The restaurant experience here is always memorable in a good way. The menu has varied and well prepared options, most of which are also a good value. In our recent visit, the restaurant was quite, mostly because this is monsoon season in Tucson. No snowbirds, no students, just locals toughing out the wet heat. We had blackened salmon, prime rib sliders, house salad, mushroom soup, and a burger/beer special. It all seemed to evaporate without complaint. Oh, the brownie desert with ice cream was a delicious finish. It was half-price whiskey night, which we enjoyed. Our waitress, Wren, was exceptional. More

We always take our clients to Vivace and they are suitably impressed with the food and service. In fact, this month we are taking 3 different clients there. Daniel Scordato should have a rewards program for those of us who support his restaurant. More

Discover Tucson

Considering that Tucson is the birthplace of the chimichanga, it should come as no surprise that Mexican restaurants are prolific in this city. Tucson falls right on the edge of the Sonoran Desert, and the cooking style in the city represents what's popular throughout this desert region. Sonoran dishes are typically based on beans, corn tortillas, cheese, peppers, and meat. Of course, although Tucson is distinctly Sonoran, it is also American, and that means you're sure to find a melting pot of cuisines within the city. When you're ready to branch out from Southwestern fare, try seafood or steak. Thin-crust pizza hits the spot when you want a familiar dish, and to top off your meal, homemade gelato is a local favorite.
