Even better than we remembered!
GOOD ITALIAN FOOD. You pay for quality and that’s Roberto. The experience is great.... birthdays are celebrated in loud and fun fashion.
Roberto's is the perfect place for a family celebration. The food is excellent, the kind of traditional Italian food that you remember from years ago. The staff is courteous and friendly, as well as being efficient. The ambience is sublime; it is "old style" but not dated, everything is fresh and looking like it was just renovated yesterday, in a timeless style.
Love Roberto’s. Best place in Bronx’s Little Italy. Always an excellent meal.
This was not my best experience at Roberto's. While the pastas were outstanding as usual, the entrees were not. I had the Halibut special and it was overcooked with the clams in it were cold, suggesting it had been sitting aside and not made to order. My son had a veal dish which was similarly overcooked and he didn't finish it. The rest of my family had pasta dishes which were devoured. Wine list is good with some decent values in Sicily and Sardinia, but little else in the usual suspects.
Knowledge bartender- excellent mixologist
Well prepared southern Italian food
I love all the food at Robertos. We go every time we visit the New York botanical garden or the Bronx zoo.
Roberto’s is amazing, always! The ambiance the service, and the food is one of a kind.
We have been going to Roberto's for at least the last 12 years. We considered it one of the best Italian restaurants in the New York metro area. But, our last few visits have been disappointing. I think things are really slipping.
I have been going to Roberto's for 25 years. He continues to come up with new, creative, delicious dishes. His wine cellar is first rate.
As good as we expected from an iconic restaurant in the Bronx’s little Italy. Everything was outstanding.
Parking wasn’t easy but there’s a municipal lot around the corner. Highly recommend.
Fabulous restaurant. Top notch service and food. Highly recommend.
Absolutely incredible food, service and experience. They handled our large group of 9 impeccably with appetizers, first and seconds courses, cocktails, wine, desserts...Fantastic experience across the board. A+ in every category. We will be back soon!
My favorite place in the Real Little Italy!
Really nice lunch with guests
Been coming for years. From the moment you walk in the door, this place makes you feel special. And it makes you feel like you’re home. The bartender, wait staff and Roberto himself welcome you and treat you like one of the family. And the food? It’s a home run. Every time. Don’t miss the pasta finished in foil. The specials are 100% can’t miss.
Great service delicious meal!
Best Italian restaurant in the world! You’ll never have better, fresher pasta in your life. Always order every special on the menu. Pasta cooked in the bag is to die for.
Roberto’s never disappoints. Our favorite Italian restaurant outside of Italy!
Food - Service - Atmosphere all top shelf - Never disappoints.
I absolutely love this place! I come into the area each year for Christmas and it is our family tradition to go here for a later lunch post shopping on Arthur Ave.
Our all time favorite for Italian food. A treat every time. It never disappoints.
Great restaurant...been many times. Just wish it was more festive for the holidays!
Food was absolutely delicious. Service was THE best I have ever experienced in any fine restaurant, barring none.
Only fault was the noice level. Much too loud and hard to converse. But, I will return.
The service was excellent. Roberto's executed a number of dishes that you rarely see anywhere else. Food was delicious. It was a little loud in the main room at the peak of dinner. Definitely will go back.
Did pasta as a shared pasta delicious. We all had some type if veal very good
The best restaurant in the Arthur Avenue area !! The food is great and the ambiance is perfecto!
Night out with the wife. Pre holiday date
This was our first time at the restaurant, although we had tried to get in before but nothing was available.
The food and the service were very good, but it was very noisy. The hostess was very accommodating because we were a little late due to heavy traffic so she still kept our reservation .
Another delightful dinner at Roberto’s with friends. Great food and wine.
Great dinner, nice staff and excellent food
Best Italian food in NYC. Interesting menu....wonderfully prepared and served.
I've been to Roberto's twice before as it was recommended to me by a NYC foodie as the place to go in Little Italy in the Bronx. Both times before I loved it so recommended it to our family as a spot to gather for a family dinner (they traveled 1.5 hrs to meet up). I don't know what happened but the food was not good and the prices were insane. They charged us $14 for a bowl of plain penne pasta for our child. And the pastas were very small portions and they charged between $20-$26 for simple dishes that didn't warrant such a high price. Obviously, one could be charged that for a small portion if the food was excellent, but this was NOT that. The quality has clearly gone down. I wouldn't recommend this place anymore and will not be returning.
Roberto’s never disappoints. Excellent appetizers, great entrees and well recommended red and white. We even had dessert which we never do. Lovely evening. Plus I got a spot on Crescent Street 50 yards away.
My husband and I used a gift card from our son and daughter in law for babysitting! Our date night!
Roberto’s is a great all-around dining experience. The wait staff is energetic, helpful and fun. The food is delicious. And we love their “Happy Birthday” music!
Great service. Busy weekend as it was Fordham Homecoming. Everything was great
This was our first visit to any restaurant on Arthur Avenue in the Bronx. We were brought downstairs and found it to be great. This is a cozy and roomy basement that is done very well. There were at least two servers present most or all of the time in this space. Our food was excellent. My wife and I ordered the Pollo Spinaci and it was excellent. A friend of ours orders the Veal Osso Bucco and thoroughly enjoyed his. The appetizers - a Spanish octopus and a seafood dish that was a special were very good too. We finished with a lemon cello and a chocolate lava like cake.
I heartily recommend this restaurant; the food and service were splendid.
Went to Roberto’s in remembrance of my brother who died recently. Roberto’s was one of his favorite restaurants and the last one he had taken me to while alive. The food was great and the waiter was blissfully absent so my friend and I could talk quietly to each other remembering happier times
As always, the best!
