The Pink Door
What Insiders Are Saying
The Pink Door is part circus burlesque, part Italian restaurant, and is one of the best dining experiences you can have in Seattle.
Service was excellent, water always filled, we were getting checked on an appropriate amount of time. Great view
Wonderful food, great setting, incredible views. Definitely a favorite in Seattle.
My boyfriend and I came here for lunch and ordered the Caesar salad which was incredible. We also got the Ragu and the Winter Risotto, both of which were amazing. We loved the outdoor seating and the atmosphere was great. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Seattle, it’s on our list for next time!
When we lived in Seattle we celebrated our first wedding anniversary there and fell in love with Pink Door. Unfortunately, we had to move away and try to visit Seattle as often as possible. Every trip we make we return to Pink Door and find it just as wonderful as it was when we left. We adore The Pink Door.
Expensive dinner. Maybe good if you get the water view. The food tastes good and the aerial show is good.
LIVES UP TO THE HYPE!!!
It was our first time visiting The Pink Door and let me assure you we will be coming back (if we can get a reservation). There were great GF options and great seafood and other non pasta dishes. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
Love The Pink Door! Great service, beautiful dining room with a Puget Sound view and fabulous food! We will be back!
Food and service where both great. We were sat at a window table and it was an incredible view of the bay. Price was fair and average for nicer Italian dining. It was quite easy to find despite only being a pink door in the alley and I heard great things about it so we had to check it out.
Favorite go to special occasion restaurant. Service to food to atmosphere all at a high level....I’m Italian from NYC
I have dined at the pink door for many years but when I went this weekend I had the worst service. My waiter was really rude and had a very bad attitude towards us but was being friendly to people at the table around us. It felt like she was trying to rush us and at one point she rolled her eyes at us while I was asking her for something. I didn’t have an attitude back or say anything to her but I did talk to the manager after and all he said was sorry.
I hope other people don't read this review, as it's already hard to get a reservation. Service was awesome, the ambiance was perfect and the food was top notch. Do be aware that the portions on the pasta are very small, but the taste makes up for it.
My only hesitation: there are three distinct spaces in the restaurant, the patio (seasonal), the back, and the front area with the bar. I dont think I'd enjoy sitting in the front area as it is much louder and much hotter than the rest of the restaurant, plus you don't get the views.
We really enjoyed our dinner here! The food was really excellent all around... we had the arincini, la fetunna, agnolotti, lasagna, and the cauliflower potato dish. For dessert we had the crime brûlée and the flourless chocolate cake. My husband ordered the starry starry night cocktail. The arincini was decent but not on the same level as the rest of the meal and I wasn’t a fan of the chocolate cake, but everything else was SPECTACULAR! Super delicious food that didn’t feel overly heavy for Italian food. We had a table right by the window with a view of the water and pike place, which made for such a great atmosphere! This is a place that I would definitely come back to for date night, or somewhere I would bring out of town guests.
water view from restaurant was fantastic, and food was also great.
We had a late lunch with friends on Saturday. We sat for 2 hours and enjoyed drinks, appetizers, entrees, and dessert. Our server made several recommendations that were fantastic and gave us plenty of time to enjoy our experience. Everything was delicious and we had a fabulous time. Could not have been better. We will definitely be back!
I don't understand the hype. The food was ok. We will not go back there again.
Exceeded all my ambiance and food expectations. Amazing!
Always great, love the new addition to the restaurant!
Great service and the food is always delicious.
Our waitress had a great highlighter on her face according to my friends. She was great.
Hard to find the location as the door is more of a salmon pink color faded but the local homeless guy noticed we were lost and pointed us in the right direction. You will need reservations. I felt a little under dresssd for dinner in a tee shirt. My bad for not changing in to a coller shirt for dinner. The quail was the best I ever had. Our waitress knew her stuff and made the whole experience pleasant. This place is now on my list of places to eat when in Seattle.
The service was great, food was as expected... but the host was not very friendly.
WONDERFUL food and atmosphere!!! This is a MUST!!
Food was sublime. Took work colleagues from out of town and it was a hit!
Everything was perfect. We had a beet arugula Salad that was outstanding. We had Lasaugna that was perfect. The wait staff was so friendly and helpful. We came early and they gave us a corner table with a view. It was my daughters 60th birthday and special it was and the Pink door staff made our celebration one for the record books.. I took a photo of the Pink door to put on facebook of our celebration.
Loved it! The best lasagne I've ever had. I've had spinach lasagne before, but never spinach lasagne noodles. With 3 sauces - a white sauce, pesto, and seriously the freshest, sweetest, best tomato sauce I've ever had. My date had the antipasto platter which was huge and more than he could eat, and consisted of many sections of deliciousness. All the veggies were flavored and cooked to perfection...nothing overcooked or overflavored. Ambience is whimsical and unique. Really enjoyed the experience and we'll be back for sure on our next trip to Seattle.
We were in town for Spring Break staying downtown so decided to try the Pink Door. The food was great, our waitress Lola was fantastic and the restaurant decor and vibe was warm, inviting and unique.
Amazing restaurant, amazing service, amazing food, would recommend over and over! Love the show also!
Wonderful food , great presentation, and very good food ! Always a great experience!
I made reservations a month prior online thinking we would have a great table either with a seat by the window or to watch the entertainment however I guess you have to call for those tables because we did not get a great seat for my husbands birthday. Other than that everything was good.
Out of towners from Cleveland here. Loved every minute of our dining experience. We will recommend to everyone!! :)
Great ambiance, and welcoming people. I am from out of town, and accidentally made my reservation for the wrong night. I was seated right away and at a quaint table with a nice view. I enjoyed the warm wine, seafood spaghetti and flourless chocolate cake. All was fabulous. I will definitely recommend this spot.
Bread is a bit too cold on it class! Food is good price is acceptable.
My experience was great, the ambiance was wonderful, I had made a reservation the night before and didn’t realize I reserved for the wrong area, but I had left comments on where I wanted to sit, so they understood the mishap and were very accommodating. The food was fabulous, again the dining ambiance was just as great as the lounge, our waiter seemed very friendly. Towards the end of the night it felt like we were more of a bother and that we were a hindrance. It was my birthday and I had wanted a dessert, I thought it was one thing instead of another... so when they brought it out I had stopped the waiter to let the waiter know and he offered a different desert but it was late I said no, and he didn’t even offer to take it off the check. Since we didn’t even eat it... but when he dropped the check my husband just decided to eat it since we already paid for it. I don’t believe they did any thing wrong. It was just not an above and beyond customer service situation. So that was a bit of a bummer. Otherwise it was a great place and I would definitely recommend it to a friend!
The atmosphere was amazing! Made you feel like you were in a different part of the world. The food was outstanding, especially the Ahi Tuna Crudo appetizer. Overall 10/10, definitely would come back here again when in Seattle.
Authentic Italian cuisine in an intimate environment. Our drinks were great, service was timely, friendly and efficient. There was good teamwork between the servers too. We were seated upon arrival after arriving about 5 minutes after our reservation time. They acknowledged our anniversary and had a lovely glass of Prosecco brought out. We loved it and plan to come back!
Super good. Tasty cocktail (Strega Nonna), very nice tuna crudi, creamy torchio pasta with king salmon, and yummy olive cake.
The food and service was excellent however when I ordered a Coca Cola it came in an extremely dirty glass. I didn't notice until I finished drinking my soda. It became apparent I was drinking out of a nasty glass with black residue on the sides. It made me feel disgusted. I would not go back to this restaurant because they use dirty dishes. Gross!
Beautiful interiors, wonderful service, and great food. Not too pricey for the value of the food.
My friend and I had a wonderful dinner and accommodations were great
