   Our first time at Salute for brunch. The menu choices were excellent. Service started out strong, but didn't finish that strong. The food was very good. Crab, asparagus omelet, hash and eggs and french toast were ordered at our table.

   We wanted to come back here, since last time there was a corporate event at the same time we were there and it was a bit chaotic and very noisy. This time, the ambiance was nice and the food was good, but the service was terrible. We waited a very long time for our Fl food, the waitress never came back to rep our water or our wine and we finally had to pull over a passing waitress to handle our bill after waiting 15 minutes to pay. Something to keep in mind when you visit.

   This month’s feature menu is from South America. Don’t love our table back in the corner by the barbershop but they are busy. Start with an Avocado Naan with fresh avocado, roasted red onion, smoked corn, bacon, chives, and red pepper aioli. Comes out quickly, is loaded, and is very good, note the naan breads are always very good. The Brazilian Cheese Bread, gouda, Manchego, and parmesan cheese sauce is very tasty but not like the Brazilian cheese bread we have had in Brazil. The Beet Salad with baby kale, goat cheese, pistachios, and orange citronette dressing is enjoyed. For mains the always good Salmon 'Succotash', seared salmon, roasted garlic white bean puree, sautéed asparagus, bacon, fire roasted corn, onions, jalapeno, and blood orange persillade, is cooked perfectly and delicious. Also consistently good is the Braised Short Rib with a delicious mushroom risotto, broccolini, and red wine reduction, yum. Finally, from South America, a Brazilian Farofa Crusted Strip Steak with fried yuca, chimichurri, feijao tropeiro (onion, garlic, chorizo, collard greens & beans). A large piece of beautifully seasoned steak, the fried yuca is fantastic, and the chorizo, beans and collard side is wonderful and nicely spiced. Mallory provides nice service in a restaurant we love coming to for its wonderful food.

   We had lunch and we’re very happy with all the meals except the muscles. The citrus level didn’t work with the cream based sauce.

    Have been thing there for years and have never had a bad meal. Staff is always friendly and welcoming. Food is always delicious especially when they have their special menu. Live music was great.

    We went for Sunday Brunch and the offerings are truly unique and delicious. Our server, Chloe, was outstanding and very personable which made the whole afternoon very enjoyable.

    We went last night and planned to stay for dinner but left after our drinks arrived. It took 20 minutes for water and an hour to finish our drinks. I know everyone is short staffed so we were patient but we ended up having dinner next door and had great service.

    We went on a Sunday and the Honda classic was going on so they were busy. With that said, we were seated promptly. Waited for like 10 minutes and then flagged down a waitress and asked her if she could send us someone to service our table. She was nice enough to do so and bring us water while we waited for her. We then had Chloe take care of us and she was very sweet. She took our order down right away, and brought our drinks shortly thereafter. Unfortunately the bloody Mary's were really not drinkable. My husband returned his and I felt to bad I kept mine, but didn't drink it. The food was okay. We started with the deviled eggs, and truthfully the bacon saved them. If you were to remove that, they would be super bland. We have the stuffed dates, and those were awesome. The marinated olives were just olives. I have no idea what they mean with marinated, do they mean oil? Because if so, that's standard. You could just say variety of olives, because they were but marinated is a stretch. They're in their preservative of oil. It's not marinated with rosemary, juices or spices. So that was a bit misleading. I had the crab omelette and it was super yummy with real crab, not imitation crabmeat. Husband had the bowl and a friend had the pork belly waffle. They loved it. A few things caused the low star rating: 1. the bloody Mary's weren't good, hey were pretty gross to be exact it was like drinking shrimp cocktail sauce2. we waited a while before we got help, once we got food, 3. we had no silverware and food before us cooling off, 4. no condiments came with food, like ketchup, salt and pepper not on the table, so we kept having to ask and bother someone to bring to us because it wasn't there. On a positive note, they had a live DJ so it gave it a really nice party feel and made it feel lively. However, little things keep it from being a 5 star establishment.

    Good service, reasonable pricing, imaginative food preparation. A plethora of outside seating......but the restaurant needs to buy individual LED lighting for outside tables like the next door restaurant. Can't read the menus without our mobile phones.

    We were a party of 6 and enjoyed our cocktails and hummus as well as deviled eggs. The entrees were over cooked or stayed too long in the warmer window. The service was wonderful. We will return for the wonderful humus and deviled.

    From Paris with love feature menu this month. Chloe our server could not have been any better, delightful, upbeat, attentive service, a joy to have her as our server. The French onion soup was full of onions and cheese. The Coq Au Vin had wonderful slow roasted chicken, with roasted garlic mashed potatoes, mushrooms, pearl onions, carrots, bacon and a delicious sauce, a very full plate.  The Tartiflette, potatoes, bacon, onion, cream, white wine, and brie, was a delicious new experience. The Chicken Cordon Blue ham, gruyere cheese, béchamel was moist and delicious. The Salmon Succotash, and Braised short rib from the regular menu are consistently good with perfectly cooked salmon and melt in your mouth tender short ribs. A wonderful meal, with fabulous service in a great outdoor setting.

    We visited last Friday night and everything was great so we decided to give brunch a try. Worst decision ever! Maybe we were lucky last Friday!?! Food came out cold and looking like it had been sitting in the expo for quite a while with no heat lamps. Service was poor to say the least. Runners would just through the food at us with out doing any service and providing small plates. Very disappointing experience.

    I have been here many times and the food is always wonderful. Usually the drinks and the service are outstanding also. Not tonight. The drinks were watered down and service was not so great this time around. It was hard find our waitress, some orders were forgotten and late in coming, water and drinks were left unfilled and required prompting from us. Hopefully this was just an off night.
