   Tiny restaurant with good atmosphere despite uncomfortable seating. The appetizer was great, but the salad special and sampler platter were nothing special. Our waiter was impatient and inattentive. Arrived at 8:30. The dinner got to our table at 10. If you are looking for a cool place to have a cocktail and appetizer, go. If you want a pleasant dining experience, go elsewhere.

   This is a great favorite place and I will be back, but it wasn’t at its best today. Food overcooked. Phyllo tough, pork not tender. Zucchini fritters burned can’t believe they even served them. Friend said shiitake mushroom soup was excellent. Service is great. Got good takeout from the market

   Alex was such a great server and the food at Stella’s is always fabulous. Highly recommend the roast chicken and the mushroom saganaki!

   Food was phenomenal as always. Lamb Shank fell apart to the touch, halibut was perfectly cooked. Service was impeccable. And the Baklava a la mode was incredible I'm told.

    Everything was fantastic. Favorite app was the grilled octopus. The Pasta #5 was huge and enough for 3-4 servings! Good experience all around.

    First time and loved everything about our evening at Stella’s from a cocktail at the lounge next door, to our dinner, great cocktails and amazing service from Natalie (believe her name). We booked our next trip there that night when friends come to visit and will go quite often.

    My husband took me out for dinner and we had a terrific evening. The pasta was delicious. My husband loved the halibut. His tastebuds were loving all the new flavors! My goal was to get him to try something new! It was perfect. Our waitress was the best, she explained all the ingredients and that meant a lot to him. Thanks for a great Time Stella’s!

    Incredible, authentic Greek food and fabulous service! One of our best ever dining experiences in Richmond. We went for lunch on a Thursday. We made reservations although there was ultimately plenty of room at the bar (which is first come first serve) and at the communal table. Outdoor dining at small bistro tables on the sidewalk was also available. The ambience is lovely, quaint and classy. First we spoke with the bartender who suggested an off-menu white wine that we loved so much we ordered a bottle - Gavalas Assyrtiko. We were promptly seated and our server Darren was SO friendly and helpful with the menu. During our lunch we commented about how enthusiastic and happy all the servers were and how much they wanted to ensure we had a great meal. What an amazing and wonderful thing when your team members are engaged and genuinely proud to be a part of the organization. We had kreatopita (spiced beef in phyllo) with the absolute best tzatziki sauce ever! We also enjoyed the avgolemono soup and a side of sautéed Swiss chard (the veggie du jour). We commented to our server about how much we loved the wine and she told us that the owners had taken the entire team to Greece and she met the winemaker - saying it was the experience of a lifetime. And adding “and Stella’s is the closest to Greece you will get in VA, if not in the States.” We agree! Thank you for a fabulous experience!

    Appetizer was great, dessert was great, service was great. But, my lamb entree was definitely overcooked and dry. I was extremely disappointed in it! Additionally, food was warm, but not hot.

    Hate to say this, but I think Stella's may have peaked. Food was okay, and why are the "specials" always the same (e.g. Oysters Corfu??!!) Very loud. Service was half-hearted, and the pacing was rushed.

    Fabulous meal! There were four of us had the specials of the night. Three of us had the Halibut and risotto and the last person had the double pork chops. Everything was prepared perfectly and each meal was delicious! Our waiter was very nice and very efficient. We love coming to Stella’s!

    Loved my visit! Stella’s is my go to favorite restaurant in rva. All the food is delicious, the staff are beautiful and welcoming, and the atmosphere is cozy. Love it there!

    A wonderful birthday dinner with my mother and husband. We loved EVERYTHING - and ordered a lot. My filet was perfect, and melted in my mouth with generous portion of buttery lump crab topping. Always order dessert!

    This was my first time dining at Stella's (I've been to their markets tons of times), we went on Valentine's Day, and it was a 10/10 experience. From their cocktails to the flaming cheese to the Moussaki to the chocolate baklava, everything was INCREDIBLE!!! I will definitely be returning for other special occasions and date nights and would consider it one of the best restaurants in Richmond.

    Love this restaurant! The food never disappoints, however we were seated against the window and it was extremely cold. So cold that we were to the point of uncomfortable. We did ask the server about the coldness and we were told that Saturdays at the opening of dinner service is the coldest to sit near the windows and when the employees get there at 2:30 they crank the heat but it takes time to warm up. For paying on average per person $100 it should of not have been this uncomfortable cold. I am a big fan of this restaurant but sitting near the windows in winter was not a great experience.

    First visit to Stella’s! Loved it. The food, service and drinks ….awesome. Large helpings. Honestly two people can share an entree together. Best Old Fashion I’ve tasted. I will be going back.

    Had lunch with a friend. I’ve eaten at Stella’s many times and will return again. We did have a rather gruff waiter this time and it sure would be welcome if you would fix the front door do it doesn’t impale you when you try to open it.

    The food was exceptional. We enjoyed everything we ordered and while while we were full when we left, the quality ingredients didn’t make us feel weighed down. It was a delightful meal and we look forward to returning.
