   The service left A LOT to be desired. We initially asked to be seated as far away from the door as possible but were then sat at a front table. We placed our orders and were piecemealed everything. We got the sushi, but no wasabi or ginger, which is customary. We also didn't receive a dipping bowl for the soy sauce. We have to wait at least five minutes to get those items after our food arrived. It looked like the waiter was doing everything. He was waiting the tables and bartending as well. This was one of the most disappointing date nights we have ever had. We had to request drinks multiple times and even dessert. We wanted to order other drinks but we decided to just leave after speaking to the manager on duty!

   Depending on the roll(s) that you order, the food can be delicious and inventive or overpowering and offensive. Read the ingredient list before you commit! The salads and soups are pretty reliable - a slight variation on the typical miso soup recipe but no complaints. The drink list is standard for a restaurant of this type - a little expensive for my taste (and wallet). The service is friendly but sometimes inattentive. Our server was folding napkins when he should have been checking in on us.

   The server was terrible! It took forever to get our drinks, refills, etc. he would Come Up to us and blame the bartender and then Go wait on another table when we could see the drinks waiting at the bar countertop! Also, we had A group of 6 and all 6 of us had sushi rolls and/or entrees come out at completely different times! We got someone else’s appetizers. The entire experience was disappointing

   On March 10, 2023, a few of my childhood friends joined me for a 7:45pm reservation to celebrate my birthday. The venue was selected because I love this restaurant. Unfortunately, I was extremely disappointed with my experience. While the food was great, the service was absolutely horrible. The server was not responsive and neglected to check on us throughout our entire dining experience. I was not please at all with my experience and will not be celebrating my birthday here again.

    My daughters and I stopped for lunch on a Monday (holiday). The restaurant was not busy, but after waiting for more than 15 minutes, I had to request a server to place our order. Someone who appeared to be a manager stopped by to take our drink & food order. Once we placed the order, the food came out quickly and deliciously. At this point, I still had not received the drink I ordered with my daughters' drinks that had been delivered several minutes earlier, so I asked assumed manager if she could check on its status. She immediately poured and delivered my drink. Overall, everyone was very friendly, and the food was delicious, but service was a bit spotty.

    Husbands birthday. Server was kind and thoughtful. Definitely a laid back vibe within the restaurant. My meal came out a good 7-10 minutes before my husbands, was fine and I waited to eat until he got his- we were relaxed. When his meal arrived he enjoyed it. Me: NYC Black Pepper Steak, yummy! (I’m pregnant otherwise I would have loved to order sushi etc.) Drink, mocktail Berry Basil … tastes almost exactly like the sweetest sweet tart you’ve ever had but then also somehow sour. Lovely orchid blossom on top. Not for me- but definitely would’ve loved it in my earlier 20s… tastes like a mixer at PRIDE. I am still appreciative there are mocktails on the menu- thanks! Him: Sashimi bowl & two rolls - he ate it all and enjoyed. Drink, Hot Sake - he enjoyed very much. Had a nice time.

    We always have a great dining experience at RA, however last night was different! The server was not focused and was always delayed in everything. The spicy seaweed salad was terrible. My 84 yr old father even asked if there was a different management coz it was not we were used to! Disappointing!

    We did the sushi making class. It was really fun and it was nice meeting new people as we made our rolls. For a first time event it was fun. Some recommendations: seating space to hold all items needed for making sushi, seating In a way that we could see all demonstrations clearly.

    Our server was completely absent minded. I had to ask for basic things (water)at least 3 or 4 times. Not to mention the kitchen "lost" my order and he NEVER followed back up about it. I sat at the table for 45 min. Without my Entree and when he finally comes back he's like "oh, my bad". I honestly could have served myself. It was ridiculous.

    We come here every year for our anniversary and my husband's birthday. The sushi has changed tremendously, most is cooked in some way and has fake krab mix. We were disappointed for the first time in 10 years.

    I think the restaurant was without a manager this day - we were told that someone (don’t know who they said) didn’t show up. Food was ok to good, as always. It’s pretty consistent. But service was awful, and I received the wrong type of bento box (to their credit, I was charged for the one I received, not the one I ordered after they realized the mistake). All that said, our server, Savannah was fabulous, and tried to mitigate the effects of missing stuff as best as she could

    We were greeted by a lovely hostess who even asked if we were a three generation. She showed us our table and asked if it was okay or we could sit anywhere else. She was cheerful and so kind. Out waiter greeted us and he was fine. The rest of the evening was on slow motion. Upon receiving our first drink we waited for everything ordered much longer than normal. Luckily the hostess brought us low sodium soy sauce so we could enjoy our sushi. The food was fresh and quite good, although the thickness of sushi ran on the smaller end. We finally found our waiter and were able to order our second drink. Drinks came and five minutes later the beer glasses arrived. We received the check but still wanted dessert. The fried ice cream was fabulous! It should have been suggested because it was a real winner.

    My waiter was not personable at all and not attentive. We never got a water refill or food that was order and constantly asked for. The restaurant was not busy. If I came back and had him as a waiter again I would leave. It was not what I expected on my birthday.

    Great food but seemed understaffed when we were there on a Tuesday night. It was very hot and stuffy. I also made a note about my partner's birthday in the reservation but it seemed like too busy a place to honor those requests. It was a small gripe, since we still had a great time and enjoyed the food.

    This place has gone downhill! We needed the ramp which has a call/send button to the hostess. No one responded until I went up to inform someone. Once we checked in, we waited 20 min after our reservation time to be seated, and had to get our own high chair. The plates were dirty and had grease marks and fingerprints on them. We sat several times with empty water glasses, and overall service was lacking in a major way. The food was decent but not great. This will probably be the last time I visit, especially with so many better options in Baltimore.

    The waitress was awesome. The food meat portion quantities are for toddlers not adults. We saw it all when a MOUSE ran across the floor into the men's restroom and scared my co-worker. The ladies room is dirty and disgusting. The food makes several co-workers sick. The manager could only authorize $10 off our bill. Since my co-workers became ill. I'm going back for a full refund!!!

    My food was cooked wrong wasn’t really tasty I was supposed to have grilled shrimp it came deep fried but not cooked all the way . The drinks was really good A+ . I did have to wait 15 mins before anyone came to my table to greet us.

    The food was excellent but the service was incredibly slow. The only redeeming factor was that our server correctly got our entire in during happy hour and we paid happy hour prices. The tables were also incredibly close together and we were bumping the people seated behind us.

    Ended up walking out from our table. Under staffed, took 15 minute past reservation to get seated. Once seated, no one came to ask for drinks etc. dirty, out dated decor. Walked to Azumi and had exceptional service and food.

    While I think our waiter said he was new, he did the best he could and that wasn’t much of a problem. We had to wait a while for him a few times but we saw that he was really busy. I got the Hibachi filet mignon and lobster, about 45 minutes after I ordered. It wasn’t hot, not cold but not hot. It was decent but in no way shape or form worth $43! My friend really enjoyed the pineapple cream cheese fried wontons and her salmon burrito. The salmon poke bowl she ordered was good she said too much sauce on it and too sweet. I’ve been to RA a few times in the past and found it worth it. This time was lacking. We were not greeted at all by the hostess. The place was hopping, so business seems to be booming. Will think twice before I go again.

    The ambiance was nice, drinks and sushi was nice, but the food was in my opinion not the best. I order two different meals and the were both unsatisfactory. I tasted everyone at my table's food and still was not pleased.
