Mezcla de sabores incompatibles. Plato principal altamente condimentado A dos nos causó indigestión. Polenta sabor feo. Postres y bebidas también por hacerlos “originales y de autor “ que parecen experimentos de laboratorio que no funcionan. La fama no cuadra con la propaganda y la realidad. Para rematar el precio exagerado sin compensar con una comida sabrosa.

We were seated in a charming little room upstairs and the service was very attentive and friendly. There were four tables in the room and there was only one other quiet couple in there when we arrived. However, when the other two tables were filled with larger groups the noise level rose significantly. This was due to the fact the other tables were fairly large and the diners there had to talk loud to be heard by their table mates. it also seemed the intense subwoofer music level was raised by the staff as soon as the room was filled. It was so loud my date and I had to practically yell to hear each other only two feet between us. The food was delicious for sure, but it would have been much more enjoyable without having to contend with the noise. I should also add that our red wine was poured from a bottle that had been opened for a while and had been refrigerated. However, I will take full ownership over that problem since the waiter let us taste it first and I was too quick to assume that the initial sourness would subside as the wine warmed up. If you go, avoid that little room and you should have a wonderful time.

Not impressed.. We've had some of the best food in CDMX but Rosetta is not included. Bland food that was over priced, and rushed service. We would not recommend coming here if you are looking for a delicious, relaxing, meal.

OpenTable specifically asked if I wanted outdoor or standard seating. I chose standard. When I got to the restaurant they said my table was outside in the street. I asked to be inside but they said my reservation was outside. In this specific restaurant it’s a very different story to be outside and the place loses its magic

I visit Rosetta with high expectations, initially we were sited outside in the external terrace, we asked to be moved inside since there was a bad smell out there. So, always ask not to be in this place. Quality of food is very good, with a menu that offers options for everyone, but it was hard to find something that called our attention and surprise us since the beginning, in other words, very good food, but not that differentiated, when comparing to other places. Service was very good and the atmosphere (inside) is very special! In terms of price a bit higher considering the whole experience.

This restaurant is all hype and a tourist rip off. The food is bland and mediocre and way over priced. It seemed like there was no chef in the kitchen. The waitstaff and hostess were barely cordial and clearly unhappy. I’m really disappointed. Maybe Rosetta was good years ago but it seriously missed the mark. I wouldn’t recommend it.

Food is actually amazing, all hype aside. I had the beet tartare, short ribs, and the hoja santa with cacao and the whole meal was a wild journey for my tastebuds. Highly recommend, despite the cost.

There is a damn good reason as to why this is considered to be one of the best restaurants not only in CDMX but in the World. The ambiance, attention to detail, service, flavors and creative spirit guarantee an amazing experience every time. Made reservations for 1pm right when they opened so it wasn’t that busy and we got seated at a table inside. The restaurant is beautiful and I would recommend sitting inside if you can. We ordered the cabbage and pistachio tacos and white mole as appetizers. The cabbage tacos were a 10/10 and I wished they came with more. The white mole was good as well. We also ordered tagliatelle pasta and gnocchi. The pasta was amazing. The gnocchi was good but compared to everything else we had, it was my least favorite.

Rosetta was an incredible experience. From the ant butter on sourdough to the lavender tres leches cake, I enjoyed every bite. I will definitely return when I'm in CDMX again.

Claro ejemplo del dicho, haz fama y echate a dormir. En 2023 el restaurante ha sido colocado en el top 50 del mundo, sin embargo en servicio, ambiente y comida deja mucho que desear. No es que sea terrible, pero sí BASTANTE mediocre para ser supuestamente un restaurante top a nivel mundial. El costo beneficio que engloba platillos, servicio y experiencia no empata con su reputación. Una experiencia decepcionante en todo sentido. Dando mayor contexto de lo anterior, mencionando solo un par de los múltiples detalles: 1. Los meseros actúan por inercia. No tienen la atención de explicar los platillos o simplemente dar sugerencias. 2. Una muestra de cuando la ambición de ganancias supera la ambición por la calidad y el servicio al cliente: Comer en la banqueta en una plataforma adaptada, para un restaurante de este tipo y precio: +3,000 MXN por dos personas no hace sentido y es en detrimento de su imagen y relación costo/beneficio. Además de que invaden la vía pública, contaminan el paisaje urbano y obstaculizan el paso peatonal. Se entendía que fuera así en la crisis de pandemia, pero lamentablemente estos negocios se han aprovechado de la tolerancia de las autoridades, en tiempos post pandemia. En resúmen, comparativamente con los restaurantes top en México con quiénes se le evalúa y compara, Rosetta está varios escalones por debajo. Me parece que su éxito es fruto de la gentrificación de la ciudad de México, en dónde este tipo de lugares se llena de extranjeros que están dispuestos a pagar precios ilógicos para el valor real de lo ofrecido.

The food was wonderful, the green bean, potato and Parmesan salad was to die for and both the pastas were fantastic . Unfortunately the service was terrible. Our server barely spoke to us, seemed unhappy to be there, never checked in, didn't refill the water carafe and basically ignored us. For a restaurant of this caliber I would expect much more professional service.

El lugar es elegante, buen proceso de recepción y la atención del mesero también buena. Pedimos la ensalada de tomatillo, el pan de centeno y la tartara de betabel de entradas, rescatable sólo la primera , de segundo tiempo la pasta nada extraordinaria incluso bastante común, plato fuerte el lechón con buen sabor y al punto de cocción , el pescado en costra de sal demasiado salado nada recomendable. Los postres salvaron la noche. No regresaría, en general no alcanzó mi expectativa.

We were lucky enough to get a reservation in this sought-after restaurant. We were not disappointed. Service is very good and friendly. The rooms are cosy and the decor in the room we were made us feel like we were in someone's home (for us, that's a good thing). The food was very good. Deceptively simple, but beautifully presented. We had three appetizers (one to share), two main courses and desserts. Everything tasted so fresh and the accent on herbs and local ingredients is obvious and delightful. The wine list is actually quite good. The only thing I would suggest is slowing down the pace if possible (the restaurant was packed on a Monday night, so might not be possible). I look forward to returning. Book in advance !

Wonderful food and lovely dining rooms. I had to dine alone as my friend was sick. I was placed at a table near the waiter’s station and was in the middle of a very busy intersection of staff. The service was very brisk and I felt very rushed through my meal. Even though I was prepared to settle in for a nice, relaxed dinner, the entire experience lasted only 45 minutes and I had the impression that they were deliberately rushing me along. I was very much looking forward to dining at Rosetta but honestly felt it missed the mark. The bakery was amazing though and I highly recommend it!!
