What Insiders Are Saying
No, Pizzeria Mozza is not the best pizza in LA. But that doesn’t mean it’s not still a good restaurant.
Awful service, average food
Amazing service and food. More than reasonable pricing for the ambiance of the restaurant. Truly an experience to be had.
Great food and 5 star customer service.
The food is terrible
Nice but very basic and very pricey
For food I would say yes but we were rushed on the service end. My friend had only finished half her meal and they were urging her to box it up. When she asked for more time they brought dessert menus. When we asked for more time again they came back within minutes and asked what we wanted again for dessert. They yanked plates right as we were finished. And the thing is we were only there all totaled for maybe an hour and fifteen minutes.
Thank you for a great birthday. Nancy’s Chopped Salad is a must and the pizzas were so good. Also, the desserts were out of this world.
Amazing pizza. Love the Bianca pizza with fried sage and the tricolore salad. The butterscotch budino is amazing.
Best pizza in LA—crust is crisp and delicious. The place is a quite noisy making I ntimate conversation difficult.
We went to Pizzeria Mozza for birthday celebrations. Everything was wonderful from the freshly made salads to the pizzas, specially we enjoyed the squash blossom pizza. Our waitress was wonderful. The only problem for me is how tight the seating was. We could practically hear the conversation next to us. However we’ll definitely go back
Always on mark - food, ambience, service!
Great ingredients and good dough. A pizza italians enjoy!
food and service were amazing......i have a food allergy and they made sure I was taken care of.
I used to love coming here. Was always excited for what they do with seasonal vegetables, and LOVED their pizza. It was one of the few places I would splurge on pizza. I was so disappointed on the lack of veggie options, the over battered and seemingly deep fried stuffed squash blossoms were ruined, and the pizza was basically a big round of baked dough, with a few tablespoons of sauce and cheese. I will give them a thumbs up on the wine!
Food is always delicious & service is very friendly & knowledgeable.
As a regular I was delighted to see the new menu spruce up. This place will always be at the top of my list with overtures of flavor, service and choices that makes it all a cut above.
Food and service was very good. The Pizza is probably the best I've had. The only thing that I did not appreciate is the fact that they asked us if we wanted bottle water and when I said yes, they gave me filtered water in a bottle and charged me $12.00. The water came inside a bottle, but when I asked for the bottle with the cap unopened, the waiter had the call the manager to explain that their bottle water was in fact filtered water in a bottle. I don't think Restaurants should charge $12.00 for filtered water and call it "bottled water". NOT COOL!!
When my good friend told me that there could be some of the best people that I would ever have, I had my doubts. But, after eating here, I am a true believer. Amazing pizza, loved the salad, and the dessert was quite good as well. I was disappointed to find that the olive oil gelato was not on menu anymore, but otherwise thrilled with experience!
Went to celebrate my sons birthday. From te hosts to the bus boys to the server it was all great service. The music and decor provided great ambiance. The food was just amazing for anything that had bread, the salad I had was a bit bitter.
Chopped salad is a bit bitter and over peppered. Pizza crust is delicious. Had the margarita which was slightly bland but still delicious. Other more adventurous flavors should be amazing.
We were so excited to visit Pizzeria Mozza after hearing such great things about it online and visiting the Instagram page. Not only did they run out of all the dishes we wanted to try, but the pizza was really not very good. The BLT pizza tasted like a fast food burger, and the dark, cramped and busy atmosphere was unpleasant. The only thing that was very good was the grilled octopus salad. I’m sad to say I wouldn’t recommend this place to a friend.
Awesome as always! We love it here - food is good, service is good.
Always enjoy a visit to Pizzeria Mozza. The food was well-prepared and delicious and Juan paced the meal nicely.
The food is always excellent. Overall service is good, but it could be better.
Poor service with long waits for food. Lunch service took over 1 hr and 45 mins. I’ve been coming here for years and this was by far the worst dining experience I’ve had here.
Food was good, well seasoned, beet salad with hazelnuts had only 2 hazelnuts and food was overpriced
Family favourite when in town
Pizzeria Mozza is my answer to where do you want to go to dinner on a week night with close friends just to catch up. Food never disappoints and I literally want to try everything. That's why we keep coming back.
Like the wine room
Great food! Great service!
They have become too successful and are in "coast" mode. The food was good and service was fine, but overall nothing special. The $40 corkage fee is just plain stupid. Sadly, enjoying a bottle of wine with a meal in California has become punitive. Either the price for a bottle of a wine list is 3 to 4 times the retail price of the same bottle or the corkage fee is outrageous. Wine should be part or component of the meal. Just my 2 cents.
Food is exceptional
Went to Pizzeria to celebrate my son’s birthday. This was not a first time we were there and as usual never disappointed. They have the best pizza in town!! I ate pizza as good as this one in Italy! Love their service, ambience and the food! Thank you guys!!
My favorite pizza in LA. It’s so good! Watch out tho the host can be a stickler and quite frankly rude
We made a same day reservation, and as always the meal and service were flawless.
The best pizza anywhere in the world. It is our favorite restaurant in LA. Great pizza, salad and dessert.
Takes 15 minutes to show table that has already been setup. Why bother sweating out in traffic to make reservation on time. Otherwise, food and service are first-rate.
The food was beyond salty up to the point where we lost all taste capability for hours after and felt sick. We gas few appetizers and pizzas.
The noise level was unbearable - people were screaming at each other in order to have a conversation.
Overall bad experience especially in a place that claims this pricing level. I am a regular customer next door at Mozza Osteria where the food and atmosphere is amazing. Pizza place five thumbs down.
