   The food was great and the service was fabulous. My daughter has celiac disease . Diego was easily able to guide us through which dishes were gluten free. He asked about the risk of cross contamination and we were all able to enjoy our dinner without reservation or anxiety.

   One of our favorite restaurants in DC! Food is consistently delicious, and top choices include the hummus, brussel sprouts, falafel, fries and shish taouk chicken. The never ending supply of warm pita bread is also amazing! Highly recommend this incredible mediterranean gem!

   It’s quite impressive that despite how busy it was that the service and food was good. I appreciate that there is a steady stream of bread arriving at the table. You never had to ask for it. Harvest and guest thought the dining experience was great.

   The RoZAY Brunch was amazing. While $85 for two might seem a bit much for brunch, the amount and quality of the food, not to mention the flight of wine and dessert, make it a deal. The menu says you can select four courses of mezze, but our waitress told us all seven plates were included and both desserts. The bread arrives first, with olive oil. Hold off and wait for the hummus and baba gannouge to be served or you probably won't have space when the dessert arrives.

   My sister was visiting DC so I reserved a table at Zaytinya because I have only heard excellent things about it. We arrived early for our reservation and both got Maia Minthe cocktails at the bar. It was hands down the best cocktail I can remember having. All of the food was incredible- my favorites were recommended to me by a friend- the brussel sprouts and the seared halloumi- the scallops were also outstanding- as was the smoked beet salad, the lamb baharat, the octopus and the avgolemono soup - everything was bursting with flavor and were beautifully presented. We had the Dio Fili rosé which we enjoyed with our dishes. We were too full for dessert, so maybe next time I’ll try one.

   Greattt location, just steps from the Metro, to the Verizon Center, and to two of the museums of the Smithsonian's less-crowded but incredible museums! Zaytina is terrific for out-of-town guests who, after spending a tiring day in DC, want excellent fare in a stylish setting with great service too! We love Zaytina and have dined there ourselves but also love to treat our "foodie" guests here too! During this visit, our Bostonians were greatly impressed and were thrilled with dining at and enjoying the atmosphere of Zaytina!

   When we ordered a kebab sampler, our order arrived not even 2 minutes after ordering. We found that it was obviously not ours, but somebody’s else’s order. We sent it back and got the very same plate again 5 minutes later. This time, it was dry and cold. They also never bothered to clean up the plates from our table, and at one point the food server placed the food on top of an already dirty plate instead of cleaning our table.

    Super expensive for what you get. Delicious small plate food that you eat with nonstop pita bread. Without the bread you would spend north of $100 and be starving. So if you’re trying to cut carbs, this id not the place for you. Tiny but tasty dishes (they recommend you order 3 plates each and share which is correct). But you’ve got to have the bread.

    Delicious food, great service, only downside is the restaurant is noisy when full. If you prefer a quieter dinning experience book a reservation during their off peak hours, you will not be disappointed.

    The food was amazing! The decor along with the natural lighting is beautiful. However, the service was lacking a bit. I don’t know if it’s how I was dressed but I felt a little unwanted at first. It was hard for me to grab the bartenders attention, & when I did, before I could finish asking questions or let them know I was ready to order, they were walking away. The complimentary bread didn’t hit my table until about 2 minutes before my actual meal. The highlight of my meal were the Brussels sprouts. It hurts me to give this place a 4 star rating because the food was top tier. I will be back to try again, and hopefully I’ll get the service I know this place is capable of delivering.

    Well we made a reservation. The app asked questions about us so we could be greeted. Not only did they not greet us but we got seated at a table with a dirty screen and when we asked to move the hostess gave us a hard time. It took an escalation to a manager to get another table. The bathrooms were dirty and were not attended. It was a disappointment. I was so excited to go to the restaurant and the experience was awful. Unfortunately, I will not return.

    First time eating at this restaurant. Thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Great energy in the place and we were there on a Wednesday night. The food was very good. The service was very friendly and amazingly efficient. The price is extremely reasonable. I had to look at the bill twice because it seemed so low. Definitely will add this to my go to places.

    Zaytinya is a great restaurant. I had not been since 2020 when they were only serving outside (as I recall) so it was wonderful to be back eating inside. The dishes we ordered were amazing and I can't wait to go back.

    It is one of my favorite restaurants ever. Innovative, captivating. Culture-forward. Having been to Greece in 2022 I can appreciate even more the caliber of food they serve. It is expensive. But not unreasonable for the experience you will have. OH that puffy bread and the exquisite wine and coctail menu. The lamb? Melt in your mouth. Octopus? Fork tender. Anything eggplant. OH THE TARAMASOLATA - evil and decadent and worth the caloric splurge. It's the big guy. His name is on it. And I will oblige time and time again just to experience it over and over for as long as my travels bring me to DC!

    Zaytinya has been my favorite DC restaurant. The food was, as always, wonderful, but this time I was disappointed in the service. After being seated and having drinks (we just had water) brought to the table, our waiter seemed to have forgotten about us. He spent ample time with the people in the booth right next to us without once noticing that we were ready to order (10 minutes after having been seated). He came back to the booth next to us several times without even noticing our booth. Finally after sitting there for 15 minutes, I motioned to one of the wait staff (several of whom were engaged in conversation around the cash register) to come to our table. When I told her we didn’t know what happened to our waiter, she laughed and said she didn’t know either! She took the order, incorrectly on one main item, which we had to then wait for after the rest of us had our main items. One dish (spread trio) was brought to the table but we had no naan to spread it on. We had to motion to another server to bring naan to the table. This is not typical Zaytinya service. I was very disappointed.
