Roi des Lézards is all Carignan, from vines ranging from 35 - 75 years. This is a significant bottle of Carignan, offering dark, purple fruit and good grip. The famous French term "garrigue" immediately comes to mind, used to describe the aromas typical of the shrubs and flora of the Mediterranean, such as thyme, rosemary and lavender.

The Pinot Noir grapes come from old 50-year-old strains planted in clay-calcareous soils between Marsannay and Gevrey Chambertin. This Pinot has an excellent balance of fruit and wood that is very pleasant to drink.

Made from 100% Gamay Noir, Chermette’s aim here is to produce something light-bodied, bright and cherry-fruited with reach-for-another-glass charm–something the delicious 2019 nails with ease. This is a punchy and juicy red that goes down dangerously easily.

100% Frankovka (aka Blaufrankisch) A fresh and bright red reminiscent of quality New World Gamay. Light in body with a soft, round palate and forward berry fruit. Widely appealing.
