It was my birthday and there wasn’t anything special. Everywhere else I go, they give you a little sorbet or a little something with happy birthday on it. It wasn’t even acknowledged my friend told the waiter and the people in the front and it was added to our reservations. We were set upstairs, which is not my favorite spot. I had a bad allergic reaction to the chicken curry. My face was red and burning. Such a disappointment. I still always love to celebrate my birthday at Soba but I think I’ll be looking for a new place.

Another great experience with a Big Burrito Group restaurant. Our first time at SOBA and it exceeded our expectations. Wonderfully created food was all the more enjoyable the attentive but not overbearing service of Matthew (thanks). We are already planning our return visit - can't wait !!

OMG - the Spicy Pork Lettuce Wrap - that dish has ALL the flavor! The Teriyaki Glazed Scottish Salmon was perfect and my friend's Crispy Branzino was amazing. Love the ambiance and the service was wonderful.

Soba was a revelation. We eat at a lot of Modern American and Italian restaurants, but not a lot of Asian restaurants. It is nice that there are a variety of asian influences in the food and that the restaurant is elegant and comfortable. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. The service was great.

Another great meal at SOBA! Started with chicken bao buns for me and California roll for my wife. Bao buns are like the best hot fried chicken sandwich you'll ever eat. California roll is particularly good because they use real crab. We then had the Halibut and the Salmon - both were outstanding!

Every thing was delicious, only the Drunken Noodles was very salty. When I told me waitress this noodle dish very salty, she just said “ok” then left…. That was very disappointed.

Had another great meal at Soba. From the time you walk in until you leave everything is awesome. Food is well prepared and tasteful and the staff is some of the best in the Burgh as is the management. Will continue to return to one of the best in the Burgh.

It's bewildering how Soba stays so consistently good, while remaining fresh and spontaneous. No shortage of appealing menu items along with outstanding cocktails and sake selections. This was my third visit in about 3 months and I'll be back again before long.

The food and ambiance were great. We felt very rushed by our waitress. She was at our table every 2 mins. I love this restaurant however this really turned us off. When people go out for a nice dinner let them enjoy their food and experience. Not rush them out of the door.

I have been waiting quite a while to enjoy a dining experience at SOBA as I have only heard wonderful things about the cuisine, bar selections, and service from many gastronautic friends. My girlfriend and I opted to sip some lovely sake alongside a few of the dim sum and small plate options. Our waitress made absolutely spot on recommendations for the sake pairings to compliment the tuna tartare, braised short rib eggrolls, double salmon roll, and beef skewers. I was particularly fond of the eggrolls which were tender, held together, and were not greasy in the least! The decor was tasteful and the lounge atmosphere made for a relaxing pre-concert meal!

first, our server Ashley was fantastic! she went above and beyond, she was able to explain every dish and answered all our questions; we were a bit "slow"making our choices and then sticking around to chat! as always the food was great; I always get the seared rare tuna ahi - I had been looking forward to it for a couple of weeks; and SOBA had a dessert that hit my chocolate sweet spot - 3 chocolate ice creams with chocolate on the side; we had a glass of Prosecco and it was fairly priced; everyone else liked their entrees too

Parking attendants are great, our server was great and the staff was great. Getting our drinks took a bit too long but otherwise couldn’t have been a better experience. One of our favorite places!!
