My only complaint is they need to better ventilate the open kitchen! It smelled of fish and even was noticeable in my clothes when I got home. Kind of a turn off. But our waitress and the food were excellent!

A nice find. Pleasant ambience. Good service. Food was very good, overall prepared well. Though bit pricey (entrees $35-40) for what it is. However, we would go back.

I have been going to the Farmhouse for years. It never disappoints. Though the menus items never vary too much, they are all delicious. I have literally tried them all. The short ribs are my favorite! The ambience is cozy, friendly and unpretentious, and the service is attentive. A thoroughly enjoyable experience!

Arancini, tuna tartare and farmers salad are all outstanding starters. Cocktails delicious! Steak frites was excellent for the third time!!! Can't go wrong with that or the halibut. Server incredibly competent and friendly. Highly recommend this neighborhood gem

Service was rushed. Told we needed to put appetizers and meal orders in at the same time. Was looking for a leisurely dinner and instead we were out 40 minutes after we sat down. Food was sub-par for the price. Server never checked in after food arrived.

Hidden gem in the heart of Needham. Service was EXCELLENT - second only to the delicious and varietal selection of farm-fresh appetizers, entrees and extensive beer, wine list(s) & cocktails. A lovely surprise with nice ambient lighting and excellent acoustics. Went from "bucket list" to "go to spot" in one evening!

Farmhouse, you are one of my all time favorites! I am so fond of your delectable fish tacos and your About Damn Thyme (gin and mocktail versions) that I don't venture away to explore other offerings. A nice problem to have. Thank you for a lovely evening--the feast and the warm attentiveness of the staff.

The Farmhouse has delightful ambience, perfect service and delectable food! Our server, Alyssa, attended to our every need. Love servers who smile perpetually, as she did. Fish tacos were crunchy and full of flavor. The Freebird chicken with its green vegetables and mashed potatoes was just delicious. We will be back
