The space is as appetising as the menu. Situated on the third floor of the Hotel, Sika's dramatic floor-to-ceiling glass windows take full advantage of the breath-taking views of the Sugar Loaf Mountain.

There is no better place to soak up the sunshine and enjoy the views of the Sugar Loaf Mountain as the weather gets warmer, as Sika Terrace is open for all day dining during the summer months.

We had a fabulous meal. The food was incredible and the service outstanding. Many thanks to Monica for being so helpful and guiding us through the menu particularly around food allergens which meant piece of mind so that we could enjoy the dinner.

I wrote a bad review about lunch in Sika a few weeks back. Now I take it all back. Last night was one of the best meals we have ever had in Sika. It was accompanied by outstanding service by our server Daniel who was incredibly attentive, detailed and very very polished. Well done Sika.

The service was slow food was nice but not great for the price.It seemed a lot of tables were looking around trying to the the waiter’s attention. Breakfast was very disappointing very busy staff running around trying to accommodate everybody. We ordered tea/coffee and toast but by the time we received it our breakfast was gone and when it did arrive it looked like we had gotten a left over pot of tea as it was cold and only 1 cup of tea in the pot and the toast was cold and rubber like.

I use Sika a lot over the years and it has always been good, sometimes spectacular. This was a business lunch. Restaurant was mainly empty. Service was slow enough for a lunch setting. Food was poor - we both had salmon with Asian greens. Salmon was overcooked with an unpleasant taint and the Asian greens were not nice or indeed varied. Sika can do much better than this.

Hostess wasn’t very pleasant, our table was at the door, very cold asked could we have a different table , she showed her disgust, told us we’d have to wait 10-15 mins for a different table , we had to ask if our table was ready even though other diners were just arriving and shown straight to their table , when seated nobody asked us if we wanted anything, eventually somebody arrived , the wine we choose was not available, starter was tiny , my husband mains the cod was tiny and undercooked, steak was two slices , decided to skip dessert as atmosphere was dull , found the sally gap lounge which helped improve our mood , would have preferred to dine there

The ambience is wonderful, a beautiful dining room with a fabulous view, while it is still daylight; the service is both friendly and professional… The lamb and steak were perfectly prepared…the dessert was melt in your mouth quality. And, surprisingly, the wine that we ordered, and loved!, was reasonably priced by restaurant standards.

Best meal of our trip to Ireland, and that's really saying something bc we had good food almost everywhere. The mint & pea soup, duck, lamb, and local honey dessert were all impeccable & everything else we received was also great. The service was attentive & paced beautifully, but not intrusive, and very considerate of the allergy I disclosed when we made the reservation. It was very quiet & a lovely experience since we went for a bit of an early dinner by European standards & the hotel property didn't seem too packed overall.

The atmosphere is nice, service is good but the food was average. Our main course arrived cold with hot side dishes. Very expensive for what it is. Not nearly as good as it used to be.

Bearing in mind the the cost (75 euros) for a a set menu our experience was poor. Staff are friendly but we had to ask for bread ( no choice offered unlike other tables) main course was cold ( was replaced as was partners without an issue and offered complimentary drink) Starters and Desserts were high quality, no amuse bouche ( odd) but very pleasant petit fours with coffee. All in a mixed bag

Very pleasant evening. Service was impeccable. Disappointed that for a set menu costing €75 per person, there were three different types of moose on the dessert menu. One would think that there would be more diversity in options, particularly for those of us who don't enjoy moose. Otherwise, a very enjoyable experience.

Wonderful food and service. We are Americans and not accustomed to two hour meals, so it takes a bit long for us. But Eva, our waitress, was awesome. Loved the food.

Enjoyed a tasty burger with Ballymaloe relish. No problem swopping sweet potato for regular chips. Would have preferred a jug of water at table instead of having to ask for small glass to be filled. Price of cappuccino expensive - but nice coffee.

We had a booking at the Sika restaurant yesterday afternoon to celebrate my daughter’s 21st birthday. We chose this location as we previously celebrated a couple of family events here, such as Holy Communions and Confirmations. We also stayed for a couple of nights in April 2022 as a small treat. Overall our experience at the Sika restaurant yesterday was very pleasant, staff were extremely helpful and professional, food was fantastic and surroundings were beautiful.

The food was lovely but 24eur is a bit steep for a burger. We also had to ask for water refills which, given the amount of staff, I thought would be done as glasses were emptied. The other issue I had was that plates were cleared as and when a member of the group had finished. This is not usual, you should wait until all finish before clearing plates. It made us feel we were being rushed

Had Lunch from their Ala Carte menu and the selection was limited and the food was below average for a 5 Star hotel specially as a Four Seasons Autobiography one. Ordered Salmon for main and it was very dry and below par in taste. Desert was lovely and the Wine selection was amazing 👏 Hope they improve the quality of food as the location is breathtaking and the hotel itself is to die for...
