The restaraunt itself is in an historic building with a nice ambiance and has an air of a mid to high-mid scale establishment. Exactly what you would expect from a very nice pub. Our party began the evening with a great experience. Service and drinks were great. Someone in leadership made the bizarre decision to hire a live rock band to set up and perform within feet of most of the establishment at 7:30 at night, in the middle of dinner service. It was incredibly loud. As you would expect from a live rock band. I’m sure they would be great in the proper venue. This was NOT that. Our party was a family, including our 80 year old Grandparents. We were seated directly in front of speakers, and no mention of this band was ever made. We had to leave just as our food arrived. It was impossible to communicate, even with the wait staff. When we asked for to go containers, there was barely an acknowledgement of the ridiculous situation. They just presented us with the full bill. I was blown away. I get that they may have been trying to create a fun vibe. They may even do this regularly. But we had no idea, and most people dropping a few hundred dollars on dinner together expect to be able to hear each other speaking. I might have considered coming back a quieter time, because the restaurant seemed nice, but to hand me a bill after we’ve expressed that they created an environment where it was physically uncomfortable to remain?! Give me a break. Completely tone deaf.

Our second stay at British Hotel. Amazing experience! Top notch pub ,and community is super safe and great for walking/enjoying area. Sooo much better than any chain hotel stay!

The service was a bit slow( our order wasn't put in the kitchen promptly)but the restaurant was quite full. Nice atmosphere. Great place for a friends evening out.

We’ve been here a number of times with both friends and family, including for Mother’s Day, and it’s always been a solid experience. The food isn’t trying to be anything overly fancy, but if you’re looking for a good pub-style meal that’s consistent and satisfying, you won’t be disappointed. The space is large and comfortable, which makes it great for groups or events and you never feel cramped or claustrophobic. Staff have always been friendly and welcoming as well. Overall, a very reliable family-friendly spot that we keep coming back to.

We ordered Fish & Chips, which tasted decent but lacked flavor. The coleslaw, chips, and tartar sauce were outstanding, offering plenty of taste. As seniors, we felt the chip portion was too large. The young lady serving us was polite, friendly, and pleasant. I highly recommend this place because every dish that passed our table looked incredible and appetizing.
