The overall service, especially the sommelier & the waitress, were outstanding, as was the food. The setting, right on Lake Como, is stunning. A must visit if in the area.

Great restaurant, excellent cuisine and beautiful environment

Outstanding service, especially Antonio (with glasses). Delicious risotto and beef “stew” And the desserts were especially exceptional, such as the reimagined rum cake. Very entertaining to watch the kitchen working through the wall.

We found Bottega Comacini Como through Open Table. We were thoroughly delighted with our choice! We sat outside under an umbrella, which not only added to the ambiance, but provided cover when it started to rain. My husband ordered the fried cheese as an appetizer, which had a light batter. His main course was the ravioli filled with ricotta cheese and blueberries, topped with a cherry tomato and raisin sauce. Delizioso! I had the lavarello, which is a locally caught white river fish. It was very light and tasty. I also tried the white wine from Domasino, which uses locally grown grapes from the Como region. The service was wonderful and the prices were reasonable. We highly recommend that you include a visit here on your next trip to Como.
