RockCreek Seafood & Spirits is a full service restaurant and bar located in the Fremont neighborhood of Seattle, WA. We’re open daily; serving dinner from 4pm to 10pm Sunday - Thursday, and 4pm to 11pm Friday & Saturday, and happy hour daily from 4pm to 5:30pm.

Our menu centers around globally sourced seafood from well managed fisheries; with offerings of local Northwest familiars like crab, oysters and mussels, to more tropical fish like Kona Kampachi or Hawaiian Ono, and East Coast staples like Striped Bass. Our preparations emphasize fresh ingredients that arrive daily, and pronounced flavors from around the world.

Our urban-industrial two-story ‘fishing lodge’ was built with local and reclaimed resources by Dovetail Construction and Marian Built. Our tables were crafted from bark-beetle pine, and we even found a home for our favorite re-purposed farm equipment! Our space includes the main dining area, a large modern patio and an upstairs loft and private dining room.

Good selection, food is very nice. Very small portions, but everything is nice and fresh. For those that don't eat seafood, you will probably not find a good selection to choose from. Otherwise it is a lovely place to eat. Our waiter was very nice and quite attentive, and the atmosphere is comfortable and inviting.

I discovered RockCreek while looking for a new brunch spot to entertain some out of town guests. My usual spots were all booked. Best decision I ever made when it comes to brunch. Quite possibly the best brunch I've had in Seattle.....since I moved here in 2006. 100% will be back!

The server rushed us out before we had finished eating. All courses came out at once (course these!!!) and the server dropped the dessert menus and later the check while I was still eating my salad. We’re spending $250 for four people to enjoy a lovely meal. Stop rushing us and instead provide service and attend to the table. We will not return.

Went out for couples dinner and loved Rock Creek! Wonderful service and food was incredible! Octopus, prawns and shaved cauliflower appetizers and then Blackened Grouper for my main. We also took 2 bottles of our own wine and paid the $30 corkage. Service was incredible and ambiance excellent. Had been once before years ago and they have stepped up their game! A+ for the team at Rock Creek!

Took my elderly mother there and we shared the Mackerel salad, the Hamachi Crudo and the Mussels, with a baguette to soak up the juices. All were outstanding, and the perfect amount of food. Service was attentive and lovely. Overall a great night.

We ordered the prawn and grits and chilaquiles and both were rich and delicious. Service was sweet and attentive enough. My only complaint is that the restaurant is LOUD.

Two of us had great dinners--we each ordered two small plates and shared 1/2 doz oysters. ( the oysters were great but really pricy!) I especially loved the tuna tartare, but everything was good, including the dessert of apple beignets. I'll return!

Amazing seafood. Had the Rockfish stew with mussels and calamari. It was so good and the bread was soaked in a really good gravy before being put in the stew. The key lime pie was also amazing - not too big either which I appreciated. The sourdough with butter and salt was great too, but too much for one diner. Definitely want to split that one.

Good food but overpriced the fishes for what it's worth. The sever where great. I was hoping to get a more flavorful fish. They have great oysters though. I gotta give it to the cocktails - they are actually pretty good. So I would recommend it for that.

This was my first visit to RockCree, but definitely not my last. The food was incredible. My fiancé and I shared several plates, and each one was beautifully plated, delicious flavors, and high quality. The staff was friendly and attentive making it a truly special dining experience. Highly recommend RockCreek!!

Starter and small plate dishes were superb! Creative, flavorful, beautiful! Unfortunaely, main entree, Rockfish and shell stew, was just good. Too much like standard Cioppino served at numerous seafood restaurants. And the sauce overpowered the seafood, so the fish could have been frozen cod or sole from anywhere. It was not bad, but a disappointment after the other two exceptional dishes.

This was highly recommended to us by a friend and wow! If you like scotch they have a great list. We started with oysters yum and move to the prawns and grits, fantastic! The sourdough with the herb butter is definitely a must order. We split the Branzino fish, squash and potatoes - definitely enough food for 2 people! We we so full we passed on dessert but will be back and figure out how to work that in. And the service is GREAT!

Service was excellent. Attentive but nor intrusive. Had been a while since I had been there, still outstanding. Waitress was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. I was hesitant about the octopus, but trusted her recommendation. So glad I did. Oysters were fresh, plump, tasty -- no grit. Sea bass was phenomenal. Desert was light and a nice finish.

RockCreek is one of my favorite Seattle restaurants. Service here is excellent, and the food is even better! Every dish we tried was meticulously crafted and cooked to perfection. My wife and my meal was one of the best we've shared together.

I was so excited to try the fried oyster Benedict after seeing it on instagram. So I dragged my family to try it. But they were out of fried oysters! Eliminating two items we wanted. Also out of chilaquiles. How can they be out of so much?? Service was sweet but the kitchen was slooooow. Food was god when it arrived. Beignets and plum pastry were great!

Food (fish, appetizers, vegetable sides) almost always uniformly wonderful. Creative seasoning/spicing. Good advice re wine pairing. Service from both our waiter and bartender (re wine) was attentive and smart and friendly. We try to eat here nearly every time we visit Seattle from the (not-too-shabby foodie environment of San Francisco Bay). Desserts last night were more attractive than tasty. Still a reliably wonderful experience.

My only “complaint” or issue is some tables are not as well lit by lighting as others. So, looking at their smaller font menu was a little more challenging. Nothing your smart phone flashlight can’t handle.

Food was great, as always! Although, we ordered a series of aperol spritz’s that came with an olive in them(?) , not an accident as we thought initially since the second round came with it too. The entrees came out as we were still eating our appetizers , and the waitress was so rushed to place the plate that the entire meal nearly slipped off the plate and into one of our laps —it was a close call. And they played Van Halen nearly all night, I could barely hear myself think.

We had a wonderful birthday meal last night at RockCreek. The small plates and entrees were wonderful except maybe the cauliflower salad. It was way to heavy on the dressing so that there was no cauliflower flavor at all. The winner was the Chilean sea bass. It's an expensive night if you have a drink or two and leave full...at least $100/person, but worth it for a special occasion.

Everything we had was delicious from the cocktails to the apps and entrees to the dessert. I really enjoyed the Pheasant Tail which was a spin on an old fashioned. Pasta, swordfish and tuna perfection and s’mores dessert kept us full til lunch the next day!

My ten-year-old and I really enjoyed our visit and the food tasted great, especially the yellowfin tuna. I will say the portions are small. However my son and I done out for the full experience and we had a wonderful time.
