Chef's Table is an award-winning intimate modern British restaurant in Chester, offering a contemporary dining experience focused on fresh, seasonal cuisine, high-quality produce and flavour. Our menus change every 4-6 weeks to reflect what's growing on our farm in Daresbury, alongside ingredients from across the globe that inspire our cooking and menus.

Superb. Beautifully cooked food. All 3 courses jam packed full of wonderful flavours and quality ingredients. Jess was very welcoming and helpful. No where else in Chester can compare to the standard of cheffery.

Giovanni’s is an absolute must for connoisseur’s of Italian food. Our staff have worked in the finest restaurants across Italy; so you’re truly guaranteed an unforgettable Italian dining experience, in both food & service.
Our restaurant is housed in the beautiful Grade II listed building formerly known as the Old Post Office, on King Street in Knutsford. Richard Harding Watt influenced the town’s architecture by delivering a little piece of Italy for everyone to appreciate, up and down King Street, notably in the design of the memorial tower overlooking Giovanni’s.

Situated within Chef's Table, the Lounge (previously Twenty Eight Lounge) is a relaxed drinking and dining space with a full service restaurant menu - whether you're popping in for happy hour and a few small plates, or settling in for a long and leisurely evening over dinner.

On the lighter side, you'll find refined snacks and seasonal small plates, indulgent fare including our wagyu burger, fried chicken with caviar, and lobster frites alongside salads and an 'on toast' menu using our own freshly baked bread and our twist on the classic club sandwich.

Equally suited to a spontaneous drink, a relaxed catch-up over food with friends, or an intimate date night, the Lounge also makes the perfect stop before or after dining at Chef’s Table next door.

My wife and I had an excellent a la carte meal here yesterday evening. The food was delicious - special mention for the calamari , lasagne , roasted cod and tiramisu. The service was efficient and friendly. We will return.

Apart from our table not being ready and my soup being luke warm which was rectified, we had a lovely meal. The quality of food was very good and the staff were polite and helpful.

The food is so well presented and tasty. We had a variety Tuscany style dishes unique ! Desserts delicious too . The service is really good, attentive without being too much . There were plenty of diners but we didn't need to wait to be served. A pity we don't live closer as we would visit more often. Definitely recommend
