Once again, we had a wonderful brunch experience at Roots. The food was excellent and the customer service and ambiance were outstanding. We will absolutely be returning for brunch in the future.9

Priced too high to be mediocre in execution. Everything was good, but not great. Fish was overcooked (halibut) by a large margin. I am not nitpicky, nor am I posh, and this place just didn’t execute any dish well. Cheese plate was not balanced, Short ribs were well done, but not enough aus jus for the meat itself let alone the accompaniments. It was good though. Service was good (our server was not) but everyone was nice and helpful.

As always, a wonderful lunch, elegantly plated, and lovely service. The grilled ham and cheese was a delight- and the willingness to swap out soup for a salad was appreciated.

As usual food was excellent. Service was good. We got bottle of wine and it was a little pricey for a pinot gris. Only complaint we had.

We had a great dinner to celebrate my adult son’s birthday. Our experience was pleasant and relaxing. Our server, Avery, was outstanding.

I was pleasantly surprised by the weekend brunch. The restaurant was much quieter than at dinner, the food was excellent as was the service. I look forward to going back and trying other brunch dishes.
