Amazing view! Nice outdoor patio. We sat next to the edge in outdoor patio. Really enjoyed dinner. The only part that was a little off were the oysters but I really like briny oysters and waiter did tell be they weren’t briny they were sweet. So maybe that was the issue not sure. Really wish there was a variety. Price was steep per oyster at 4.00. The gazpacho was excellent!!!! And the honey nut shrimp special was fantastic. Overall - I am going back.
Beautiful setting on the south end of Lake Washington. The beets and grilled peach salad was a nice opener that we shared. I had the gazpacho and it was fresh with the just right amount of herbs. My gnocchi with asparagus and artichokes was filling and the done to perfection. You never know if they can put out good etouffee but they nailed it. Just put in a few more shrimp chef!
Beautiful evening on the deck. It was very pricy compared with other restaurants in the area but good atmosphere and the food was delicious! Also, the parking is confusing and should be good for 3 hours.
Sunday brunch is great, breakfast buffet is all day. Make sure you order pancakes and/or waffles.
The views and service were both amazing. We will definitely be returning.
Nice place. Our waitress was very polite. The view is just amazing! Thanks for a good experience on our special occasion! :)
Go for the view. Stick with drinks and snacks! The service is great!
Portions were so so.
The service was good. The view and atmosphere was nice. The food was good but overpriced.
Food was ‘ok’, but over priced. Waiter was nice but didn’t know much about the menu.
Nice view, good choice but wine a bit over priced. D2 glass $25
First time we've been to Waters Table to sample their normal lunch menu. We were there once before for a beer Maker's dinner. My only small gripe would be that the menu is pretty limited for lunch. The service was great the atmosphere and the view of South Lake Washington are unmatched. And the food that we had was excellent.
This restaurant has amazing views. We were able to enjoy an amazing sunset. The service was great. Our server was very attentive and the food came out very fast.
I expected the food to be more upscale. I had the Gnocchi. It was a large bowl of gnocchi with a lot of white sauce and a few vegetables. I expected mostly vegetables with a little gnocchi in the middle with a little salt and pepper. I would not normally order this dish but nothing else appealed to me. It was mostly due to the sides. Everything came with fingerling potatoes or garlic mash. Too heavy for a hot day. I remember a previous menu being mostly Asian fusion. It isn’t now.
I would recommend this restaurant for drinks and maybe an appetizer.
We went for brunch on Saturday morning at noon, there was lots of staff but none were very attentive to us. We waited quite sometime before even getting water. Asked for condiments and had to ask multiple people until we finally got it. The food is good, the ambiance is amazing but the service needs to be stepped up to match the cost of the experience.
Loved Sunday brunch buffet while enjoying the water view. Didn’t feel rushed and had great service.
Outdoor seating is a must when visiting Water’s Table. The inside area is more of a formal bar dining experience with loud, live music. Outside provides a relaxing dining experience with excellent views of Lake Washington, and downtown Seattle in the distance. Excellent for sunset! Service and food quality is superb!
Beautiful day so the view was amazing. Service seemed very slow and there were not that many parties there. Food was good but the slow service made the afternoon less than enjoyable.
Great food and service. Wished that the menu on the website reflected what was really available.
Pleasant service and location, but very disappointing food. And in a virtually empty restaurant sat right next to the only other occupied table wlwith loud talkers!?
I'd recommend it if you have plenty of time and aren't on a tight budget. The views, especially on a sunny day are great. The food is good and the setting is nice, although the menu is fairly limited. My biggest gripe is the service. For these prices, you shouldn't have to wait long for placing an order, getting your food, your drinks, or paying the bill. We had a cold appetizer and I think it took over 20 minutes.
Speed up a bit folks!
Food was very good, waiter was pleasant, however we ordered a salad before dinner. The salad arrived and I began eating when after 2 bites our dinner arrived. My food was returned to the kitchen and my wife ate her meal. I received my meal after I finished the salad and needless to say my wife completed her meal long before I did
Got an early reservation for a beautiful summer day. Window seating, excellent food and service. It's pricey, but the portions were the perfect size and with the view it was well worth the premium.
Tasty menu, wonderful view, friendly service - not your typical hotel eatery.
Wonderful view of Lake Washington and some beautiful Boeing Planes! Love the outdoor deck seating
with a roof. We had the Fish and Chips. I think they could work on the Fish but the French Fries were
exceptional. The service was friendly and I would come back. I saw the hamburger being delivered to
another table and it looked wonderful but $22 is over the top for a burger...maybe you could offer one
without the pancetta and have a simple delicious burger for around $15?
Great Food and very good service. Love the Lake View too!
The food and service was overall good, but the amount it took to get our food was a lot more time than I would usually have the patience for. It was in total a two hour dinner. To be more descriptive about the wait time, it took 40 minutes to get our desert. I have also been here before during a special occasion and they had given our party a complimentary desert due to the celebration. I had booked this place for my parent's anniversary and they did not receive complimentary desert.
Hostess could not find my reservation made thru Open Table. After we were seated, I received an email from Open Table scolding me for not making it to my reservation and how that is detrimental to the restaurant business. I showed it to the hostess then she found the reservation after all.
Food and drinks were high priced and food was not exceptional quality.
Such good food and drinks! Best way to spend my birthday
Food was very tasty, but a smallish sized serving. very nice view outside, however, so a worthwhile visit to try out a new place. Don't expect to return, however.
Weekend brunch is overpriced and food is worse than at a holiday inn. I had higher expectations since this is a Hyatt but they gravely disappointed our party of 10. Do not go here if you have a large party, they will sit you in the back with absolutely no views (the sole reason why people would go here.)
I had reserved this brunch earlier in the week and made note that we were celebrating my daughters graduation as well as father’s day. Our table was not ready at the time of our reservation and we received a small table near the walkway while walk ins received booths on the water.
Service was slow, however it did improve after the busy brunch calmed down. The food was excellent and everyone enjoyed it.
Maybe there is a need for additional staff, the service was poor and left us unattended for long periods.
I will return soon and hopefully it’s better next time.
Good food. Great view. Sunday brunch was decent.
Overrated except for the view. Understaffed and very unclear about how the flow of the buffet should go. Lots of dirty tables left unattended and wait staff very average.
Mediocre food and lackluster service, that about sums it up. Nice view though.
We had early dad’s day lunch. Beautiful view and the food was great.
It was lovely but I got the impression that none of the staff had worked in a restaurant before. The server walked away in the middle of me telling him my order, for example. I think in 2 or 3 months it will be an amazing restaurant
Have been here several times - this time I ordered a half chicken.......the chicken came out, looked great...I cut into it - ate a piece. It was ice cold....like been in the fridge over night cold.. I actually called the waiter over and said "do me a favor - touch this chicken" He did - he agreed and took it back. I find it awful that they would charge $38 for a precooked chicken that they take out of the fridge to heat up.....prob my last trip there. It's a shame - the views of Lake Wash are pretty amazing.
The outdoor balcony seating was pleasant with a beautiful view and the dozen overhead heaters made it comfortable.
Fairly new restaurant in HYATT Regency Hotel, Renton. On Lake Washington shoreline. Beautiful view. Restaurant is extension of bar, an unfortunate design. Lounge music...thumping drum machine music made conversation more challenging than it should be for a dinner meal.
Service was fair, not particularly professional. The lady bussing was more professional than the server. The server asked if she could take our order. When I asked our guest if she was ready to order the server said “I’ll be back in a couple minutes” and walked off before any of us had answered her question. We were ready to order. It was around 10 minutes before she came back. The server would reach across our faces to grab a plate or glass on the far side of us. She pushed our appetizer plates out from in front of us without saying anything so she could lay down the entree plates. She was rough around the edges. She served and acted as though it were a fast food restaurant. I am guessing poorly trained or not trained at all. The food was mixed, mostly positive. Our guest loved her salmon. My beef was good..a bit short of great. My wife’s gnocchi was enjoyed. The Brussels sprouts side ordered desperately needed something to enhance the flavor. The taste was bland as could be. Most went uneaten.
We will probably try the restaurant again but only for a casual beverage and lounge snack experience. I will go somewhere else for my next business dinner in the area.
Beautiful view but our server was awful. Slow service, lots of mistakes on our drink and food order.
Service was worse ever. Had to wave (with a napkin in the air) the waitress, to take drink orders, then to place dinner orders. She never came and asked what we might want. Acted surprised that I called her over. Food was over priced. View was terrific. Will not go back.
