Del Frisco's Double Eagle Steakhouse - Philadelphia
This is one of my husband’s favorite places. We treated him to dinner here for his birthday. The restaurant was freezing cold! Some dishes were excellent - all the steaks our party ordered were a highlight. Salmon did not taste fresh though it was prepared/cooked well. Chicken came with a cream sauce that wasn’t listed in menu description. Side dishes were extremely salty- mushrooms, Brussels sprouts, asparagus. Service was attentive and professional. Wine list was extensive. Valet parking is great! If you are going to eat here- My recommendation would be to stick with the steaks.
Amazing! We had an Awesome time.
The staff was excellent!
The food was perfect!
A great dining experience!
Our waiter was excellent! We were very happy with our service and food. Everything was perfect for my husbands 60th birthday dinner. I especially liked the signed card and I am so happy we ordered the cheese steak dumplings. Along with our entire meal, those dumplings were outstanding!! We appreciated the card, great service, exceptional food and wonderful atmosphere. Thank you so much!! We will see you again!! Mary Kulp-Sheaffer
It was an awesome experience.
Our server Anthony went above and beyond , he was attentive and very knowledgeable. My boyfriend and I cannot say enough good things about our time spent there.
We look forward to dining there again soon.
Great environment great food excellent server. Professional staff all around
Alex was the best server, she was very attentive and was there when we needed her. Food was delicious and drinks were awesome. We had the VIP cocktail which is must have, it is so good. Will definitely return and request Alex as our server
Joey made an effort to make sure the evening was a success
Fabulous food. One of the best steaks I have ever had. Great service and ambiance. Highly recommend.
I’ve been to this restaurant on numerous occasions and have been satisfied with the food and service. My most recent visit was very disappointing. First the service was excellent and I was happy with our server. However the food was extremely disappointing. Soup was cold, steaks not cooked to the proper temperature (2/3 in our party). My steak was also very fatty. My mistake was not bringing this to my servers attention. I was with my Father and son and didn’t want to make an issue. I paid extra for the dry aged rib-eye and I could only eat a portion of it. I even watched the table next to me bring a steak out three times because it was not cooked properly. Desserts were very good. Cheesesteak dumplings were great.
I’m on the fence if I will give this place another shot. For the money and choices in Philadelphia it’s hard to not look past this experience.
We chose Del Frisco's for our night in Philly. Housed is a former Bank, it is wonderful just to be in the building. The steak (Rib Eye) was excellent ... as was the Calamari (peanut sauce was a nice touch). And of course, when dine at Del Frisco's ... we sip on VIP's.
Monday evening, we had the place to ourselves (practically). Great ambience and excellent food enhanced the quality time we shared.
Been going to del Frisco’s for years , took my fiancé for his bday and the experience was poor after all my years of bragging. My steak was to be prepared medium well it came out BURNT not even well done. The manager came and removed it from the bill however the experience continued to decline with a long wait time for the correct meal, Wait time for the check , server not very attentive.
Our server was great overall but he didn’t check on us that much and he seemed like he was dealing with something outside of work. Still a great place to eat overall. Thanks guys.
Our server was fantastic and the food was delicious!
Both of our steaks were extremely salty. We got bone-in prime rib eyes for $68 each, and the quality does not fit the price whatsoever. I don’t know how it’s possible that such a well-renowned steak restaurant could serve such salty steaks that were almost impossible to eat without recoiling from the taste. We came for my boyfriend’s birthday dinner, and it’s such a shame that we left hungry after spending so much money. Very disappointed.
It was my first time here and is was amazing, the service was awesome, the food was delicious. I will definitely go again. 💪😎💯
Kim was AMAZING! They definitely know how to elevate the food by having such wonderful service!
Damon was an excellent waiter and treated us very well. The food was delicious.
Great restaurant. In town for the first time and this place was recommended by a friend. Great food and the VIP cocktail is awesome. However, be careful. This cocktail will definitely ‘sneak’ up on you if you don’t watch how many you get😃 Managers who care about the patrons. I will always dine here on future visits.
Subpar the dri aged steak was the worst I have eaten in 35 years. Did not come close to expectations
Very enjoyable meal, as usual. Great service from start to finish, including table touches by the Manager & Assistant Manager. Ambiance was terrific, as was the food. Highly recommend the butter cake with butter pecan ice cream for dessert!
High level steak house delivers elite service, ambiance, energy and most importantly great steaks and seafood. Try the bone in filet mignon. An excellent, succulent cut of steak and extremely tasty to boot. If you're in the mood spend a little bit of coin your food return will be well worth it!
It was my fiancé’s 30th birthday. We had an amazing time. It was our first time at Del Frisco’s. All the food was amazing. And the service was perfect!!!
Thank you so much!!!!
The #1 Steakhouse In Philadelphia
Everything was wonderful! Peter is the best waiter
Food was excellent!
Very nice atmosphere. there are a couple of spots on the ceiling that need plaster repaired.
Great waiter. didn't have any Crown Royal Apple flavored whiskey thou.
The service was outstanding. Appetizers very good. The best calamari anywhere. Our sea bass was very good. The porterhouse steak was disappointing. There was so much gristle it was tough to chew. The seasoning was amazing but we took most home and cut up for the dog. Would definitely go for the filet next time.
Excellent service and food enjoy going there
One of my favorite restaurants when I am in Philadelphia. In fact we went straight to dinner there as soon as our flight landed!
I'm a steakhouse junky. I was looking forward to eating here. Disappointed. The wait staff spent too much time speaking to each other. The restaurant is very large. They seated all the group's close together, providing no intimacy (in a huge space). Guess that is easy for servers....the steak was...good. Had to climb two large flights of stairs to use the restroom and passed chairs and tables stacked for storage. At the prices, I expected much better service and food. The restaurant itself is beautiful architecturaly. Go for a drink just to see it.
They asked if it was a special occasion, it was our Anniversary and they really went out of there way to make it a special evening for us.
Unfortunately not what we were expecting. The steak would have been much better without the excessive seasoning. Food was very disappointing. Definitely not a top tier steakhouse, would have preferred Ruth Chris if that tells you anything. Our waitress was not friendly and appeared to be bothered by having kids at her table. We wish we had the waiter from the table next to us, he was entertaining and attentive to his customers. Waitresses do not have appropriate attire for what is supposed to be a high end restaurant. Manager was very friendly. Will not be going back.
Augustine was the best waiter. He made the date seem more special
This was our first visit. It was everything and more that we heard. Fabulous food, and service!
Went for daughters graduation from grad school. Split the 45day aged ribeye, t was fantastic ! All the sides were good, and service was what you would expect. Great wine selection, but most are over priced compared to other restaurants. Don’t forget to finish with house made lemon cake...not usually a fan of lemon cake but theirs is awesome.
We visit the Dallas location regularly and this location is amazing as well!
