We hope you find that here with us. Mangia!
The beef carpachio was a salt bomb! Hardly edible. The chicken picata had no taste.
The pear ravioli with sage and brown butter was so good , I wanted to lick the plate. Portions were very generous on chicken parm and lasagna. Will go back.
The food was great although it took longer than expected for it to arrive. Tables around us with different servers received food much more quickly.
As always, food and service were superb!
My out of town fiends want to come back.
My wife and I like to go here for their pasta selections. Have not been disappointed yet. She had the chicken carbonara and I had penne and shrimp in vodka sauce. Both were delicious and came out piping hot. The portions were generous. They have great drink options and very good appetizers as well. Looking forward to trying some other items on the menu with future visits.
This was a return trip. Every time we have dined at Anthony's food and service have been excellent. We'll be going back. Real neighborhood gem.
Great food in a friendly atmosphere! The experience was great!
Great food and atmosphere! Small space so it can get a bit loud but did not bother our dinner experience. Desserts looked amazing, too!
We were seated upon our arrival and a waiter arrived at our table about 10 minutes later (the restaurant was not busy). My husband ordered a coke and 20 minutes later we flagged down a hostess/waitress who said she’d get our waiter; she promptly sat down at a table with a party of 3 and loudly laughed and chatted for about 20 minutes. When our waiter finally returned (only after I got up and walked to the main entrance and asked two young men behind the counter if they could track down our waiter) he apologized over and over (once or twice would have sufficed). He was the wrong kind of attentive, despite the comment by the loud hostess/waitress that he was a great waiter. Return? No thanks.
very nice place , our food was delicious however our server was poor.
The service and atmosphere were great! The shrimp scampi over linguini was fantastic. My husband ordered the chicken parm and it was supposed to be over pasta. There were literally less than 15 noodles (ziti or whatever) that it was over. For the price, I expected more. The shrimp was comparable in price and easily 2-3x the food. We will be back, but wouldn't suggest the chicken parm
Wonderful experience! Our server was so friendly & attentive. The food was very good & they accommodate allergies. will definitely go back!
Excellent food and service! Gia was great (our server), table was perfect
The waitress brought menus and did not return for 15+ minutes. Another waiter brought bread no water, no drinks, no orders. Finally after 25 or so minutes the waitress came back and we ordered drinks and food. 20 minutes later another waiter came out and asked what we were drinking (already drinks) because he needed to add them to our check and if we were ready to drink. We were very confused and at the same time the original waitress came out with our food. The two waiters looked at each confused. A asked for a refill on water which took another 20 or so minutes. The pizza was very salty. We have dined here before and had a better time. Staff needs some training and management needs to help them.
We noticed when we sat down it was so noisy, we could barely hear each other. I didn’t enjoy my meal and I’ll eat pretty much anything (over cooked shrimp had a strong fishy taste) Once we told our server, Anthony came over, apologized, and removed the dish from the check. They were poorly staffed, it was extremely loud, and the food wasn’t great, but staff did everything they could to rectify it, which was impressive.
Top class, Danny is the best!!
I've been to Anthony's Cucina Fresca many times and they don't ever disappoint! The food is always excellent no matter what we order. They are prompt, friendly and knowledgeable. They have recently redone the inside of the restaurant and have created a very upbeat upscale feel while keeping the "we are family" ambience. Anthony's is our favorite restaurant!
Our first time here. Everything was amazing. We will definitely be back
Food was really good, and the atmosphere/appearance was awesome as well. Only issue was that we waited nearly 20 minutes after being seated for a server to come over to our table, which only happened after I got the attention of a server walking by.
I believe it was just a small mix up, which I realize happens. Won’t stop us from coming back, as the food was really good and once we were able to get a server the service was just fine.
This is our go to local restaurant, excellent food and service. Highly recommend Anthony’s
We tried this place for the first time after hearing good things. I had the Veal Roll (special) and my wife had the Seafood Fettuccine. Meals were excellent and you could tell the food was fresh. The homemade pasta is absolutely spot on. The owner was there and is super attentive and accommodating. You can tell he really cares about your experience. Great spot!
On Thursday, my husband and I did an impromptu dinner at Anthony's. I wasn't sure how busy it would be so I made a reservation. It wasn't crowded when we arrived at 5:45 but sure enough by 6:30, it was packed. I tried the crab and lobster ravioli with a side caesar salad. The homemade dressing and croutons were amazing. I usually only eat a few of them, but I couldn't stop and I ate them all. My meal was very tasty. I took half of it home and enjoyed it the next day. My husband had a small steak sandwich. He said it was ok. When I was leaving, I saw someone with the margherita pizza and it looked amazing. I know what my next meal will be. :)
Always reliable and reasonable. Something for everyone. The owners have done a nice renovation and appreciate their diners as well. They seem to have a lot of "regulars" which says something for the quality of their establishment. We are 2 of them.
First time here, definitely would go back. Food was excellent. Calamari was a hit. Server was on top of everything and never felt rushed. The only food issue was the focaccia bread was dry and overly seasoned, but it was free. Highly recommend.
Took a while to be greeted and served a dime water and drink. Took a while for appetizer too, even while not really busy as I have seen in the past.
Never disappointed by a meal here. Flavors pop on all the food and everything tastes fresh.
We keep going back. We are always greeted promptly and seated quickly. Service is very good and the food is great. Very reasonable. We'll be back.
Best Italian food in our area!! Go! Make reservations! Otherwise you may not get in!! Love this hidden gem!!
Absolutely delicious! We went for our anniversary and had wonderful service and an authentic Italian dinner. The plate presentation was beautiful and the portions plentiful. We can not wait to come back!!
Excellent food and service
Sat at the bar. Watery martini and Manhattan. Pizza was good. Everything else we ordered, calamari and pasta, was very mediocre. Ultimately disappointing.
The food was delicious, starting with the complimentary bread and luscious tomato and olive oil dipping sauce. We shared the bruschetta appetizer which came with a generous five pieces. My spouse had the chicken parmigiana, and I had traditional lasagne. Both were excellent with a generous amount to take home for dinner the following evening. I had been enticed to try this restaurant by the photo of a mojito on their Facebook page, and it was as delicious as the photo suggested. My spouse described his Moscow mule as “good, but not great.” The service was outstanding including the take-home boxes which our waitress wrapped securely and labeled for us. I was glad I had made a reservation as others were always waiting for tables on this busy Wednesday evening. Lastly, parking was surprisingly ample in this downtown location with a very deep lot behind the restaurant and an easy exit onto Viaduct Avenue. I would recommend giving it a try; I know we will definitely return!
Our first visit to Anthony's and not our last. Great wine and spirits list. Our shared tasting board appetizer was generous in size and a great way to start our meal. Wife had a special and I had the carbonara. Again, large portion for each and had to take some home for the next day. Both were delicious.
First time here. Had a good time and found it to be good value. Will be back soon.
The food here is phenomenal! This is our new favorite spot for drinks, appetizers or dinner!
One of the best I've had. A local gem. Will return often.
Always a wonderful meal with fantastic service
Had a reservation and was seated immediately. Waiter took our drink order right away and was served quickly. Dinner was delicious.
Everything here was fabulous and top-notch from food to service. The only hold back from a 5 star review was a snafu with receiving the wrong dinner, however this was corrected very quickly. The server was extremely nice and apologetic, and brought us a free Cannoli without us asking for anything. One small mistake will not stop us from returning. The food and service is excellent.
Food is amazing, staff is friendly, accomodating, and attentive without being overbearing, and the prices are very reasonable. Fantastic place!
