Items coming in no logical order: IE, had raw beef on table forever before broth... had to ask twice for rice... veggies came super-late, yet require the most time to cook. Food is tasty, but organization is totally lacking.

                                                                                                          Yuzu Shabu was great for large groups and everyone was very happy with the meal. The DineLA option was a great deal and was a good amount of food. I would highly recommend this place to friends!

                                                                                                          I was excited to give this new restaurant a try, but I will not be going back. We went during Dine LA, but at $45/person, their Dine LA menu was far from being a good deal, so we ended up ordering from the regular menu. Here were our findings: PROS: - The dipping sauces are not at all traditional. The ponzu and sesame sauces were just okay, but the Taiwan bbq sauce was very good. -I ordered the miso broth which was passable. CONS: - For the amount they charge, one would expect nice dish ware, but everything was served on plastic dish ware that were very worn and cheap looking. - Some of the food wasn’t properly cut into manageable sizes. I had to tear the beef slices by hand to make them appropriately sized for shabu shabu. We were also given whole leaves of cabbage, which I also had to tear into pieces by hand. - The dipping sauces were served in tiny dishes instead of small bowls, making it difficult to dip a mouthful of food. - There were no noodles served with our order, which typically comes with shabu shabu. - They didn’t have tongs or strainers available to fish everything out of the pots. -They need to learn how to properly cook rice. My daughter ordered white rice, and I ordered brown. Both were highly undercooked and hard. I felt as if a bunch of guys got together to open this restaurant, but are not taking the time to do it right. They specialize in one thing, shabu shabu….how can they get it so wrong?
