   Best Caesar salad I’ve ever had. The 10 oz filet was cooked perfectly and paired well with Malbec. The mac and cheese was creamy and delicious as was the creamed spinach. Excellent meal and great service. Highly recommend.

   It’s a nice steak house, the food was very good and our server was also great. Ambiance was the least favorite thing, as it does very much feel like a hotel restaurant rather than a true high end steakhouse. There’s a continual flow of hotel guests walking back and forth in front of the windows, etc.. the table settings are nice enough though. That’s a little disappointing considering the price is high end steakhouse but its overall still very nice. Server was very good, attentive and with a great attitude. There is a higher level of service at most high end steakhouses, like unfolding & placing the napkins, removing crumbs from table, etc that wasn’t present here but they did clear used plates quickly, etc. Overall it was very good and was nice to not leave the hotel and still have a nice dinner. The value was decent.

   My wife and I came to have a little date night while we were on vacation in Orlando. As we sat down, the server was incredibly rude and started pulling away our wine glasses while saying "well you don't look of age" before even greeting us. My wife and I are well over the legal drinking age and the presumption of the server was off-putting and an unwelcome start to the meal. We ordered a beer and a glass of wine. The server spilled the beer as she was pouring it and did not clean up the mess. We also both ordered steak: mine medium-well and my wife's medium-rare. Neither steak came out to the preferred level of doneness. It seems like the server switched our preferences. The mashed potatoes were the one dish we got that was a true highlight for this meal. For a $200+ meal for two, this was an incredibly disappointing experience and we will not be returning. I expected much better service and food.

   Our server was fantastic (sadly we forgot her name) She was nice and attentive. The food was delicious. We've been there many times and service is always 10/10. The only disappointing thing is that I had called hours before our reservation to ask about the restaurant dress code since one person in our group didn't bring dressy pants to our last minute weekend getaway, so the guy on the phone said "no one allowed to wear shorts in the restaurant" (we weren't surprised since we are familiar with some restaurants strict dress code). I proceeded to change the reservation to 2 guests instead of 4 because the other couple weren't allowed in. However, after we sat at our table, we noticed MANY people wearing shorts and even workout attire. Management... I suggest you get everyone on the same page when it comes to that :)

    The food was very good but very pricy. ( $100 / 1 diner main and side with water to drink )Everything a la carte and the portions were large. For a Hotel restaurant where it is not possible to take home leftovers it would be nice to offer some small plate options. Otherwise a diner would be wasteful if they a ordered ready courses (appetizers, salad, main, sides, dessert)

    Other reviewers have noted the service is exceptional at Spencer's, and I must concur. I had been at a conference all week, lots of conversations, networking, attending talks and my brain was tired. Omar B. was my server, and when he asked what brought me in to dine with them, I let him know I just needed to decompress and he was kind, attentive and measured the service (meaning: was not rushed) to perfection! While it was a lively scene (lots of chatter from other tables) it created a nice ambiance. The food was wonderful as well - the wagyu carpaccio and seared scallops were perfection!
