The restaurant offered a fantastic dining experience with very attentive and welcoming service. It provided a cozy ambiance with just the right amount of intimate space and warm, dim lighting. While I had high hopes for the food… my experience left me somewhat underwhelmed. It was satisfactory but nothing stood out as truly memorable. It’s worth mentioning that I have not had the opportunity to explore the full range of dishes on offer.

7 Minute walk to the State Theater in New Brunswick and well worth it, we had Steak, Fish and Pasta and all 3 were cooked to perfection! Great Decor, attentive Wait Staff and moderate price makes this a go-to place for me!

Service was quite slow in the beginning...took 45 minutes for our first round of drink orders to be taken. Improved after we placed our order, but definitely was unexpected. Meal was good and vey enjoyable.

Our food was mostly quite delicious. The garden setting was very pleasant, and conversation was easy with a welcome quiet-to-moderate noise level. The service was highly uncoordinated: After being seated, it took at least 10 minutes before someone came over to greet us and ask our choice of water. Our waiter let us know that bread was coming imminently – after we had been there for 20 minutes or so – but it took another half hour; after first course plates had been cleared. Soup was served without a spoon, for which we had to flag down staff. Water refills were hard to come by, with no regular attention to our table even after entrées were served. Our waiter was polite but aloof.

We had a nice meal ….. was not great, as we have experienced in the past. We found the prices a bit exorbitant, especially the bar service. Also $20 for valet parking plus tip was frankly outrageous.

I’ve been to this place for Happy Hour and just had bar food but have been wanting to dine here for ages. It was my 50th birthday and I just planned to have dinner with a few friends. They were very accommodating, especially when they had a lot of last minute bookings and hadn’t planned for the extra staffing. Chris, our server, apologized for the delay in service and explained the staffing issue. We were in no rush, and never felt neglected, as any delayed requests were thoroughly communicated. The food was wonderful. Our party of 8 tried several different appetizers and entrees, different wines, and 2 different cocktails. The fan favorites were the steak, scallops, gnocchi, pigs ears, and grilled octopus. And the sweet potato fries were great also! General consensus was that the bone marrow was a bit too salty, and the oyster mignonette was a little odd (we preferred good ole cocktail sauce and horseradish). Thanks for a great night out and delicious dinner!

What initially was a negative- turned in to a positive when we were attended to properly. Customer service by the manager was exceptional. Our table staff were very professional and engaging. The food exquisite- will return again and again with friends.

Great food and drink. Chip was a great help with gluten free options for two guests. All staff were wonderful. The garden room was a very enjoyable setting. Quite, were able to talk without raising your voice.

Food was good, small portions and expensive, but good. Service was good until the end when we tried to get our coats back from the *required* coat check. My husband couldn’t find one of our tickets and the gentleman helping us kept saying that we needed a ticket to get a coat. Eventually I told him the brand and described my coat, which was obviously next to my husbands, and he gave it back to me but said that we needed to remember a ticket for our next visit. Sir, there will be no next visit. We spent $245 on a dinner for two people and then left hungry and feeling like criminals. It was incredibly condescending.

We had the truffle tasting menu. Every course was delicious,l and the server was very attentive. The price was also quite reasonable given the selections, We’ve been there a number of times - this was one of the best meals we’ve had.

Our server was Alexandra and she was wonderful. There was a little misunderstanding when we ordered out entree . She and the manager, Alejandro made it all right. The food was excellent but over priced - and then to charge for a cup of coffee at brunch when the prix fixe is already excessive. The failure to note on line that the pice of brunch was fixed, not ala carte, felt a bit like a bait and switch set up. My confidence in the Frog has been shaken.

Four for dinner. Two had the pork chops, one had Long Island duck breast and one had vegetable rolls. Everyone loved the food. We had a bottle of Pino Grigio - great wine, too! Service was excellent. We ate on "the patio" which was just OK as far as ambiance but we were totally satisfied with The Frog and The Peach!

Surprisingly, the seats themselves were very uncomfortable. My wifes seat had no cushion and my seat, while cushioned, was akin to dinner bench seating. Food and service made up for it though.

My husband and I celebrated our wedding anniversary with the special 5 course truffle tasting menu. Each course was delicious! Creative and beautifully presented in addition to being enjoyable. Servers were all attentive and warm, friendly. We also enjoyed our cocktails and they have a thoughtful wine selection. Continues to be our favorite place in New Brunswick.

They provided anniversary well wishes with a complimentary desert and were attentive, never intrusive throughout our stay. The menu is always creative and delicious. I was there Saturday night for the Hub City Jazz Festival and the service staff was not ready for the clientele. Although they tried to provide what they felt was good service, they did not seem to be adequately trained for maneuvers the restaurant had to make to accommodate people in the garden room. For example, my husband asked for regular butter for this bread and was told the restaurant didn't have any. Eventually one of the other waiters got it. Also, the host very kindly obtained table space for our party of 3 - seated with another party of 2 which was fine, but the wait staff didn't clear the table from the previous guests (used water glasses, etc.). I am certain that we will be back again because we like the restaurant very much but were just very disappointed last Saturday with the service.

I must say that the service and the food were outstanding! It was hands down one of the best meals I've every had. That being said though, the pricing was so deceiving! 89 pp for dinner and then 95 pp for wine pairing? It didn't read that way. There was no mention of parking that was $25!! Ridiculous. Disappointed with open table not getting that right.

We made our reservation specifically for the 5-course truffle tasting menu, evident on our open table reservation. When we tried to order the wine pairing for the tasting menu as drinks, we were told they had sold out of the tasting menu. No alternatives were offered.

Food was just okay. Salmon appetizer was delicious. Cacio pepe was bland and dry. Sent it back for swordfish which was sliced thin and stacked while my friend’s was a regular size. Must have been all that was left by the end of the night. Should have just said they didn’t have it. Pretty tacky serving it that way. Won’t be returning. Service was really good.

We enjoyed The Frog and the Peach so much earlier this year that we promised to come back with friends who never experienced it. My friend is quoted as saying, “This is the best meal I’ve ever had”. I had the peach tasting, my husband had the duck, and our friends had the fluke. All amazing! We started with oysters at the bar (perfection) and crab toast. We ordered the veal tartare to share so my friends could experience it and the amazing way it is spiced. Thank you to Chef Bruce and his amazing staff for the great food and service.
