Lillian was our server and she truly went above and beyond for our group of 12 women! She made sure we were comfortable, had fun, and had everything we needed! Thank you so much for making our experience so phenomenal Lillian!

We made a reservation at The Handle Bar but arrived to find no table available. Once seated, our table was adjacent to the bar, and despite multiple attempts, no one took our order for over 30 minutes. With my back against the bar, I tried ordering directly from the bartender—unsuccessfully. Eventually, I had to flag down a server, who then redirected us to someone else. Service issues continued throughout the meal. It took an unusually long time to get water and drinks, and our entrees arrived before our beer and Old Fashioned. I ordered the steak frites medium rare (noted as leaning rare) and received a well-done steak. My husband’s burger was fine, but the kitchen miss on the steak was disappointing. The restaurant is dog-friendly, which we appreciated, though no water was offered for our dog. After finishing our meal, we asked to order dessert—only to be told the kitchen had just closed, about 10 minutes before we tried to order, despite having been handed a dessert menu moments earlier. When we finished and asked to speak with a manager, we were told that no manager was available because it was a weekend, which was frustrating given the number of service breakdowns. Overall, the setting has potential, but the lack of coordination, poor pacing, and inconsistent service overshadowed the experience. This visit fell well short of expectations, especially for a reservation-based meal in Teton Village.

If I could give this experience zero stars I would. First, the service was absolutely TERRIBLE! I think they pulled some random man from the parking lot to be our server. He couldn’t have cared less about his job. Second-the food was the absolute worst we’ve ever had in Jackson Hole in the numerous times we’ve visited. Lastly, we talked to the server about our sons peanut allergy and after he was dismissive, we requested the manager who assured us there were no peanuts at all in the restaurant only to find out later there was peanuts on the desert menu. I don’t expect all restaurants to be peanut free however, I do expect that the manager to be transparent about the menu so we can assess and mitigate the risk and exposure. Overall, I would avoid this restaurant, it was beyond disappointing.
