Stoney River Steakhouse and Grill - Roswell
We went for a Father’s Day celebration. It had been over 15 years since we’d been there and were impressed with the decor and ambience. (both inside and out) Our server, Kelsey, was fantastic. She made sure our 94 yr old mother had a wonderful meal, while we enjoyed the rib-eye, and trout. Both were delicious and plentiful. (We Brought half home for later) We were surprised and touched when a piece of delicious chocolate cake was given to my husband in celebration of the day. We had a a very enjoyable time. (Lit candles on the tables ensured a relaxing experience)
Excellent restaurant. The service was professional, courteous and flawless. The food was impeccable. A great place to eat for a special occasion.
We have brunched at Stoney River on a few occasions. We like the quiet ambiance. Though busier than normal on Father’s Day, it was a nice visit and lunch. We had a minor mistake with one meal, but it was corrected with special attention. The pre-meal biscuits were delicious as was the quiche and salad. We recommend the Sunday brunch.
Very limited brunch menu. The ribeye was very thin and French toast was overly done and crispy. All other meals were very good.
Food overall was good. Server was prompt, friendly and attentive. We unfortunately ordered everything up front which meant the salads were coming before the hors d’oeuvres with the main course practically on the way. Asked our waitress to slow down the pace, which is why (I assume) my baked potato was lukewarm. Overall still a good experience. We will know better how to plan our orders.
One of my favorite places to eat in the Atlanta area.
Prime rib was extremely fatty
Love this place. The food is great and the staff is very attentive. Would recommend to anyone looking for a nice meal.
Terrible service did not even get to really try my food as my drink was empty for 20 mins
Best prime rib I have ever had, but this time i got a hamburger. Hamburger was very good and cooked to perfection.
Philip was a great server - Hannah the manager check on us to make sure everything was perfect.
Food was exceptional. The Birthday Girl really enjoyed herself!
The steak and biscuits were no good, very dry, no flavor. Coffee cured filet was good, but way too salty. The roasted Brussel sprouts were super salty too. Service was good. We’ve been multiple times before and it was good, but we don’t think we would go back. Thought it was a bit over priced for the overall experience. We have been to other nice steak houses that are not “chain” restaurants that have been less expensive and better.
Excellent meal and great service
An incredible dinner - the steak was perfect as was the au gratin potato and Brussel sprouts. The carrot cake was awesome.
A once high level 10 star restaurant has slip to fast food quality eatery. Felt sorry for our food server ( William) he didn't seem be available most of time., forgeting to bring ordered drinks and other things that our group requested poor backups that should have been helping him if he was a new hire. Maybe it was just poor management training. Loud music and having to ask other service people for help and so on. I could write more but really doesn't matter as we don't plan to come back
The food was excellent with the steaks prepared perfectly. The service is appropriately attentive without being intrusive. the carrot cake is a must-have every time we dine here.
Both of our servers were knowledgeable and attentive. The dinner was delish and done perfectly to our requests.
After dinner, we asked for take home containers. The server indicated she would box them for us. Unfortunately, she dropped my dish before boxing it up and came back to us, apologized, and said they were making me another steak to take home. Now, what great service is that!
I highly recommend Stoney River Steakhouse and Grill to anyone looking for great service, food, and ambiance!
Always a delicious meal. The service was great. The drinks were very tasty. Stoney River never disappoints us. Hope to be going back very soon.
The food was wonderful as was the service. I felt very comfortable there, able to enjoy our 46th wedding anniversary without a worry
Great place to take on special occasions. Food was outstanding and the service was A+.
Great food and excellent service! Little pricey but if you like steak it is worth it!
Amazing food and service! Great celebration for our son's graduation.
Best steak in town and the service is top notch. They really match quality food and quality service.
I was disappointed that they did not carry my favorite wine, moscato, so I ordered a margarita, which was very average. But, the food was very good.
Had family in from Ohio; my brother appreciates a great meal so we took them to our favorite restaurant. Needless to say we were not disappointed. Everybody had a wonderful time, they raved about the food and incredible service from our server Rachel! Heather took care of our seating as always and David stopped by to say "Hello". We ordered ribeye steaks, pecan trout, Cumberland salad, calamari, lobster bisque, and Trio of filet medallions. The carrot cake and key lime pie was an excellent choice for dessert. My family and neighbors are looking forward to eating at Stoney River Steakhouse again. Thank you for making the night so very special!
Sons birthday. He picked the restaurant. Service was very good. Vegetables a little salty. Broccoli could have been cut into smaller pieces. My wife had the Trout which was excellent and a very large portion. Steaks ordered medium. Could have had a little more flavor. Enjoyed the tuna avocado appetizer! Loved the rolls served before dinner. Stoney River switching away from Open Table to Resy. Did not receive Open Table points.
Wonderful dinner! Steak was perfectly cooked! Wish I would have not been so full as I really wanted to try the Creme Brulee!
Excellent food, nice atmosphere, excellent service! As good as other steak houses that are more expensive
Jmbb o bio II inimitable bui
Great food and great steak. Well worth the price.
I enjoyed the environment, service was good but food was only okay. My husband ordered a TBone and it had no flavor whatsoever. I had French toast, bread was soggy in the middle and hard on the sides. My son had steak and biscuits the steak was pretty tough. The Peach Bellini was the best part of my meal.
The French Fries were excellent and so was the Prime Rib was too. The rest of the meal was subpar. We went here for Mother’s Day which is usually a day when every restaurant is packed. This place wasn’t I wonder why? I don’t plan on returning ever.
Always a great experience. We've never left disappointed by the quality of service or food.
Brought my mom here for lunch for Mother's Day, we had a great lunch. The coffee crusted steak was so tender. Loved the 1 pound loaded potato!
The brunch was fair. Definitely over-priced for the quality food served. I have loved dinners at Stoney River, I just do not recommend for brunch.
So, they served biscuits for free but they were super dry. We were charged $18 for their “famous” steak and biscuits. Should have known something was up when they didn’t ask what temp. Inedible sandwiches with dry biscuits and little pieces of steak and a mountain of fries. No sauce, no gravy. Just dry biscuit, dry steak, massive plate full of fries. My daughter’s steak was under seasoned, dry and charred to the point of not tasting good. The steak Benedict was just okay, the least worst tasting thing we had. This cost was insane for the lack of effort from the kitchen.
Mother’s Day brunch
Honestly wasn’t very good. Was expecting an amazing meal for mother’s day and felt like this was a low class meal.
The servers were constantly hovering it didn’t feel like we could even have a conversation.
