First time eating out on Arthur Ave and this restaurant came highly recommended by several people we know. Food was excellent as was the dessert. We had tiramisu and cheesecake. Service was excellent by all staff even beyond our waiter. Other waiters even asked how we were doing and if we needed anything. We had noted on the reservation that it was our anniversary. Though his was not acknowledged while we were there, everything else made up for it.
Delicious lunch shared with friends on a day visit to Arthur Avenue area. Service impeccable. Food options: many, with lots of unusual specials as well as traditional Italian.
Best Italian restaurant in NY.
The pasta dishes are superb as are many of the special appetizers
One of the finest Italian restaurants in NY with an excellent wine list
Food was delicious and service was impeccable!
Wonderful except very noisy
Food arrived cold twice
Good menu poorly executed
It’s gotten real comercial and the quality has suffered
Good but nothing to write home about.
We were very disappointed with our lunch . We have been to Roberto’s many times and it is always amazing. This time it was like a different restaurant. The food was bland and overcooked.
Great spot to dine at. Very helpful and friendly staff.
Great food, great service, as good as usual... the best Italian in NYC!
Excellent as usual
The event was a business dinner with customers and their spouses. The wait staff could not be more attentive, the food was amazing and the atmosphere was just what we were looking for.
ALways outstanding food. Many exciting specials. They cater to a knowledgeable and demanding crowd. Everyone is pleased. great bar and wine options.
Amazing food awesome service. Highly recommend !!!
I will begin having been there before on two other occasions. The food and desert included were excellent. The server we had was a bit rough at the edges especially because we had to very elderly in the group and can’t hear too well and have their ways. Great place both up and down stairs, a gem in the Bronx!!
This is the best restaurant on Arthur Avenue. I only order from the extensive specials. Only problem: the noise level is way too high
The food is consistently good. Can get a bit noisy if there a a lot of kids. My husband and I shared an appetizer, a pasta and an entree with a $50 bottle of wine and the bill was over $200 without a tip. $30+ for a small pasta dish is a bit over the edge.
Have had great experiences here, but this post-Yankee game crowd was loud and crowded and the service suffered.
Best Authentic Italian Resturant In NY. Homemade pasta, fresh ingredients, and recipes are from Italy. No Americanized dishes here. Service is very professional and friendly.
Roberto's is always a homerun! We went for my husband's birthday and delicious as always. This is my husband's favorite restaurant for many years. Grilled Octopus and fennel salad for appetizer, seafood with fusilli and risotto special for dinner, tiramisu and profiteroles for dessert. ABSOLUTELY OUTSTANDING!
Hidden gem in the Bronx. Always great food. A must try. You won't be disappointed
The appetizers took quite awhile before they were served but were delicious. Our main entrees were fabulous. The wait staff was excellent. My wife and I have been coming to Roberto’s for years and are never disappointed with the marvelous food.
The food was excellent: interesting dishes that were delicious, fresh, and well-prepared. Authentic Italian food. The service was very good but we had multiple waiters and at times there was duplication of service and at times no service. I recommend they assign a single waiter to a group of tables for greater consistency. Atmosphere was pleasant. Parking was a little difficult. I will definitely return, though--the food was divine.
We ate downstairs in the wine cellar. It was quiet and food was good. Very noisy upstairs, don't expect to have a conversations. Ambiance is eh....
Best food in and around Arthur Avenue. Necer disappoints.
The best restaurant in Arthur Ave, bar none (and it's a high bar).
Best Italian restaurant in nyc. Never disappoints. Great from the bread to the dessert.
Yummy. Fun. Delicious. What a great neighborhood. We Will be back.
We love Roberto’s. We live in Brooklyn but make the journey to Roberto’s as often as we can! Great food and great, friendly service!
Wonderful and authentic Italian cuisine served by a knowledgeable and attentive staff!! We really enjoyed dining here and will return for certain!!!
Too expensive for what they are offering
The special pasta dish was $45.00
Nothing on the plate except for protein have to order everything alacarte
Service was absolutely superb! Our waiter was fantastic and extremely helpful with recommendations. Presentation of food was wonderful. And the food? Probably the BEST Italian I've had as of yet! Definitely recommend and will definitely return!
Great food and great service. Love this place. Staff is wonderful. Menu always with specials. Pasta in foil to die for! Great wine list. Reasonably priced. Authentic!
Awesome spot, food is excellent and the staff takes their job very serious. Favorite spot in Belmont’s Little Italy
We will definitely return because all of our past visits to Roberto’s have been wonderful, but our visit last Saturday was disappointing. This probably was just a bad day.
The shell fish in our dish were uneatable; the muscles and clams were like rubber but the shrimp were okay. When I complained to the waiter he made an excuse, said they were fresh and walked away without even an apology much less offering us another food option. The charges for the food remained on the final bill, which we paid because I didn’t want to create a scene.
The cloth napkins shedded lint all over everyone’s pants.
The noise levels were louder than in the past, maybe because we were surrounded by the large crowd at the tables in front and to our side. This was my, not the restaurant’s fault. I should have asked for a table in a better location since we arrived before the large parties and saw how the tables were set for a big crowd.
As I said maybe this was a bad day. We still consider Roberto’s and its Armonk restaurant two of the best and creative Italian restaurants in America Whenever practical we will continue to take visitors to New York to Roberto’s.
The fresh pasta with shaved parmesan and black truffle is to die for... fantastic... as usual!
Roberto's is a relaxed restaurant which serves delicious Italian food.
Great food and service but way too noisy
They need siund-absorbing materials
Always the best!
