Amelia Island

About the restaurant

The Louisiana French Creole use the term “lagniappe” to describe something that’s “a little something extra,” and that's exactly what chef owner Brian Grimley knows it takes to transform a dish from mere food into an experience you never forget. Inspired by the culture and flavors of New Orleans, Charleston and Savannah, Chef Grimley's Lagniappe- Amelia Island combines the traditions of the French Creole with unique twists on Southern culinary staples using only the freshest local ingredients. And should you wish to elevate your experience by imbibing one of the many cocktails on the menu, you'll choose from a range of both classic and new wave cocktails inspired by the eclectic spirit of the South.

Amelia Island

About the restaurant

Coast will undergo a thoughtful transformation, introducing refreshed dining spaces, an enhanced bar and lounge experience, and a sophisticated design inspired by Amelia Island's natural beauty. Drawing inspiration from driftwood, sea oats, coastal textures, and the island's storied shrimping and maritime traditions, the reimagined Coast will offer a warm and welcoming atmosphere that remains true to its beloved identity and longstanding commitment to Southern coastal cuisine.

Guests will also discover a new semi-private dining area designed for intimate celebrations, family gatherings and special occasions. Upon reopening in December 2026, Coast will once again serve as the setting for many of the resort's most cherished traditions, including the annual gingerbread house display, holiday teas, Christmas celebrations, seasonal dining experiences, and New Year's festivities.

The breakfast buffet was spectacular, but what really stood out was the “omelet chef”, I believe his name is Oden. He is passionate about making an omelet into a culinary creation. Greta job!
