It was our first visit to Calvo Loco Exmouth and I couldn’t fault it. Warm welcome, delicious food and even though we were first there as it was for lunch, didn’t miss out on atmosphere. Will definitely book again.

Really lovely Sunday roast with family. We had a gluten free member of our party who was really well catered for. It was so refreshing for them to have such a good experience eating out and we'll definitely return. The meat was so tender, portion sizes were very generous, enormous yorkshires and we were given the option of more vegetables and/or gravy which we appreciated (but did not need!) In terms of ambience there was a background hum of chatter that was in no way intrusive as the tables are well spaced. Service was swift and efficient, we had a little confusion over our preorder but it was quickly clarified and sorted. Would recommend for a quality roast dinner in a traditional pub atmosphere.

Lovely lunch at a fantastic local pub. All food was tasty and plentiful and arrived relatively quickly considering for a Thursday lunch time, the pub was busy (which shows the quality of the place).

In the heart of the East Devon countryside, surrounded by acres of farmland, you'll find the award-winning Greendale Farm Shop and it's family-friendly café & restaurant. The Greendale Farm Shop Café and Restaurant is much loved by visitors and locals alike. We offer a new extensive menu, created around many of the items sold in our shop and showcasing local produce from our farm and fishing boats. Vegetarian and gluten-free options are no problem and we have a children's menu for the little ones, too. We offer breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as tea and coffee, delicious cakes and Devon cream teas.

Once you've eaten why not take a stroll along our family farm trail. The trails follow a level path that’s just right for pushchairs and little legs where you can say hello to all of the animals, including Oscar the Ostrich.

Pho Exeter is a healthy Vietnamese restaurant with loads of vegan and gluten free options.

We specialise in phở, the Vietnamese noodle soup and also serve delicious curries, rice dishes, wok-fried noodles, and fresh salads too. Our starters such as summer rolls and spring rolls are perfect for sharing with friends and family. We also offer an entirely gluten free dessert menu with dishes like Pandan waffles, condensed milk ice cream and a Vietnamese affogato.

Over a third of our menu is vegan, and nearly all of it is gluten-free, so we are a great destination for people who follow those particular dietary restrictions. We are also accredited by Coeliac UK.

The pub had kindly let us use their toilet on our way to holiday, and I instantly thought it looked like a lovely pub, so looked it up when we arrived and booked in for Sunday Lunch. The roast was superb, generous portions, beautifully cooked. Lovely helpful staff, quick service and all needs catered for. Plenty of room on our table, good kids menu and activity sheet. Everything clean and comfortable.
