Union and Finch
I have been here for dinner several times but first time today for brunch as I normally work Sundays. It was awesome. Reservations highly suggested.
Service, food, drinks and music were also top notch. The menu for brunch offered more choices than their regular menu.
Very friendly owner and staff.
It was a delightful privilege for us to eat brunch at Union and Finch yesterday. What a gem!
We had a great experience at Union and Finch! We had a group of eight and our reservation was ready right away. Good food and great brunch specials on the weekend. Only slightly bothersome thing was that our waitress kept bringing us our check without asking if we wanted anything else, when we did and she kept bringing over the new one after we ordered. Otherwise, I recommend !
Waited a little too long for food. It was wing night and I feel like they should have come out a bit faster than the did. Sweet potatoes fries were not hot.
These folks are doing it right! The food is delicious, the atmosphere is lovely and the service is always excellent. My only complaint is that they haven't opened a location in Bethlehem for my selfish needs.
Went there this past Sunday for Brunch. I usually order the Union Omelette, but I decided to try the Falafel cakes (only on the brunch menu as far as I can tell). Delicious! Really one of the best falafel's I've ever had. Served with Chorizo Sausage and potatoes. Great meal! Server Nick, was personable and good at his job.
Food was delicious, would and will do again.
Excellent food/drinks! A little loud but love this place!
Food and service is excellent! I LOVE their pickle jar! The only thing I can (barely) criticize is the noise level. The acoustics are poor, even on a night when it’s not very crowded. The good news is you’re enjoying the food so much, there’s no time to talk.
What a surprise gem! This restaurant could be in NYC, Philly or LA. Every detail thought of regarding the decor. Top notch food quality and best variety of brunch menu offering I’m seen in years. I work with chefs and am in the private dining club business. This little gem is a real find. We will return! If it was near me in Delaware I’d be a regular but we were visiting family.
Really enjoyed our meal here. The wedge salad and poutine were simply amazing. White bean hummus was a little bland, but the vegetables and pita served with it were fresh and tasty. Kinda wish there was more than one dessert option, even if it's something simple. The slice of Boston Cream Pie isn't really my thing, and it was massive.
Their brunch was amazing and service from waitress was Pretty good.
Food is fantastic. Nice beer and drink selection. On the noisy side. Owners always present and come over to each table to check in and chat
Great food, great service. This was a really fun place to eat. Everyone from families with kids to groups of young adults to older couples all enjoying themselves and having a nice meal. The food was interesting and delicious. We were in Allentown for DCI and just stumbled upon this restaurant. I’d totally recommend it for all you drum corps fans!! Walking distance to JB Crum!!
Everything - the food, the prices, and the service- were all excellent!! A delicious varied menu with reasonable pricing and service that was friendly and punctual made for a truly delightful evening!
This was my second visit. The first was for wine and appetizers. We had cheese curds and the Reuben egg roll. Both were delicious. The next visit was for brunch where I had the savory crepes stuffed with ham, cheese, and spinach, served with a bechemel sauce and fingerling potatoes. Loved! So fabulous! Try this restaurant, you won’t regret it.
Amazing fresh made food. Servers are super nice. Owner is the best.
We’ve been going here for years, and without fail, every single time the owner stops by and makes it a point to have a conversation with us. The food is delicious, people are super friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend!
I love Union & Finch. But, the noise level in the large, back room is really bad. I wish they would do something to make this better. I’m sure there’s a fix for it. We couldn’t hold conversations and were yelling to be heard.
Great food, great service. Noise level-tough.
Excellent food and drinks as usual. Staff was friendly and efficient as usual!
Excellent food and great service. Just a little too loud in the dining room.
Great local spot. Food is always very good. Still way too noisy.
A first time visit here - definitely worth a return trip (or twelve). Food was great, beer selection on tap was varied and outstanding, and our server (Alphie) was attentive without being overbearing. We sat on the restaurant side, and were aware of the band on the bar side, but the sound level was great, could carry on a convo on either side without being drowned out. REALLY loved the ambience. This is a gem!
Perfect dinner on a perfect summer day . We all said we would come back
Friendly and fun servers. Good food and great value. Will definitely return when we are in Allentown again.
My husband did not like the sour cream on his eggs.
A hidden gem, that a plan to tell more people about
The live music was nice, but loud. Everyone had to speak louder to hear each other
The salads were very fresh, the waiter was attentive but the frites were limp and not crisp.
We have been here several times and it remains a favorite place to grab dinner
Fantastic place for lunch
We have been here numerous times for Brunch, Dinner, Drinks and such. As always a great experience with fantastic food and service. We cannot recommend this restaurant any more highly than we do.
Great staff, delicious food!
We happened upon U&F by chance and have been back several times since. It is about a 90 minute ride for us and worth the trip every time!
I Highly recommend Union and Finch!
Best Chicken & Waffle I’ve ever had.
Beautiful new gastropub that caters to vegans, vegetarians, and gluten sensitive. The ambiance was wonderful and the staff, as well as the owner were very friendly and knowledgeable about the food they served and the history of the area. They had a bountiful craft beer selection along with house infused spirits and top shelf bourbons. The menu was a fusion of New American and French Nouvelle. The food melted in your mouth and the flavors were top notch. Above all, the prices would not break the bank and I would recommend this establishment to anyone.
Great food and very friendly staff. I’ve been there twice forSunday brunch and need to go for dinner.
Food was great, service was great. The noise is always a bit much, but bearable. Only disappointment was the offering of Happy Hour for brunch - $12 gets you original Mimosa and $.05 refills. Sounds good, but it was all orange juice - couldn't taste any champagne or Grand Marnier. And the orange juice was full of pulp. I did complain to the server who just shook his head in agreement, but no accommodation was made.
Our group had a great brunch experience here. The restaurant is clean and very nicely designed and the food was outstanding. We ordered a variety of menu items between the 7 of us and everybody was pleased. The only thing we had to complain about is that it took a little while for us to get refills of our bottomless mimosas; we would have appreciated a small pitcher or something to keep at the table and refill at our leisure. Other than that, we had nothing to complain about and would definitely return and recommend to others.
