Zinqué - DTLA
chimichurri or peppercorn sauce
brown rice, ratatouille, spicy yogurt sauce
Great service, great experience, great cocktails, great atmosphere, great time.
Zinque has really good French bistro food without the expensive price tag. This is a wonderful neighborhood bistro perfect as a regular hangout, for parties, al fresco dining and for special occasions. We sat outside and had some unwelcome attention and behavior from a colorful character and security took good and immediate care of us. Steak Frites cooked to perfection!
We ate outside. It is noisy but in a NYC you can easily ignore it kind of way. Food was fabulous for all 4 of us. Service was slow and you had to ask for things that they should have been on top of. But would definitely go again.
Not really “French Bistro”.
Food wasn’t that good service was just okay and price was very high for mediocre food. Whole time I was wishing I had went to Le Petit Paris instead
The Tuna Tartare as an appetizer was fantastic and the Lasagna as my main was amazing. My friend had the Branzino and said it was delicious. Enjoy!!!!
Went for dinner before the Pat Metheney concert next door. Service was attentive, food came quickly and was delicious.
The waitress I had seemed like she didnt want to be at work. She barely spoke or came to check on the table.
Love this place. The food and wine is excellent and the staff very helpful. Great for business or social events.
Opted to sit at the bar, and everything was perfect.
Two great bartenders who were super on top of it. One minor thing was the soda machine was not working but they were able to make alternative drinks.
Had a great meal before the basketball game! Brussel Sprouts, Mushroom Flat Bread, Deviled Eggs and more!
The food was so good. Came back a few times in the same week. Service was great as well.
We sat on their patio, which was nice and quiet. Loved everything we ordered - tuna tartare, mussels, and steak frites. Service was great. Would love to go back and check out their brunch.
It’s my to go .. I love the lebowl chicken salad or Shrimp bowls it’s satisfies my hunger yet light. Great place to connect with friends for breakfast lunch or dinner.
Excellent food. Loved the quiches. Great service
Our waitress was great, really sweet and attentive! Food was good and their spicy tequila drink is very spicy!!
One thing we didn’t like is a woman had her dog with her at the bar and let him off his leash several times. The dog was allowed to come to our table for a while and we had to ask the owner to get him. He was a huge bull dog…
The homeless is a problem. A homeless person literally walked into the be outdoor dining area up to tables next to us asking for money. HUGE TURN OFF!
The drinks were delicious but the food was mediocre (except for the fries which were excellent), and the service wasn't great either. We got a bunch of veggie and sharing and plates for the table, including the flatbread. Maybe the mains are better...but I'm in no hurry to return.
My waitress, a blonde Asian woman, recommended a number of dishes.
I asked her if that was too much food for just two people, and she said she didn’t think so. I have a good appetite, but we had enough food for four people. She was absent for most of the meal, but when she brought the check she had a mobile payment tablet where she added 20% as a tip, before I could even do anything. I was on a first date so I didn’t want to look cheap so I went along with it. I felt like I had my pocket picked. The restaurant owners don’t seem to care, as I’ve seen a number of bad reviews based on waiters who are grifters or downright rude, and a manager who was literally forcing people to leave their tables at closing time just because he wanted to go home. What a dump!
Loved the food and the portions were very generous for the price and quality. Great drinks and service and the cheese board and burrito plate were both phenomenal.
First and last experience at Zinque DTLA. Service was truly poor. Felt like we were doing them a disservice by coming in to be honest. Both waitresses had chips on their shoulders and did little to nothing to make us feel welcome or provide any kind of experience at all. Food was mediocre at best. Pretty disappointing as I had high hopes for this place.
Great food and service and good atmosphere. Would highly recommend
Love the place, food, and service. Was really warm inside though so that was uncomfortable.
The food was good. I had the lasagna. Service was okay. I wasn’t a fan of where I was seated although I had made a reservation. But I’d definitely come dine again.
Blandest unseasoned chicken I have ever had.
They brought the appetizers and main meal at the same time so our table was very crowded and we felt rushed to eat everything before it got cold. Also felt like they were trying to speed us up to use the table sooner. Food was great but the service was a little rough.
The Porc Belly Taco and Burrata was absolutely phenomenal and my server was super pleasant. Im going back asap.
First time visit and we were very happy with the variety of the menu offered. Great service and fun atmosphere.
Quite ok charcuterie/cheese plate. Gratin Dauphinois potatoes uncooked unfortunately. Great drinks.
Great drinks, good food, fun ambiance.
First time at Zinqué and it was amazing!
I reserved a table for 6 and called in early to make sure if I can fit in one more person. I was given an okay, but when I arrived at the time of the reservation, I was on hold for 30 minutes. Then finally, we were seated outside on the street without the fence. We kept bumping into homeless people during the dinner. For such poor ambience, the food was way too expensive. I come to Zinque often for light brunches or small gatherings, but it's definitely not ideal for big groups.
Best staff in DTLA. Everyone who works here is so nice and it makes your dining experience so wonderful I really really appreciate all of you. The drinks are amazing in the food is top notch too (definitely went through a period during the pandemic when it wasn’t up to par but as everything is open again…) Zinque has honestly been killing it.
Fantastic service! Great food and wine.
Tuna Tartar and the Bronzino!!! So delicious.... omg
One server was training and he was great. The other bleach blonde server swindled us, charged for items with out warning and trashed talked the happy hour wine menu.
Simple but quite delicious, hip, food. A younger crowd frequents this location but folks of all ages, stripes and backgrounds are made to feel welcome.
Cute! Definitely get the ratatouille and the pan con tomate with proscuitto- they never miss. Awesome service, delicious food, and great bartending! The indoor seating is a little quieter than the outdoor, which is on the street. We love every staff member we interact with here, and will definitely be back.
Seemed like a nice place that wasn’t paying attention to the details. Bad bathrooms and just weird vibes that haven’t recovered since moving things around in COVID. Food was just fine.
Not a good service, very slow. Bad food flavor experience, it supposed to be french restaurant. Menu is far away of french cuisine.
