YOY is the first Ukrainian restaurant in Dubai. The hospitable ambience, the stunning view of Atlantis & Fountain shows, traditional cuisine in modern twist will convince you that "YOY" is a new Ukrainian "WOW".

The heart of YOY restaurant is a Ukrainian wooden-burning oven or "Pich", where our cooks roast, stew, smoke and fry. The dishes are prepared over fire will show you what is real Ukrainian firecooking. There is a 13-meter-long table in the center of the restaurant, that is always waiting for noisy feasts. Moreover, you should try Ukrainian borscht and take a look at handmade Kosiv ceramics, both of them are recognized as UNESCO world heritage.

Looking up, you should notice a huge chandelier. It is made of natural sticks and in the form of the stork's nest. In Ukraine, it is a symbol of our native land, so YOY will become a place of strength and inspiration for every Ukrainian in Dubai, and foreigners - the restaurant that will show modern Ukrainian authenticity.

This was our first, but definitely not our last visit to YOY. Food is authentic, with a unique twist. Excellent prepared and portion sizes are nice as well. Service is very friendly (thank you Yullia) - the place isn’t big, so it oozes a homey atmosphere. Noise levels which often are issues on other restaurants are absent here, adding to the cosy, homey atmosphere. The borscht, Spring Galushky, honey cake, Kyiv tart and definitely the Vyschnikovka were amongst the best we ever tried anywhere (in Dubai and outside). We’ll be back!

The table I booked was not kept for me, and the team promised to relocate us shortly that didn’t happen. Regarding the topic I mentioned with booking, the anniversary was not remembered by the restaurant and they did nothing about.

Great experience trying out Ukrainian food. The restaurant is fairly small, but decorated with traditional Ukrainian features. The bread was amazing! Very fresh summer salad. I had the BBQ lamb, which was very tasty. Desserts were also fantastic. It was fairly slow when we visit, so it was nice. I can see it being a little loud if busy. I’d absolutely return.

Yulia was outstanding! Food is great, however, Kyiv Cutlet needs to have improvement in terms of portion, less mashed potato and sides but rather focus on the main element itself. Looking forward to go back

YoY is really impressive and long waiting in UAE first Ukrainian traditional cuisine restaurant! The atmosphere and food literally teleported me back home for 2 hours which I’m really grateful for!
