   This was my first poor experience. I’ve only eaten here twice before. The waitress kept asking us if the food we wanted was coming around, kept saying no and what we were looking for and it took a half hour for it to eventually come (after several asks). When we first sat down after visiting the salad bar, with the green card flipped up, it took over 15 minutes for me to get my first piece of meat. The meat that kept coming to us was a spicy meat and not a lot of variety. The fact that the waitress asked, we responded with what we wanted but then there was no follow through several times was very disappointing. Based off this experience, I’m honestly not sure we’ll be back.

   Service, ambiance, decor is excellent. Food is extremely over priced. However, the lack of fine dining establishments in the area will undoubtedly continue to have an appeal to this restaurant and until something more reasonable in price comes along will guarantee a clientele. But I believe it’s only a matter of time before the fad of overpriced food comes to an abrupt end. I hope I’m wrong; but if the deteriorating economy is any indication I fear I am not.

    Service was not god at all. We had to ask for things more than once. Also we hardly got meat to the table as we were in a corner and kept getting passed by. Made a point to push our green cards to corners for visibility but did not help. Was expecting much better service for a Mothers Day dinner.

    This was a lovely Mother’s Day dinner from my husband and my oldest son. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. It was a bit loud but still okay. There were 2 or 3 meats that didn’t make it to our table. But we were so full that it was sort of ook.

    Had a great Mother’s Day meal at Texas de Brazil. We had dined at the Yonkers location previously and decided to try the one nearest us in Fairfax. Because it was Mother’s Day, the restaurant was a bit crowded. The place is rather expansive with several dining areas. We were seated towards the rear of the restaurant in a separate dining area with several other tables. I would have preferred a seat in the main dining area, as our location was somewhat dark and remote. It was, however, a little quieter, so that was appreciated. Our waiter was pleasant and helpful (we did have to request more water on several occasions). The beef and chicken selections were limited, but were mostly tender and seasoned well. The pork, however, was dry and/or overcooked. The lamb was good. The salad bar was stocked well but did not offer a large selection of fruits and or pasta salad options, which was disappointing. I did appreciate the smoked salmon, lobster bisque, and other seafood options. They are a bit more expensive than other Brazilian steakhouses in the area, but I didn’t really see anything to justify the price difference. I may give this location another try, but on a different day - perhaps during the lunch hour.

    First time visiting. Very impressed with the quality of meats. Our server, Joshua made the experience even better. The only downside... I thought that the price of the desserts was a bit high and I thought the tables were too close together. Made it difficult to get to/from the Salad Bar.

    We love going to Texas de Brazil and usually have a good experience but the previous time to this time going there turned from a good dinner and conversation with friends to kinda annoying because the manager and another waiter kept asking us if we were doing ok or if we were finished with our plates. At first it was fine because we thought they were just checking for real but after few times it felt like they kept asking every 5 minutes and i guess wanted us gone. Not really a good way to show customer service specially when I made reservations and we are spending a decent amount. Really dissatisfied with the level of service this time around.

    Great concept for having perfect steak to your liking. I like the fact that you don't have to select ONE dish out of many and no chance of getting over or under done steak. Little pricey for how much I can eat but great food. Side dishes are very tasty as well. Ambiance is a bit noisy for a conversation but it's a beautiful, well run restaurant.
