Founded in Glen Iris, Melbourne in 2017, QT Kitchen was created to transform Vietnamese culture and heritage into a refined modern Australian dining experience.
With roots in Cà Mau, Vietnam. Chef Kevin Pham combines the flavours of Southern Vietnam with premium Australian produce, native ingredients and contemporary techniques.

Signature experiences include the QT Chef’s Table and Whisky-Flamed Whole Cockerel, showcasing theatre, craftsmanship and bold Vietnamese flavour. QT Kitchen was named Victoria’s Modern Vietnamese Restaurant by Restaurant & Catering Australia in 2022, 2024 and 2025, with National Silver honours.

We booked the $45 per person tasting menu, having checked it in advance because we have young children and a daughter who doesn't eat meat. On arrival, we were told it was no longer available and the only option was $89 per person, which was beyond our budget. We ordered regular dishes from the menu instead, but they came out one at a time, about 30 minutes apart. When we asked, we were twice told "just a moment." The staff were lovely, but not efficient. The food was tasty, but so slow that only one person was eating at a time, and my dish came last, when I had already lost my appetite. We came to celebrate my son's birthday, but left before dessert because it was so late and my daughter was crying from hunger and tiredness. We left disappointed, with a bill higher than we had planned.
