Food is really great although the pita went from nice and warm to cold and tough to chew very quickly. The hummus is incredible and the Chicken Schwarma platter is so good! The decor is old people decor, however, like being in my grandma’s house with lots of bad fake flower wreaths.

We were one of two tables first thing after opening. Everything was fine until we were ready to order wine but the one hostess/waitress was sitting in the front window on her phone for 10 minutes. We finally waved over a server who went and got her so we could get wine with our meal. The food was vey good but we ordered the mix grilled plate and there was no shrimp served, but it was listed on the menu. Overall it’s good but these little things seem to get bigger when you are watching your hostess totally disregard her customers.

Absolutely amazing! Brought our owner along with staffs for a group of 8, and had the most wonderful time! Waiter was so on point with our extremely vague request of “we leave it up to you” I would not hesitate to recommend this restaurant to any guests or my fellow concierges for large groups looking to have great food and a great time. The interior decor is very nice, the simple outside entrance is almost deceiving. While I am used to sending our owner to Michelin fine dining restaurants, I cannot do the same for her and 7 other staffs. This restaurant pleased our owner and our staffs with their amazing food, attentive and friendly staffs, and their quick and quality of service.

Food was absolutely delicious and great portions. Went for a client lunch meeting and was nice and quiet at that time - don't know how loud it would be at night. Highly recommend and I can't wait to go back there!

Too loud for our party of 4 especially given a number of large parties seated around us. Very festive if celebrating birthday or anniversary - the staff turns up the volume of music, brings out sparklers and it’s a 2 minute festival. Happened 4 times while we were there which is fine and fun for the celebrants. Had we known about the overall noise level we would have chosen another restaurant. We had to yell to hear one another and total pause in conversation during each celebration. Good food, lots to choose from; nothing stands out. Nice bottle of Lebanese rose for under $45. I would recommend for decent food/choices and fun celebration if noise isn’t a concern.

I have been there several times for dinner and we enjoyed it , especially the food. This was the first time I had lunch there. It was a lot more mellow and the food was very good again. Definitely going back.

Very unique and interesting cocktails. Very reasonably priced! The food was also unique and well prepared with interesting ingredients. It's a place to try. Seemed a bit pricey for the smaller portions and it was really noisy having no soft surfaces to absorb the sound, but overall we were impressed and would go again.

This is a very pleasant restaurant with a low-key atmosphere and excellent service. The menu offers a good range of choices, the items I had were very good (I chose the Grill platter as my main dish), and the portions were very generous. This was my second visit and I will definitely be back

The service of the staff and the friendliness of the owner were wonderful and should be noted. However, the food really wasn't that great. I would say mediocre at best and a bit too pricey for the quality and the taste.

I usually do not like to leave negative comment as it is already very hard for the restaurant business to suceed but I feel compeled to share our experience: we went for lunch and selected the grilled salmon as the main dish and it was terrible, poor quality, burnt in some place and certainly not worth the price of $36.00 @- Also the Kenafa desert was the worst we ever had in NYC. The only positive comment I have is on our server Mauricio who was by himself but was efficient considering the size of the restaurant and the number of patrons. Unfortunately I do not think I will give Yara another chance.
