This is the second time we've been to Truffles. The first time was over 20 years ago and it was not pleasant due to some rude staff. A polar opposite this time around. What a wonderful experience!! One of the best steaks I've ever had...and it's not even a steakhouse! Great char on the steak....sides were wonderful and the staff was top notch. It was very loud, as it was completely full...and the tables are very closer together. Just an FYI for some diners. Will definitely return to Truffles!!

About the restaurant
Café Napoli is a family owned restaurant, established in 1989 by Tony and Kathy Pietoso. Quickly becoming a success, they moved the small basement restaurant to a larger location at the corner of Forsyth and Bemiston in the heart of Clayton. In 2003, sons Ande and Kye expanded their family restaurant by adding Bar Napoli, a swank cocktail lounge. A few years later, Napoli Reserve was added onto Bar Napoli allowing for private event space and an additional bar and lounge for the weekends. After years of a flourishing business, Kathy and Tony decided to take their ventures West to Town and Country where they opened their second location, Napoli2, managed by Ande. Kye has taken the reigns from his father and is now the front man for the 8,000 square foot establishment in Clayton. Café Napoli and Bar Napoli have recently undergone a face lift inside and out. Inside the kitchen, Executive Chef from Napoli2 Jon Berger was recently added to the team, bringing fresh ideas and innovation to the regional Italian specialties.

Maplewood
About the restaurant
Gamlin's is a modern Italian chophouse in the heart of Maplewood, built around the idea that great restaurants are about more than great food—they're about the people around the table.

Our menu brings together hand-cut steaks, house-made pastas, fresh seafood, seasonal ingredients, and a thoughtfully curated wine, cocktail, and whiskey program. Everything coming from our kitchen is made with intention, using premium ingredients, traditional cooking methods, no seed oils, and beef tallow for frying. Vegan and gluten-free options are available.

But what matters most to us is how you feel when you're here.

We wanted to create a place where you can slow down, enjoy a great meal, celebrate life's milestones, or simply gather with friends over a great cocktail. A restaurant that's refined without feeling formal. A place where the service is warm, the atmosphere is welcoming, and you're just as comfortable stopping in on a Tuesday as you are celebrating an anniversary.
