We just returned from an anniversary trip to the San Juan Islands. Being off-season, many restaurant options are limited in December. But I am ever so grateful that Ursa Minor was open during our stay. It's located in a beautiful, quiet space and features some truly incredible dishes. The food is always excellent. The menu had changed somewhat and really limited on what shrimp dishes were available. Prior menu had more shrimp which my wife always likes. But the waitress was kind enough the have the cook make the garlic sauteed shrimp my wife likes. MoreOpenTable Diner -
New to OpenTable

We've been making kimchi and sauerkraut as Kraut Pleasers since June 2015. After searching for a better way to share our kimchi we explored ramen and udon noodle bowls. Serving them all winter at our Little Winter Market we then opened in the spring of 2017 as Setsunai Noodle Bar using our fermenting kitchen as the base. We’ve now moved the fermentation side of things over to our local shared access community kitchen, Taproot. We are in the heart of the village with plenty of parking and a local beach within site. We serve our bowls with both traditional Kimchi and Golden Napa for you spice wimps. We have dumplings with seasonal fillings and kid bowls with just noodles and broth. More
