    Last night was a very special evening with my wife and her parents, as they haven’t seen each other in over a year, plus it was her mother’s 50th birthday. So for this special night out, Steak44 was the natural choice. Our server, Frazier, was spectacular with his knowledge of the menu and flair of humor. He really made the night even more memorable. With regard to the food, it just doesn’t get any better than this: from the scrumptious and beautifully sautéed spicy shrimp appetizer, to the perfectly cooked and ever-so juicy Kansas City bone-in ribeye (unbelievable flavor and tenderness) and buttery-soft trio of filet’s, to the smooth and creamy corn bruleé and mashed potatoes, to the unbelievably luxurious ultimate dessert cake with that mountain of whipped cream -love it!- we were all in heaven and couldn’t stop talking about how absolutely amazing every single thing was. And let me tell you about this team -or rather symphony- of servers, bussers, helpers, assistants, etc.: they’re like a well-oiled, and meticulously-tuned machine…everyone works together in rhythm to quickly take care of each course and to make sure you have everything you need when you need it. The place was packed to the walls yet you never once felt like the staff was overwhelmed or falling behind; velvety smooth operation. Congrats to management and their exceptional leadership in making this special night out…perfect! There’s a reason why we keep coming back to Steak44: it just keeps getting better and better each time, which is hard to believe as it’s always a first class experience. I guess we can only keep adding pluses to that big, tall, proud ‘A’+++! Thank you very much Frazier, as well as the entire staff at Steak44. Well done, everyone! Pun intended. Bye now!

    Second visit and once again it was tremendous. Service very attentive. Best apps, sides and steaks. I have been to numerous steak houses from NY to Cali and this is up there in my top 3. I cant wait to come back. Joe Bonavico

    We booked a dinner for our anniversary. They called to ask what anniversary and really made it a special experience. Service was outstanding and truly the best we’ve ever had. I would recommend this play to anyone looking for an upscale and delicious dinner.

    Nicole and Jake were awesome servers, however Jake had to jump in when Elijah left dirty plates on our table for 25-30min, other than that it was perfect!! Nicole is always the best of the best lead servers.

    Evan our waiter was truly one of the best waiters I’ve had in a while, directed us on what was best to get and he was able to make sure to split the food onto 2 plates, because the servings are pretty big. Food was amazing, overall great experience.

    We were super disappointed. We had gone to Steak 48 in Chicago in September. It was the best dining experience we have ever had. We went for my birthday last night thinking it would be just as good. The service was lacking. We asked for butter after our steaks came to put on hot plate. By the time it came my plate was no longer hot. We ordered cappuccinos with desert. He said he never heard me (even though he repeated the order to me) so they never came. Will not be going back.

    I recently also ate at Capital Grille and Morton's, somebody told me about this place so I checked it out. Out of all 3 places Morton's mops the floor with everybody else steakwise, and for what I ordered Morton's was almost half the price of steak 44. With the prices of Steak44 I expected more from the food, and while the food wasn't bad or anything (my steak was undercooked and once I re-fired it at home it was pretty good) it did not meet the expectations of that venue and the price. Also, I am pretty sure that our dessert came from a grocery store bakery.

    Went for our 17 anniversary. The food was amazing, from the appetizer all the way to dessert, the waiters and the whole staff were on their A game, everyone was so polite and amazing. We got greeted by everyone on the way in and a happy anniversary and big thanks on our way out. Highly recommend! Def be going back.

    This restaurant is one of my favorites! It was very well lit for the holidays inside. Good choice in art as well. The service was phenomenal, the server was attentive. Great portions for the price, the quality of food was apparent in every single thing we ordered. The staff was friendly and addressed us by name. Valet was quick with taking the car, being patient in us collecting our things and also returning the vehicle in good condition.

    Steak 44 was just an average upscale steakhouse. No better and no worse. The drinks were unremarkable, so were the salads, steaks and sides. Certainly much better than your average mid priced steakhouse, but for just under $500 for two people out the door, not really impressed.

    The best food I’ve had in a really long time! This is my new favorite restaurant in Phoenix! For appetizers we got the calamari and the crispy shrimp devil eggs. My parents and I split the Tomahawk steak, crispy potatoes, and corn crème brûlée. To top it off we got the red velvet bread pudding and the warm vanilla caramel cake! It was all to die for! 10/10!

    The pace of our service was perfect. We started off with the meatballs & crispy deviled fried shrimp eggs - both were flavorful! Each entree was enjoyed in a timely manner. The service assistant was on top of it. Our server, Aaron was knowledgeable and highly recommended the house specialty’s in which we did order some of them. One being the Wagyu Ribeye, worth every cent! We had a special occasion and the staff provided a celebration card upon being seated and a complimentary dessert. We absolutely will return.

    Our waiter, Nick, was once again, superb. He is interesting, has good advice and always makes Steak 44 look good. Our food was tremendous. I had the 12 ounce filet. It was a great cut and was prepared to the perfect temperature. Our sides were as good as they have ever been. My old fashion was also very good. Overall, Steak 44 nailed it once again. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone. It's probably the best steakhouse I have been to in the United States.

    Steak 44 is a classy upscale steakhouse, the restaurant is warm and inviting with ambient lighting to set a positive and relaxed mood. The private cubes next to the kitchen provided views for guests where they could watch their food be prepared. The cubes were noise canceling with beautiful lighting and a burning candle for the romantic touch. All of the staff greeted us as we walked by which made it a very warm and inviting atmosphere. Our server Nick, went above and beyond to ensure our experience was amazing. He was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu items and made sure we received our items in a timely manner. Thank you Nick for assisting us in having a great experience! The food was prepared to perfection from the warm dinner rolls, to the Ceasar Salad, and the entrees. Overall, we had a great anniversary dinner and very much enjoyed the whole experience that Steak 44 offers.

    Gary was our server and he was excellent. The service was spot on between Gary and his assistant. The food was delicious. Gary had recommended two sides (Brussel sprouts and potatoes) which were delicious. My husband’s strip steak was perfect and I loved my ample portion of New Bedford Sea Scallops. Lastly we ended the meal with the Ultimate… a white cake with caramel and a mountain of whipped cream… a true treat that we will be dreaming of in the future.

    Food and service were excellent. It was very hard to enjoy ourselves. We were at table 306/1 (I asked). It may be the most uncomfortable table in the restaurant The air conditioning blows down the wall on one side of the table and makes you shaking cold. My wife and I wrapped up in our coats as best possible and asked the server to move us. She came back and said management had turned up the thermostat, but we were blown away again in 15 minutes. We kept saying we are very cold. Server kept asking management. Repeat repeat. Management doesn't know they need to fix the issue. We were sseated at 5:15 and given the worst table? We finally both moved into the aisle to sit at the end of the table. For $800 for four people, this place has gotten too greedy to take care of the ambiance?
