was hot and it had too much cheese on top for the small size cup of soup. The others (beet and melon salad, wedge salad, carpaccio and crab cakes were okay, but not great. The restaurant is really loud. I have dined here in the past and the steaks were good.

    Greeted on arrival and shown to a nice table. Friendly and knowledgeable waiter took answered questions and took order promptly. Unfortunately, one of the main courses was delivered not as ordered (missing meat and wrong potato dish). When a replacement baked potato arrived that still was not correct. Also, I waited 15 minutes for a second beer then only to be told they had run out. On a positive note all issues were resolved once the manager was involved. We have been here before and have found it to offer a slightly better place than some other similarly priced venues, plus it has a nice ambience and, if you like meat, some very tasty dishes.

    Overall it seemed like a nice casual steakhouse. Service wasn’t excellent but OK. Food was mixed. Brussel sprouts were really tasty. Pulled pork was generous and tasty. BBQ ribs were not good. They seemed to be not BBQ at all but rather slathered with “smoke” seasoning…which was distasteful. We actually did not eat them. The Ribeye steak, their specialty and most expensive item on the menu except for the filet, was mediocre at best. It was not a thick cut, tough and flavor was just ok. All and all for the money, not worth going.

    Our waitress was very nice but the kitchen was slow. We waited over a hour after ordering for our food to be brought to the table. Yes we were there during spring break but with two hungry and tired kids having to wait more than an hour for dinner was frustrating. The food was delicious once it finally came but the wait was a big negative.

    We were in Breck for 4 nights and dined at Salt Creek twice. Food is excellent, service is superb and the value is outstanding. From the moment you walk in the door, you'll love this place.

    Very attentive staff, we were never left hanging waiting for drinks or the next course. We got steaks, 2 very different thicknesses, filet and ribeye, and the temperature on both was perfect, so compliments to the chef on that. Nice atmosphere too, it's got a good vibe, like a place you want to be. Will definitely go back.

    Good food & music but Our food took a very long time considering we had small children with us. Tables around us had the same issue. If you decide to go, be prepared to wait 45-1 hour to eat. Also, expect to wait and be sent upstairs for your reservation. Not the service I expected when I used a card to reserve a spot here.

    Pro: The filet and rib eye were excellent - probably one of the best filet's I've had in a long time. Cons: Server although very nice, I had to list this as a con because it took almost 1.5 hours to get our food and we had children with us that were very tired & hungry. Not a pleasant experience. Also, after 5 at our table were served, we had to wait another 15 mins for the other 3 entrees to be served. We were told one entree had fallen in the floor and had to be replated. Not sure why the other 2 were delivered while we were waiting. Small place so expect it to be noisy. If just for the food alone I would have rated Salt Creek Steakhouse higher but not much concern for our wait and the delay in getting 3 of our entrees.

    Food was some good some not. Trout app tasted like a lot of cream cheese. Trout entree was a bit dry, risotto weirdly had a lot of not well-cooked carrots, Brussels sprouts also not cooked enough. My husband liked his prime rib and the crème brûlée worked. Server was nice.

    My favorite spot in Breckenridge! The food and service were outstanding as usual. Karli and her team went out of their way to make sure that my group had everything they needed for a perfect dinner and a great time. Thank you to everyone at Salt Creek. We will see you soon.

    I was expecting something less from this restaurant as it was a last minute choice that could accommodate the size of our party. I have to say it was one of the most solid meals I had in Breck! The steaks were perfect, the salads were large and delicious and they had a great wine list. Our server was super attentive. I will definitely go back, especially with a larger group.

    We had my birthday dinner at Salt Creek Steakhouse on March 7. We arrived about a half hour early and they recommended we wait in the bar above the restaurant. We didn't even need to go outside to get to it. And it was a great bar with great drinks. At exactly our reservation time, we got a text telling us our table was ready. We were given a booth along the wall, which was nice. The wait staff was prompt and attentative throughout our meal. The steak entrees came with potatoes and vegetables, which doesn't always happen at a steak house, so that added to the value of the meal. The only thing to note is that this restaurant is loud with conversation. I'm not sure why that is, but both of us commented that it was the only minor negative to a very good meal. Overall, this was a very good dining experience.

    Our experience here was top notch! Our server Abby was so sweet and took her time with us. She made sure we had everything we needed, asked us where we were from, and gave us recommendations on where to go and what to do while we were in Breckinridge. The food here was phenomenal. There were 4 of us and we ordered the filet mignon, prime rib, and strip steak… the filet mignon took the cake. Add the Jameson au pruiove sauce on top and its chef’s kiss. All in all fantastic experience.
