Legal Sea Foods - King of Prussia
Legal Sea Foods is a Philly favorite. Surrounded by hotels and near both the Valley Forge Convention Center and Valley Forge National Historic Site, we are at a mall entrance on the upper level of the Court.
Guests get reeled in by our buzz-worthy lounge and comfortable dining room. Half-shell hedonists may sit at our 10-seat horse-shoe shaped oyster bar where slurping is encouraged.
Legal Sea Foods has long proven that a consistent, high quality dining experience never goes out of style. With over 40 varieties of fresh fish and shellfish available throughout the year as well as an award-winning wine list, there’s no doubt why legions of fans have fallen hook, line and sinker.
We’ve received a boatload of accolades including the honor of serving our legendary New England Clam Chowder at every presidential inauguration since 1981.
We had not been there in a long time and it was even better than I remembered. Great food and our waitress Marissa was very kind, patient and helpful to us in making our choices. We will be back sooner rather than later.
Great food, efficient and friendly service and great music that was audible but not overwhelming.
Our large(r) party was mostly fish/seafood eaters and the food certainly met expectations. Two young adults decided instead to share a steak and the order came out on one plate, and our server never bothered to bring a second. (We were very clear about the meal being shared. ) Drinks were standard fare but often we waited for another, and usually it was served one at a time. All in all it was a pleasant evening and the small complementary birthday cake/cupcake made my daughter very happy. Thanks.
Quick and easy business lunch with plenty of room and medium noise level.
I got the special and it was served with sides that were not advertised. ( asparagus was anticipated) Would have appreciated options to something else rather than the choice made for me and just delivered to the table. Dinner rolls were served well into my dinner. Other than mentioned, overall was okay.
The food and the service were outstanding the waitress was very attentive to our needs
The staff was attentive without being overbearing, the surroundings were tastefully done & the food was amazing.
Was very disappointed that they are no longer offering Ipswich Clams which is why I went. Also the Crabcake was very salty
Come here often with family. Menu has gotten smaller. Not as many choices.
We have been going to Legal Sea Foods King of Prussia for many years and have always enjoyed the fresh oysters (especially the Wellfleets) and the terrific steamed lobsters, which are always excellent and well-prepared. Leslie has been our server for several years and we always request her because she is top-notch and a real professional. Hope to continue to enjoy LSF for many ears to come.
I have been a fan of Legal Seafoods for decades. However, lately the quality of the food had gone down and the prices have gone up. I suggest always asking for the price of the dishes marked market price, because it is likely to be astronomical. I don't see the justification for charging over $30 for a lobster roll on the lunch menu.
Great food and awesome waiter. The experience was amazing and my girlfriend enjoyed the dinner
Staff was outstanding
All around great experience, just a little expensive. $6 for a side of spinach. Server was amazing and kind.
Excellent food and service. I recommend the dessert it's ammazing!!
New waitresses was very forgetful and slow
We went to Legal Sea Foods at KoP while the family visiting in PA. The entrees (salmon, burger, scallops, shrimp) were scrumptious, the wine was exquisite, and the dessert (bananas rum foster and warm brownies) was delicious.
We eat here several times a year and usually love it but the service was terrible. Food was very slow to come out and table was poorly cleared. Maybe not the place to go on a holiday weekend.
We enjoyed our evening. Food was okay, not spectacular. We felt the food was overpriced. Restaurant was lovely, but the floor desperately needed to be vacuumed and Ladies room had only 1 of 3 sinks working. So surprised by that. Not the worst experience but not a great one.
is a nice place very nice experience for my wife there for our anniversary I never been there before I heard a lot about it everything was excellent till the end when the waitress brought out a little candle and some little bombards for anniversary I thought it was very nice but then I seen that it was a charge on our bill for it which was totally totally uncalled for talk to the manager Larry he said if you ever come back let me know about it so I mean I said okay I don't know if I'll ever come back
We had a terrible experience food was below average for the high priced menu. There was a glitch with our gift certificate Very embarrassing and manager was of no help.
Baked cod was mushy - manager made good on the bill
We had a very good experience at Legal Seafoods. Our sever was very quick and courteous. The food was delicious! The portions could have been a little greater for the money paid, but overall, it was a terrific dinner.
The food was outstanding and the service was exceptional. If I could afford to eat there every day I would be there. I'll be going back real soon.
Dinner was fine nothing spectacular.
At the conclusion of the meal while sitting and talking with friends we had a mouse and something else I couldn’t tell (looked like a car or rat) ran across the dining floor.
I will not to back
Food-wise I should have just gone to Red Lobster. Service was excellent however
My wife and I enjoyed dinner with a friend who had not been to LS. We were greeted warmly and welcomed to a table. Our server was attentive but not intrusive and the food was wonderful-we had different entries-crab and salmon which we throughly enjoyed. We had the wedge salad , with an oil dressing which was not my favorite-it was good but I prefer a creamy topping. The wine selection was broad enough to allow everyone to pair their wine with their meal. We were pleasantly full from the meal so we passed on dessert. The hostess took the time to greet us on the way out and asked about our dinning experience. Overall, a nice evening meal!
We were celebrating a birthday but we didn’t announce to our server. She caught on and put a candle in the birthday girls dessert!!
I had a 7:45 reservation and wasn't seated until 8:30. Aside from that. it was enjoyable.
Food was delicious. Our table wasn't ready and we waited for over 20 minutes.
Excellent grilled fish and raw bar.
Go for the Raw Bar. We arrived early and they still sat us quickly. The decor seemed slightly dated and worn but did not reflex on the atmosphere. We had the Large Treasures of the Reef. It was amazing. It was the freshest seafood I have ever eaten. The shrimp and lobster were meaty and delicious and the assortment of oysters were so fresh and tasty. Everyone agreed that the entrees were acceptable but not great and definitely not worth the price. Overall it was good overall experience and would recommend it to anyone interested in a great raw bar.
We were seated right away. Excellent food, service was exceptional. Would definitely go to that location again. The legal seafood that was in Montgomery County Maryland closed a few years ago.
Fine for families who do not mind a noisy restaurant. Prices were quite high for a family restaurant. Appetizers were fine but main courses were ok - just not really good for the price
Always a great dining experience!
It was ok. They changed the menu and the new menu leave a lot to be desired. We had Boston cream pie for dessert it was clearly frozen and the pastry cream was broken and the caramel was very
light and bitter. The service was good but I doubt I'll be back
We started eating at Legal in the late '90s when living in New England. We were excited when opened in KOP and was never disappointed. However, this time, something didn't seem quite right. It seemed different. The menu was not the same and the air of a very popular eating destination was lacking. Every time we dined there in the past, it was as if it was a special place. I don't know. I don't want to be unfair because the food and service was very good, and the prices were within expectations, but something was not familiar. It seemed run of the mill.
I entertained two guests the other night at Legal Seafood. It was very pleasurable. The only disappointment was that the mixed grill (my personal favorite) had been removed from the menu.
Oysters were fabulous and the tuna was exceptional
