Single Shot (Seattle, WA) Had a free night in Seattle and as soon as I saw this restaurant from the outside, I knew I had to visit it! The ambiance is perfect, the video doesn’t do it justice but it’s perfectly dim here! For drinks I had the 611 Sling, which had banana cream, passion fruit, grapefruit, orange etc! This cocktail was so good, I actually can’t imagine a better fruity cocktail!! For appetizer I had the Hamachi Crudo, which also came with blood orange! This is one of the best crudos I’ve ever had, the hamachi was super fresh and everything blended together perfectly!! Next up I had the crab risotto!! This was incredible, perfectly creamy and you could definitely feel the crab at the exact amount you should! Next up for dessert I had the cheesecake, which came with this strawberry compote, and it was perfect!! Single Shot is a gem of Seattle. The food on the menu is from personally sourced vendors selected by the owner. Each time the menu varies slightly, but is consistent enough that you know your favorites will be there. It is excuisite and you feel like you've really had a special dining experience. Single Shot is our favorite place to dine, to give gift certificates for, to take out of town guests. The food is reliably excellent and imaginative, the service warm and personal, the place cozy and inviting. We'll be back there soon again.

Service was nice. Place was clean. Honestly, probably a nice place overall but it was absolutely freezing inside, the menu didn’t mention very key ingredients in things (bleu cheese, walnuts, chicory, arugula) that completely altered overall dishes and would have prompted two of us to order something else - glad none of us have allergy concerns.

Rory the owner is attentive, very personable. Jason is an awesome bar tender and great guy! Amy is also super friendly, great server. Food is amazing no matter what you get. The whole place is worth a visit. We are regular’s and feel lucky to have such a place to go to thats’s within walking distance.
