Peninsula Ridge Estates is truly a world class wine and culinary destination catering to guests who are looking to pair a relaxed and casual atmosphere with an incredible dining experience. The property is stunning, with breathtaking views of the Niagara Escarpment, Lake Ontario including the Toronto Skyline and of course our pristine vineyards. The restaurant is set in our historic "Queen Anne Revival" Victorian mansion perched on the brow of the Beamsville Bench and features a great outdoor patio for dining during our long summer days and nights.

    Since this is the Christmas season there were no decoration visible . No pictures on any walls making the atmosphere bland . It felt like you just moved in with the furniture just set up.

    Experience was not good. Caesar salad was a couple strips of lettuce with very hard croutons and a drizzle of dressing for $16.00 poor. Dinner was a pile of very wet mashed potatoes which became slop when every thing was piled on top. We were not asked if we would like buns until we were half way through our main course and the bread & butter plates were already removed. We had the surf & turf - lobster was a bit soggy and turf had a lot of gristle. I was taking my friend out for her birthday and noted this and told the waitress. They did not offer even a small piece of cake but she did say happy birthday. I did explain to the waitress about the meal nicely and they asked if I would like a replate but by that time I would be eating by myself & was half way through. Not happy, will not go back.

    We went for the surf & turf special. Dinner was very good - veggies, lobster, potato - except for the steak. It was the sort of steak I'd expect to get at say, Montana's (thin, overcooked)

    Beautiful restaurant, original flooring and banisters. Lovely paintings. Quiet atmosphere with perfect dining music. Service was outstanding, 2 servers taking care of the three of us and a third delivered our food. We had the surf and turf that was advertised on CHCH. It was our first time, we’ll definitely be going back to experience the wine tasting during the day. Truly a beautiful environment and welcoming staff.

    This was our first time eating at Peninsula Ridge and it won’t be the last. We went for the surf and turf special. Every single part of our meal was cooked perfectly! Truly one of the best meals eaten out ever! I was going to send a thank you note to the restaurant but I hope this reaches all that are staffed there! A wonderful meal and experience. You will see us again! 👍👍👏

    Great meal last night. We both had the Steak & Lobster November special, both nicely prepared and not overcooked which is an easy thing to do with a lobster tail. Service was efficient and friendly. I only gave it a 3 for Ambience since, in spite of an early reservation at 5:30 pm, we were given a table that we weren't happy with. When we left, a much better table for 2 near us was still empty. If we'd been given that table we'd have ordered dessert and coffee to extend the experience. Apart from that, everything was lovely and we'll look forward to going back.

    Went for the first time when I saw they were having their annual surf and turf November special. Did not disappoint! Excellent everything. Have two more reservations before end of month for different occasions but plan to frequent throughout the year!

    My husband and I had a wonderful dining experience last evening! Diana was a terrific host, Surf & Turf was off the charts delicious and at $40!!! Chairs are comfortable, fireplace ambiance, such a unique picturesque location - feels like a Trish Romance moment :) I have already booked another reservation for later in the month with clients.     My wife and I along with two guest went to The Restaurant at Peninsula Ridge because of the Surf and Turf special - we were not let down - the meal was scrumptuous from the vegetables to the steak and lobster. We will definitely be back !!

    Small dining area, when it filled up it got noisy. Servers were nice and polite. They sell wine on sit at their winery but you can buy it to drink, prices are triple. Had French onion soup and it was very good. Special was steak & lobster. Had to send steak back as it wasn't cooked right, food was not very hot. You had to basically use your fingers to rip out the lobster from the shell. Very messy. I don't think the chef was impressed with the plate coming back, we could hear them in the kitchen. Desert was good, they added a sparkler as it was our anniversary. They took the $18 glass of wine off the bill for the inconvenience, which was fine. We probably won't return

    The food was good, service was good however needed to ask for bread mid course, they taken our bread plates and knives away. It’s a beautiful location, close to home and the food and service is always good. I do think it’s time to update chairs in restaurant, a short person sinks down and has difficulty getting to food. As we go out after Covid and with food inflation, finding it difficult to find value

    This was well worth the 40-minute drive from Niagara on the Lake! Quite possibly the best burger and potato hash I’ve ever had! Michelle, our server, was a doll…absolutely delightful. Thanks for making our anniversary brunch so memorable!! Highly, highly recommend! We will be back!!

    My husband and myself wanted to view Peninsula Estates as my granddaughter had booked her wedding there for next September. Beautiful facilities and view. Food was excellent. Menu had a variety of choices. Service by Brittany was excellent. Great advice on wine selection in the retail store. Hostess was very helpful about lodging in the area. Fantastic experience overall. Can’t wait to return. Thank you Peninsula Estate.
