Sarabeth's Central Park South
“Not just for Brunch.” "Not for many, many years now, and certainly not on Central Park South,” comments Frank Bruni of the New York Times about our wonderful dinner menu. Join us for an evening meal and reverse your thinking - Sarabeth's for Dinner.
Dock's Oyster Bar and Jane are the sister restaurants to Sarabeth's.
Was looking for a new restaurant for my regular trips to NYC. This showed up on a list near Central Park. I was pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere and the quality of the food. Service was excellent. Great place to eat that is reasonably priced for NYC.
2 of 3 people got sick from the food, and it was nothing special.
Loved loved your waffles. Service great. Entire staff wonderful. Nice and smily.
So disappointed! I had read such wonderful reviews of the food and ours was terrible! Maybe it was just this location?!! My daughter got the pancakes they were served COLD! How the heck does that happen unless you are food prepping and food prepping pancakes seems ridiculous! My eggs Benedict were also cold and not even warm like they might have been sitting under a heating lamp.. totally COLD! I had two bites and that was it for me, oh and )100 later I left hungry! Will not go back.
Food great, but no recognition for my sons 2nd birthday
Had breakfast here to celebrate a birthday and the whole experience was wonderful
Enjoyed a delicious breakfast and great service at Sarabeth's Central Park. The pancakes and omelettes were delicious and brought to our table in a reasonable amount of time. Our server was courteous and serviced our needs efficiently. The restaurant was quite full of customers so reservations in advance is a must. We highly recommend Sarabeth's Central Park for an enjoyable meal.
We stopped here for a nice dinner before going to the ballet. The service was wonderful and our food was delicious. My fiancé ordered from the prix fixe and I ordered the swordfish special. The portions are pretty substantial and the presentation is beautiful. I would recommend this restaurant to any of my friends.
Friendly service. Good food a bit expensive recommended and would go back
I eat breakfast at Sarabeth's every time I'm in New York. It never disappoints.
Very kind staff. Amazing food. Complimentary prosecco for our anniversary. Thank
Are food was fine, just not worth $70 for 2. Found much better choices.
Granddaughters name is SaraBeth and this was her first New York visit
I have always enjoyed Sara Beth's when I come to NYC. This week, I was there with two grand children, so the seven year old needed the child's menu. I was grateful for this choice. This is just a small criticism: when asked if he wanted ham on his grilled cheese, I would have liked to have been informed that the cost was extra. Same with the truffle fries: the 14 year old would have still chosen, but I would have liked to have known the charge was an additional one. I will continue to use Sara Beth's as one of my favorite places--especially for brunch.
Marvelous place! Kid friendly, clean, chic and delicious food! Pancakes, frittatas, hollandaise eggs are all good! Highly recommend!
Great experience for late lunch/early dinner. Had the turkey burger and it was very tasty but the highlight was the blueberry peach tart, delicious!
Excellent but very$$$
Restaurant was great! Have no complaints except the menu was a little pricey for no reason other than the address. Food and Service were good.
The lemon ricotta pancakes and crabcake benedict were both outstanding. Service was quick and friendly. A bit pricey but so are most other places like that in the area.
Lovely setting opposite Central Park. UBER nice spot for breakfast . Great interior ambience and atoms-here. Enjoyed the breakfast , good diversity and choice . Not extravagantly expensive for this Side of town in NY
Great brunch, as usual!
It was my wife's birthday and our waiter brought a little birthday cake for the occasion – nice attention!
Sarabeth's is one of the restaurants that I must eat at when I am in New York City. To me, it's just not a completely satisfying vacation without eating at Sarabeth's. This is the second time I've eaten at the Central Park South location. I purchased a jar of the strawberry/raspberry jam to take back home, and I bought it in the bar area. If I'm remembering correctly, on my first visit to this location, there was a pastry case with muffins and several different kinds of jam available for sale. I was disappointed to not find that on this visit. In fact, the bar only had one variety of jam for sale. A minor point, I know, but I'll return to the Madison Avenue location on my next trip.
This place is known for breakfast, but we went for dinner, and the food was excellent.
I went to Sarabeth’s twice; once for dinner and once for breakfast. I was disappointed because I remember it being a lot better a few years ago.
We got the feeling they wanted us gone as soon as possible so we’d free up the table for the next round.
It was a great experience. Great food.
We'r went on a busy Friday morning. Service was excellent, my water was constantly refilled, easier was polite and attentive. Food was very good, but not 5 stars...very good, not great. Avocado toast didn't have a lot of flavor. Other items were very good, like short rib hash.
Early dinner on a friday weekend in NYC. Food quality fantastic with perfect service. We had a great window seat overlooking Central Park ( early dining). Couldn’t say enough good. First Time. Sorry I didn’t
Buy the cookbook.
Great food, good ambiance, a little noisy, but ok. Good to people watch if you sit in windows or outside. Conviently located on Central Park south.
Great food, service and atmosphere! We make it a “for sure” visit when we come to New York from Texas.......thanks Sarabeth!
Great French toast and even better bacon. Great place for breakfast.
Food was good, but we were ignored most of the time & had to wave down servers for water refills
Visited for a celebratory graduation lunch. Service and ambiance were great. My family enjoyed the prix fixe which included salad, skirt steak and dessert. Meal was fabulous - steak was done perfectly, fries were so tasty and the creme brûlée was to die for. Would definitely visit again!
Treating my grands to a delicious brunch
Great restaurant, good food, and good kids menu. Great stop by Central Park.
The overall restaurant was pretty. However it was extremely empty for a Saturday night. The food came out super fast and appetizer wasn’t finished when the entree was brought out. The steak was dry and didn’t have much flavor to it. Overpriced and quality food was just ok.
We had delicious food and great service! Adora was a great waitress
