    I’ll start by saying ..love this place ..however, I’d say for the service …each time I come the steaks have never been on point which is disappointing because they are a steak house so generally at this point we go to St. Elmo’s for drinks and the shrimp cocktail and head to Tony’s…If you want mediocre food , great service and great shrimp cocktail..this is the place..if you want a steak prepared properly or a restaurant that loves to create and strives to have a 5 star over all..check out other steak houses in the area

    It was my wife's 60th Birthday. Philip was our waiter what a fun night he made it. He was funny attentive and gave phenomenal service. Food was outstanding. We had a great time. Thank you Philip for making the night special for my wife.

    2 filets, 1 rubbed ribeye, 1 tomahawk steak, all perfect. The 2nd tomahawk steak, just awful (all tendons & gristle). We didn’t want to ruin the scene and say anything so we kept quiet. Very likely a one time flaw in that cut of steak. I’m sure they would have taken care of this had we spoke up. Shrimp appetizers, all sides & desserts were excellent. We knew we’d be late to our reservation, we called & there were no issues in seating us 15 minutes late. ALL staff were exceptionally nice. We dressed up to celebrate a birthday. Many other patrons were wearing sweats which surprised us but it didn’t affect the food or our celebration. This was our 2nd visit, still highly recommend and will go back.

    This iconic restaurant does not need an endorsement from me but WOW, will you get one!!! Everything about this restaurant was top notch; from being greeted at the door to the hostess to the young lady that seated us but most especially to Paige, our waitress. She elevated every aspect of our evening. This was the first time we'd been to this restaurant and I can assure you we will fly back from Maine just to have dinner at St Elmo's again.

    Wasn’t impressed with the service but the food saved the night. The steak, patatos was phenomenal. St Elmo’s cola and bourbon cake are must haves. For the price and reputation I expected a better experience.

    The wait staff is awesome. The food was very good. I love all the history on the walls. This is our second time there, first time seemed better probably cause it was our fist time. The bean soup seemed to be weird to serve but after we herd the story about how it came about and then actually taste it it was very good. I would definitely recommend it to everyone.

    The shrimp cocktail is great but otherwise this place is tremendously overrated. It’s a couple of long stories but suffice it to say they simply can’t cook a steak to the correct temperature. I seen medium rare come out absolutely raw and I’ve seen it come out medium well a number of times. And the room is terrible, it’s like you’re in a cave. Skip it.

    In the 10 years that I've been coming here, I've never had a bad meal. Last night, the table next to us were 3 gents who were overly obnoxious. Loud, Crass, and their bragging of who they are and what they do for a living coupled with the need for the rest of the restaurant to know who they are completely ruined the experience. Mark, our server was great though. He's been our server about 6 times now.

    Always a top shelf experience. Service is absolutely outstanding and the food quality is unrivaled. Obviously need to have the shrimp cocktail. My wife and I split the 38 oz Prime Rib, which they voluntarily sliced off the bone before delivering. Also this time, we had the side of mushrooms, and they were a perfect complement to the steak. I cannot say enough good things about this restaurant.

    Iconic must stop if you have never been to St. Elmo Steak House. Food and service are outstanding. The signature shrimp cocktail is a great starter and has incredible flavor. We had the prime rib and the flat iron cooked to perfection. This old-school dining is worth the price. Shout out to our waitress, Jessica, who did an excellent job from start to finish. If you stay at a hotel, ensure you have a refrigerator; you will likely have leftovers. Also, plan ahead and make your reservations well in advance.

    The steaks were great and Patrick did a fabulous job with service and recommendations. Certainly an evening to remember as a special dinner event. We enjoyed the Filet mignon and the Ribeye cooked to perfection.

    My wife and I ate at St Elmos for the first time last night. We were using a gift card so the food was basically free which was good. If I had actually paid as much as the the food is here, I would have walked away disappointed. Don't get me wrong, the food is good, but with how much they charge I expect the food to be great. To me, it wasn't great and you can save your money and get a better value somewhere else.

    This was our first time visiting, and won't be our last. Food was amazing, all 4 courses we had. Mark, our server, was an expert and did an outstanding job. Kudos to him. The ambiance was great and noise level was totally fine and expected. Overall, an outstanding experience for my wife and I on our anniversary. Ding'd the cost, but you get what you pay for and although pretty costly, it was TOTALLY WORTH IT.

    The food and service are as fantastic as ever, we love to eat at St. Elmo. Note: If you haven’t attended before, understand that it is a busy environment and seating is very close to other people. Conversation and ambiance isn’t personal so be prepared for it. Expect different levels of dress, from coat and ties to football jerseys on Colts game days. If you are looking for something private for a special occasion, or you expect a specific minimum dress code, you may want to consider another venue. It’s a high volume restaurant with moderate noise levels, but the food is absolutely delicious.

    The food was outstanding, very delicious. Our server was not very attentive. We had to ask for. more wine. He forgot my béarnaise sauce which I never got at all. Food was excellent but service could have been better.

    This was my first time eating here. I had heard so many great things I was excited to go. We were seated before our reservation time, it took a little while to get our drinks but nothing too crazy. The shrimp cocktail and the salad were amazing. I ordered a Porterhouse for my entree. I expected it to be amazing for over $70. I have had more tender, flavorful steaks at Texas Roadhouse. The steak was hard to cut, and dry. There were 3 steaks ordered at our table and none of them lived up to the reputation. My steak was terrible and the mashed potatoes that came with my steak were cold. It was a very expensive meal that did not come close to what I had hoped for.

    I receive a gift of $250 with a printout I did not have a copy of a gift card. After discussion with the waitress and a manager I put the $360 charge on my credit card tomorrow I was told to call the corporate office and see if I can get a credit on my credit card. The lady that gave me the gift is 81 years old and did not know that she would have to print out a gift card. Hopefully we can get this resolved.
