356, named after the predecessor to the iconic Porsche 911, is unique since it is located at Porsche Experience Center Atlanta (also North American headquarters for Porsche Cars) with good views of the center's east track and the planes arriving at closely adjacent ATL runway 26R.
We asked to combine the Insalade Verde with baked salmon and they were very accommodating. The excellent salad contains very fresh crisp greens, goat cheese, pickled strawberries, candied pecans and crispy onions with a lemon-poppy dressing . Both the salad and nicely seasoned salmon portions were generous and it was a delicious combination.
The butter pieces are shaped into 911 cars, a nice touch, and served with tasty warm pretzel rolls. The most popular item on the menu is a classic Wiener Schnitzel, made with pork.
Staff are very friendly and attentive.
There is an interesting collection of Porsche cars also on display in the building and a small shop selling Porsche related goods.
A great place to dine, whether or not you combine it with time in a Porsche on one of the center's two tracks. Open for lunch only and for special events (private or part of the Porsche Dining Experience program).
