Japanese
Bar & Grill Yebisu is located in China Town in Central Sydney. This restaurant is located at the intersection of Dixon Street and Little Hay Street. IZAKAYA food is well known for its trendy tapas-like dishes. We serve smaller portions at our restaurant so that you can enjoy a greater variety of selections from our menu. Another meaning for the word “IZAKAYA” in Japan is “sake dining place”. Needless to say, we, as an Izakaya, have a great variety of drinks with more than 100 items for you to select. Not only will you find your favourite beer, but you will also find yourself beholding some of the finest Sake, Shochu (or Japanese Vodka) and non-alcoholic Mocktails. Explore and choose your favourites!

Good vibes and amazing good, they serve big variety of items sushi sashimi yakitori etc. We especially love their new item shabu shabu hotpot. We ordered seafood which is so tasty, when we finish the seafood, EXTRA order a ramen in the broth base, superb excellent. They provide a plenty of sake choices , love them so much.

funky and good vibes authentic japanese izakaya, food is wonderful, and service is friendly. good for group and family catchup. I recommend their Shabu Shabu hot pot, which is very japanese style, so tasty and feel healthy. we ordered Wagyu and pork belly shabu shabu, soup was so good, and we added one ramen in after the meats. perferct!

Fish was very dry, meat was over cooked and what, no veg tempura? Gimmicky fast food joint with expensive prices for what you get. Service was delightful, but could not make up for the very poor quality of the food. Would not eat there again.

Yebisu Bar & Grill is one of my favourite restaurants and I have often brought friends and family over to dine. However, don't go during a busy time as it ruins the atmosphere and the wait for food can be quite long.
