    Ruth Chris is my favorite restaurant. This location is my go to! Last night went well with the exception of service. The waiter tried his best, however getting bread took a very long time. I asked over 3 different times for bread and the waiting time was very long. It seemed as if the request was forgotten about due to the prolonged delay. We also ordered a loaded baked potato without bacon. The potato came out with what appeared to be a baked potato with an attempted removal of bacon. There were tiny pieces of bacon visible on my daughter’s bacon. Maybe additional servers are needed for this location. I waved down two different servers for the bread request as well. Lastly, the reservation asks for the reason for visit. Our reason was to celebrate our daughter for her outstanding achievements in life as well as academics. It almost went unnoticed until I requested the celebratory dessert.

    Fabulous all around. Really nice atmosphere, attentive servers and the food was fab. We will be back…on special occasions though, it is quite pricey.

    Great food and service! Our only complaint is the noise level is very high. They need to muffle the noise with some rugs or something. Dining room feels cold ( and loud) it’s not the elevated design you expect at Ruth’s Chris.

    I arrived about an hour before closing as I did the previous time I dined in. First experience was wonderful. There were no other guests but me and it took 30 minutes to receive all of my food but it was fresh and delicious. Drinks were strong! This time however the food was terrible. It was visibly burnt and it tasted burnt and old. Mind you the appetizer came out about 15/20 minutes before the food so why everything was burnt was beyond me. Again barely anybody in the restaurant. There was a party of two at the bar, me and another person eating alone. The food came out as the kitchen was closed so no time to redo anything. I just don’t understand why if you have a whole hour to make two people’s plates why not just do it correctly. The whole restaurant was quiet and empty with plentyyyy of staff working. I love the stuffed chicken so I’ll give it a third go but it’s crazy how I inquired and apparently this location is always empty yet when it gets late the food is always messed up. They didn’t feel like working last night lol.

    I took my wife to Ruth’s Chris to celebrate her birthday. We have been coming to this restaurant for more than 20 years to celebrate our anniversary, birthdays, and other special occasions. Unfortunately, this visit was very different from the experiences we have come to expect. The crab cakes arrived on a sizzling plate, but the crab cakes themselves were only lukewarm. Next came the porterhouse, which we specifically requested well done. It was not. My wife cut into the first piece, saw the red meat, put down her utensils, and said it made her feel queasy. The sweet potato casserole was also disappointing. We order this dish regularly, but this time it had an excessive amount of loose brown sugar piled on top, almost as if several spoonfuls had simply been added after cooking. I asked our server to correct both dishes. The porterhouse came back well done, but it was so heavily salted that my wife immediately reacted to the taste. She has high blood pressure, so that was especially concerning. After more than 20 years of dining here without a complaint, this was extremely disappointing. They did bring out a birthday cheesecake, but by that point we chose to have it boxed up and leave. What hurts most is that this was my wife’s special day. You cannot get that day back. We trusted Ruth’s Chris because of the many great experiences we have had over the years, but this visit fell far below that standard. This experience has caused us to seriously reconsider returning for future special occasions. After more than two decades as loyal customers, that is something I never expected to say.
